《Unfettered Path of the Slayer》Chapter 3 - The Curves

Cicadas chirp resounded through the surrounding. Streets crowded with locals. Merchants driving their horse carriages to sell their wares. Children chasing flying bugs with their insect catching nets. Young lads slacking off under the trees.
A young man with a long hair bound in ponytail is casually strolling down the streets, seemingly lost in thought.
"Hey, young man! These fruits are freshly picked today! Come, come buy! It's only a 6 copper coins a piece!" called the merchant selling his wares on the streets.
The young man naturally turned his head towards the one that has been calling him. Then he smiled and turned. He seem to be not interested.
That pony tail young man has a devilishly handsome appearance. It's very difficult not to notice him. So the merchant called him out since he noticed him. A merchant must grab every opportunities for profits! In the middle of the day, the sun shined majestically. Beaming its warm light to everything.
A young man with a long pony tail hair was running within the forest, with a huge bag on his back. He leapt upwards and agilely climbed a very tall tree.
This young man is Krad.
Since Krad trained for 10 years in the wilderness, he wanted to see the wonderful things this magical world has. So he took a casual stroll as he was pondering where this place is. He went to a shop and bought a map, then ran off to the nearby forest to look for a very tall tree, so he can get a general image of where he's supposed to go. "Haaa, Godblade Kingdom, huh. I can't believe im this far away from my dukedom. Just how did I end up here?." sighed Krad as he wondered why he is on this far away land. He could remember that he and the old man only travelled for a day on their horse carriage and reached their destination: that vast wilderness. 'It must be one of those old man's doing.' said Krad inwardly as he clicked his tongue in frustration. He unloaded his bag from his back at this moment and grabbed something to eat. The scenery above here is beautiful, so he sat on the thick branch of this very tall tree and munched on his lunch.
But while he was eating his fill, as far as he could see, he noticed a flaming figure flying above the forest afar. The air around that figure distorts from time to time. One could tell just how hot those flames are! The flaming figure flew up and down, and in circles. As though it's leisurely showing off its splendor. Then, it made screeching cry and dove deep into the forest.

Krad sat there, dazed.
"I-is that a Vermillion bird?! No way!" he cried out.
Krad had read up books from his castle when he was little, though only children book ones. One of those books stated that there was a magical bird with flames as its feathers. A relative of the immortal Phoenixes!
Of course, Krad only guessed what that existence is, but he himself was clearly unsure of what that flaming figure exactly was.
'Since I have nothing to do right now, I might as well tame that!' he said excitedly to himself.
The old man taught him simple magics, one of those magics he learned was taming! But it was only an elementary method of taming. What the old man focused to teach Krad was the way to train the ways of the booklet.
Krad wolfed down his lunch and gulped his canteen of water. He then climbed down the tree and headed towards the direction of that flaming bird.
Krad swiftly dashed through the woods. The trees seem to not impede his speed. Krad's movements was extremely free, as if he knew the topography of this forest!
"It should be around here."
Krad muttered as he reduced his speed, becoming a slow paced walk through the woods. He could see scorched branches on the big trees, leading deeper to the forest. It's a common knowledge that the deeper you are into the forest, the more dangerous it would be! Krad clenched his fist and steeled his mind. He then traced the scorch paths left behind by the flaming bird.
"Opportunities are only for those who are prepared!" he said with a smile.
As Krad ventured deeper to the forest, he noticed that the green mountains on the forest was actually a group of very, very tall trees. These trees are so thick that the flames of the bird can't burn it! While admiring these trees, Krad suddenly heard a screeching cry of a bird. It was so loud that it felt as if his eardrums are going to explode! But Krad endured it, and immediately traced where the sound came from.
The screech seem to originate not far from him! He dashed through the source of the sound as fast as he can with a grin on his face. His face filled with excitement as he looked forward to taming this flaming creature.
'Strange. There should be people chasing after this bird but it seems that I'm the only one who's chasing after it. Are Vermillion Birds that cheap?' he asked himself while dashing at top speed.
Right. A creature of this level should have attracted the attention of many magicians. What's more, the bird seemed to be in perfect shape. It should fetch for quite a price. But strangely, only Krad was chasing after the flaming bird.

It has been 2 hours since Krad ventured deep into the forest. Yet he found no flaming bird. He traced the scorched paths above on the trees where the flaming bird passed through. But it was useless! It seem to know that a rouge had been tracing its scorched paths.
"That should be the case. Shit! I've been played at!" yelled Krad in frustration.
He clenched his teeth and fists as he steeled his mind once more. But this time, he climbed the gigantic trees that are only found the deeper you go to the forest.
After agilely climbing the tree, he fiercely decided where to go. Deep within the forest Nearby the flowing river. A flaming bird, twice the size of that dinosaur-like aberration, is leisurely enjoying its sumptuous feast. It's pecking on a carcass of a bisected 28 meter long Armored King Crocodile. It's armour was incredibly tough, but it was bisected in half! The cut that bisected the crocodile was extremely clean, as thought it didn't have any chance of resisting.
"Fuck! That fucking gator even dared to make me scram? Who the fuck do he think he is?!"
An extremely irritated voice cried out. It was so heavenly that it surpassed even the most talented singers mankind has ever known.
The flaming bird cried out a screech as if agreeing about the foolishness of this gator. Then it fiercely pecked on the carcass of this Armoured King Crocodile. Krad was still dashing through the woods, frantically tracing the scorched paths of that flaming bird.
"Damn it, how could this bird be so--"
Suddenly, Krad heard the screech of that bastard flaming bird. The screech was close, so he immediately dashed towards the direction of where the screech came from. Tik ..tik ..tok tuk
As he was dashing forwards, he turned his head towards his right when he suddenly heard a sound of pecking. There, he could see a flaming figure pecking on carcass of a gigantic thing. Krad urgently casted a elementary silent footstep spell as he slowly approached the area where this flaming bird at.
Krad slowly walked towards the bird. But a few meters before he could clearly see the appearance of this bird, a cold breeze of air so comfortable brushed through behind him.
'There must be a river nearby.' Krad grinned.
'Hehe, you stupid bird. I'm a genius y'know!' said Krad inwardly and licked his lips.
Just as he was formulating his plans to lure the bird to the river, he suddenly heard a splash few meters away where he is standing. He wanted to formulate a plan and lead the flaming bird to a trap. Of course he needs to analyze the surrounding river so he can successfully execute his scheme. But the splash had caused him to lose focus, causing him to look where that sound came from. 'Another beast?' he thought to himself. But the sight that greeted him caused him to gape in surprise.
Few meters away from him, someone had just jumped into the water, causing the waters to splash out. As the sun was still above, its gentle rays of light shone upon the river. The refraction of light causing the area to seem to be bathed in celestial lights. In the midst of the water ripples, a head of silver hair captured Krad's attention.
The river is very deep, but its shores are perfect for bathing, only around a meter deep. Krad immediately hid behind a tree, as he sneakily watched the scene. He stared at the figure, with a look of excitement on his face.
It was a young woman. That woman who had just leapt into the shore had her arms raised, adjusting her wet, long silver hair. Her skin looks so soft, so tender. He had a sudden urge to caress that skin. Her back facing Krad, her slim waist and perfectly alluring figure. The waters covered half of her body, from buttocks down, but the refracted celestial lights made the scenery even more bewitching.
Krad couldn't help but feel a burning sensation somewhere around his crotch.
"Th-this..."
*POOOHHF*
2 lines of blood streamed down from Krad's nostrils. Even though he had retained his memories from previous life, he was after all, a virgin! Seeing a nude bewitching young woman bathing at such close proximity for the first time in his life was so exciting that his nose bled.
"H-holy shit! The Curves! Even those girls from my world can't compare to her!" His eyes are blazing with excitement, utterly forgetting his main reason for coming here, he murmured to himself for that young woman to turn around!
The silver-haired young woman bathing with her arms busily adjusting her wet hair, seemed to have heard Krad's murmurs. Her ears twitched, her movements froze.
She hurriedly covered her plump, bouncy, ample chest as she plunged her body into the water.
She glared at Krad, her face flushed pink in embarrassment. A look of ice-cold murder occurred on her beautiful golden eyes. Their eyes met.
