《I can summon my past lives》47- Blessings of the unknown - Part 01 -

Damon floated in the Dao Core space, eyes still closed.
His mortal body had just reconstructed itself.
While he remained a Saint Son, he couldn’t not become a mere mortal after sacrificing all the power he ever had through the dragon and the Star bloodline.
As he opened his eyes, he looked around with curious eyes, “So this is the Dao core. I made it in time…I can’t imagine what would have happened if it had eaten it…by then, even if I won in the end, the path to power in the entire Planeverse would have been cut.”
He felt his body and felt that he had reverted to before he met Mad Pill, back when he was still a mortal.
He looked at the Scroll of the Undying God that shimmered not far from him. He couldn’t wait for the rewards he would soon get.
As he didn’t have a way to leave the Dao Core, and could only mindlessly float there, he decided to wait patiently until the scroll had finished absorbing all three sacrifices.
After an uncountable amount of time, the Scroll of the Undying God regained its former dull appearance and then something rather strange happened.
The scroll turned illusory and then it took the shape of a small figure.
The little figure had purple skin, long pointy ears, a long nose and had no hair.
The little figure’s three eyes first darted from left to right until they landed on the shocked Damon.
Wearing what looked like a makeshift robe too loose for its small body, the purple figure that appeared to be male from its facial features said, "Hello, Master. I bring gifts."
"Where is the Scroll of the Undying God?" Damon asked.
"I am it...its spirit to be exact. I am the one who gives rewards to those who make sacrifices to me. Normally, I wouldn’t appear, but this time I had no choice but to come out this time...because the sacrifices you made...well one of them had satisfied my master...so much so that he is willing to grant you any two wishes through me as a reward and as it is meaningless for you to sacrifice the dragon’s power and soul since the amount of power sacrificed will give the same amount of power in return. Keep in mind that we value sacrifices that have meaning and can be then quantified in the corresponding power. For example if you own a universe, if you sacrifice it you’ll get the corresponding power from its refined energy, minus a considerable percentage as fee of course...which means sacrificing power for power is really meaningless." The purple figure said.

"The Star Bloodline however is another thing altogether. Its value is so high that even you yourself have no idea. My master is very pleased with it. So what do you wish for? You can ask for anything...I assure you that I’ll fulfil your wishes no matter what you ask." The purple little being said in its deep voice that didn’t seem to be proportional to its height.
The appearance of the purple being had been something that could be explained somehow….but hearing that he could get any wish granted and two of them at that.
Either way, Damon was happy...he didn’t even care who the Purple being’s master was, where he was and what he was going to do with the Star Bloodline...all Damon was now doing was thinking hard about what he would ask for his two wishes.
Firstly, he had learned that he would receive the same amount of power as the one he had sacrificed in both body and soul as it was useless to sacrifice them in the first place from the words of the purple being, but useful in a way that the dragon’s consciousness would be thoroughly eradicated.
Secondly, he didn’t know what form that returning power would take once it was imbued back into his body. Would it take the form of soul and body cultivation? Or would it be just a boost of power to the body and soul.
Since the amount of power he would receive back was something greater than what he ever knew considering the Dragon had eaten even the tribulation core, asking for more power would be meaningless.
He had a once in a lifetime opportunity to ask for anything, so he surmised that he had to carefully think it through.
As he pondered about what he should ask for, he remembered that one of his reincarnations, The Saint Son and Empyrean Atlan, had once told him that his power of Imagination Manifestation was effective if one had more knowledge if they wanted to create something nigh invincible against other creations.

Damon wasn’t a smart person and all the power he had accumulated so far had been basically given to him with little effort. That could be seen on how the Requiem System operated. Damon only needed to do little to acquire Requiem Points to then acquire Requiem Souls and fuse with them, gaining more power than he ever dreamed of. As for His hollow soul Damian, he only needed to pay respect to the dead and mean it to get the same result. True, it was difficult for Damian to care about a complete stranger to be able to resurrect them, it was nonetheless easier than what Damon had to go through.
With all that in mind, Damon had his first wish ready. He said, "I want to be able to grant wishes like you, any wish of any kind at no cost to me whatsoever no matter the scale of the wish. Is that something I can get? "
To say that Damon wasn’t nervous would be an understatement. He was thinking that not only for this little purple being, even for its master it would be an impossible task to grant the wish he had just asked for.
The little purple being then smiled for the first time.
"Certainly, it is within my capabilities. "

Touch
Touch is a story about a boy named James, and his friends: a group of young, superpowered people brought together by trauma; all trying, in their own ways, to come to terms with what that trauma means to them and who they want to be in response to it. This is a learning process, and mistakes are made, but they grow, learn, and adapt to these difficulties in ways that some might say only young people can. While it may look it at first, this is not intended as a sad story, merely an honest one. I wanted to make the characters human, and unfortunately, that means that difficulties hit them in very real ways through the story, but then again, they have some equally human moments of warmth between one another as they grow. Triggers: Explores the aftereffects and recovery process of sexual abuse, and some other forms of physical abuse. I like to think I avoided making it edgy, but you deserve to be informed. Some readers have told me that it can feel a bit too real at times. A bit too honest. If you like what you read, feel free to comment or review. I like the feedback. Or you can vote for Touch on TopWebFiction. Touch also now has both a Discord and a Patreon! Updates weekly.

But the angry ghost trapped inside the blade has other ideas. Buckle up for the brutal LitRPG ride of a lifetime Savage Hunters is an alternate-world neolothic fantasy. Characters grow their powers with explicit stat blocks presented right in the text, including levels, attribute scores, and unlockable skill trees. Experience is accumulated by battling enormous monsters the size of buildings. Political intrigue and romance elements ramp up as the series progresses. I originally wrote this story after playing Monster Hunter with my niece. She was 12 at the time, already an avid reader, and wanted to read my other published books. I'm a licensed psychotherapist specializing in severe trauma so I tend toward darker fiction. I told her my usual books are too brutal for her but I'd write her something special. The result was this series, which has been praised by both teens and adults for its depth and universal appeal. It begins with an emphasis on cultural elements because I consulted with a trained anthropologist to craft this neolithic setting down to exacting social detail. After these opening chapters, it rapidly shifts to an action-packed adventure. The first 3 books are fully written as of November 2020, totalling approximately 69 chapters. The first book has been professionally edited already. The following two books require some editing which I'll do on a chapter-by-chapter basis as releases progress. I welcome reviews and comments. Writing is a passion, and reader engagement makes my labor all the sweeter.
