《I can summon my past lives》43- A true monster

If in the earlier outburst of the night scythe you could see a mere three meters before you, now you couldn't even see a few centimeters in front.
Damian could feel the weapon in front of him but he couldn't see it at all.
He reached out with his hand and then felt an object cold to the touch.
The Night Scythe had become solid...no longer an amalgamation of pure darkness.
The moment he touched it, something mystical happened.
His hulking body almost exploded as it expanded like a balloon.
He was no longer three-four meters tall, but due to the unceasing infusion of darkness energy, he was now a dozen meters long.
It was just a way for his body to accommodate the influx of energy being infused into him.
His skin had turned completely black like ebony and a gaseous black energy came out of every pore.
His hair was a good eight meters long and it was black accompanied with the same gaseous black energy. It took to the skies fluttering to an invisible wind.
It was then that an influx of information assailed his mind.
Every domain turned dao under the dao of darkness that Black Fang had ever comprehended was now Damian's to use.
As he opened his eyes again, Damian saw that the darkness didn't impede his vision. On the contrary, he felt...at...home?
His golden illusory wings and eyes had also long turned black. The illusory wings didn't even feel or look illusory anymore.
To accommodate his new form, the Night Scythe had grown to more than twenty meters long.
Damian looked through the darkness and then gave a devilish grin, "You can all turn to ashes now."
As if it was God's proclamation, everyone of the tens of thousands of clones immediately turned to ashes.

It seemed that anything that was surrounded by darkness would suffer the same fate if targeted by him.
Pontius Eventus #1 and #3 watching everything unfold from the mirror world were shaking in fear, "What did we do? There's no hope of beating that, no matter how many clones we have."
"Disperse!" Ordered Damian and the darkness plaguing the world dispersed without a sound as if it had never been there.
"Pontius, you can both crawl out of your hideout...and bring my mother with you, if you want to appeal to my good side... if there's still any left." Damian roared.
Immediately after, two identical disheveled figures appeared before Damian's eyes. Another flash of light later a chained woman appeared in the air.
"Please...we had eyes but failed to see your greatness...spare us this once." Pontius #1 said shakingly. He immediately released Diana to show his good faith.
Diana looked at the familiar yet at the same time unfamiliar gigantic face. For a while she didn't know what to think. She floated towards her 'son' without a sound and just stood next to his gigantic body.
Seeing that she was safe and sound, Damian silently nodded and then waved his scythe and two figures, one small and one big, appeared after a flash of darkness.
The little figure crawled to his shoulder while the bigger one attempted to flee only to be turned into ashes of darkness thereafter.
It was Lil Wayne, Black Fang's grandson and the mirror clone of Diana who had just appeared. Previously, the two had been stored into Black Fang's shadow.
"Killing you would bring me no joy...but having you live knowing that there's someone like me out there who can end your pathetic life on a whim is more fitting for a despicable character like you." Damian said.

"Scram!" He roared and the two Pontius left as if they had been given amnesty.
The gigantic devilish face suddenly showed a kind smile, "Sorry you had to go through this mom. It's over now."
"I know. Thank you for saving me, Damian." She said.
Suddenly, Damian had a pensive look, with difficulty, he tried to say, "Mom, there's something you should know. I...am not..your real...s..."
Before he could finish, he heard Diana say, "That's just nonsense...but in a way it's a half truth...my real son is Damon...and you are now his purest hollow soul, but I'm glad I got to see at least one of you grow up into a respectable little man... it's a shame your father didn't want to have anything to do with the ramblings of your son Chronos."
"Mom. I'm confused... what...what are you? Damian asked.
"When I died after giving birth to Damon, the son of one of Damon's reincarnations, Chronos, came to find me in the underworld and sent me to a paradise where I spent eighteen years. There, I also found my late husband. He came back once again to find us sixteen years ago to give us the bad news, telling us that what he had been dreading had finally happened, but your father didn't want to have anything to do with it, so only I followed Chronos to this world and you should know the rest of the story." She said in one breath.
Of course the sixteen years only amounted to sixteen seconds in the outside world.
A rift opened in front of them and a youth walked out of it.
It was Chronos.
Diana then felt anger rising to her head, "It shouldn't be time for him to go...you promised me twenty six years with him. You f*cking liar."
Chronos looked like he was in a tough spot, unsure if he should say what he came to say or not.
"Things...are now...a bit complicated…" he managed to say with a wry smile.

T.R.E.E.S.E.K.A.I.
Get hit by a truck, die, get reborn, the same old. But what happens when you're reborn as a tree? T.R.E.E.S.E.K.A.I. follows the story of a dryad in a frontier town, watching civilizations get born, thrive, and die on her roots, under her branches. This is more of an ongoing scratchpad of writing experimentation rather than a cohesive narrative so I might do weird things with it from time to time.
