《I can summon my past lives》42- Birth after Death

When Damian reached Black Fang, the Night Scythe escaped his hand and went over to its rightful owner.
Black Fang received the scythe with a smile saying, “It’s good that you thought of using it. But had we not been the same person the rejection would have been fierce. Death would have been the only option.”
Cold sweat was poured onto Damian’s back as he heard that he would have died if he wasn’t Black Fang’s reincarnation.
Seeing the shock on the hulk Damian, Black Fang then said, “No need to be shocked. We may be different people physically, but our souls operate on the same wavelength, so it is not a surprise that the Night Scythe mistook you for me.”
“Alright, what is your plan now?” Damian asked impatiently.
“Well, I started to initiate it the moment I touched the scythe.” Black Fang said.
“So? What Is it? The plan...” Damian asked as he looked at the clones who were dangerously closing in.
Black Fang then gave a warm smile, “Well, I have to die for it to have a chance at succeeding. Whether I succeed or not, you’ll have to pay respect to my old bones again to summon me back so we can see the result together. Find some time to do it while fighting.”
A black scroll then appeared in front of Black Fang. The moment Black Fang looked at it, it unrolled itself and lines of words started appearing on it.
More and more words continued to be inscribed on it and the unrolled part of the scroll reached several meters long.
“What’s this?” Damian asked after being urged by the curious Xerxes.
“A contract. A ‘dark contract’ to be exact. It’s one of my darkness powers. It only works when there are two willing parties involved. Anything can be put at stake, even lives. It’s the most vicious contract I know, because it can literally take your life as well as steal it should you not follow the terms of the contract. You can also use it to bend the laws and gain many other things by sacrificing anything you own or that is ownerless. As long as your imagination has no limit there’s nothing that you cannot do.” Black Fang said.

“And in this case?” Damian asked.
Black Fang answered, “In this case, I am making a contract with the Night Scythe. In exchange for my life, It’ll have to find a way to fulfill the contents of the contract.”
Damian’s eyes then opened widely, ‘Yes...yes, if this works...hehe, Black Fang is probably making the Night Scythe independant. It’s unlimited pool of energy will be able to be used without restraint….by then….all these clones will all be killed thoroughly.’
As the contract was finished, the scroll rolled itself and then a black light escaped it sucking in Black fang and the Night Scythe.
Inside the black light of pure darkness nothing could be seen from the outside.
The process only lasted for a few seconds before the black light exploded releasing the black smoke.
This time the scope was unprecedented.
From the Divine light planet to beyond the entire universe, black smoke permeated the place.
...it even reached the planeverse outside.
Chronos who was looking at everything with a calm face was shocked to see so much darkness come from the fist sized transparent ball of light that held the pocket universe. In no time the entire planeverse was also put into an eternal darkness.
No one knew if the darkness had left the planet for places unknown.

In some other planeverse.
The Fay Planeverse.
A man with Four illusory Violet Gold wings was sitting in a pool of violet water. He had violet eyes and violet hair.
His earlier kind face now showed some viciousness.
“An Edict Weapon has been forged in a Planeverse near mine. I wonder who managed to accomplish the impossible. The only other Edict Weapon that is known is in the hands of my ancestor, The All Father, also known as The Celestial Infant. The Edict weapon, the Golden Hoop that he controls, was born from the accidental death of the Creation Sovereign who wielded the Edict of Creation while attempting to create something greater than a Planeverse but lost all his energy and power and failed miserably. As he died he attempted to fuse with the Golden Hoop that he always wore, thinking that he could at least save his soul. What must’ve happened was that he must’ve put another command in his fusion that no one knows about and since he was the only one who wielded the Edict of Creation, his wish kind of succeeded. He became an object that could only be used by others.” the Violet gold winged man said.

“Perhaps only those with the Edict of creation can create Edict weapons, because all those who tried later never succeeded.” the Violet gold winged man said.
“Well, I’m not the only one who felt that surge of energy. Those who were alive when the Golden Hoop was created know what just happened. Poor little Planeverse. They do not even have that many Edict level Practitioners...probably. They are about to be invaded by all the other 66 planeverses of the Chaosverse.I wonder who will get his hands on that Edict weapon. I should join in the fray as well.” the Violet gold winged man said.
In all the other 66 Planeverses, many similar sights could be seen. Many Edict Level Practitioners with armies of Dao Beings were making their way towards our little planeverse.
***
Chronos who was now seeing a new future suddenly smiled.
“”Hehehe...with so many coming to see our funeral, how exciting….they are just coming here to die. Let’s just teleport the dragon Damon in their faces when they get close. With so much energy being emanated from them the Dragon will want to have a bite.” Chronos then crazily laughed.
“As things have become like this. It is no longer necessary that Damian learns the Dao of Virtue. We will need the crazed Dragon’s power to overpower our enemies.”

Dear Spellbook (Link to rewrite in blurb)
A rewrite of this story has been posted here: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/49881/dear-spellbook-a-fantasy-time-loop-rewrite Live. Study. Repeat. Tal is a sorcerer in a world where they are killed on sight, traveling with a man charged with carrying out the task. Every night Tal must pretend to study his spellbook to maintain his disguise as a Wizard’s Apprentice. If his disguise slips and his charade is uncovered, it will be his death. Seeking answers to mysteries that arose after his parent’s murder, Tal must accept any allies, no matter the risks, to uncover his family’s secret. But when he wakes up one morning to find himself trapped repeating the same day, he has to overcome his challenges all on his own. This story is an adaptation of a D&D campaign I ran but never was able to complete. I tried to capture the feel of a table-top RPG session —tropes and humor— without relying on the mechanics. This is not a litRPG or gamelit story and no D&D mechanics or system appear in the game. It follows one member of an adventuring party as he deals with the problems with that arise from being an adventurer. Namely, getting roped into adventures. The story has a time loop element, but will eventually move past that. This story explores the magic systems, the history, and the lore of the world through the lens of Tal's entries in his Spellbook and interludes from other written works in the world. New entries on Mondays Credit to JackOfHearts for the cover.

The Tales of the Revolution
Synopsis: As a scholar of science and technology, Joseph Algorith was a man who pursued his dream in unrealistic methods, using his intelligence to surpass all hurdles in this Galactic Era. He was an idealist that combined his thoughts with realism. However, unbeknownst to him in how it had happened, he had gained the opportunity to research a new system, a massive planetoid shrouded in mysteries and magic. However, to fully realize his ambition and creativity, he must save the human race of this magical world, filled with different races and monsters. “The Heavens had forced me, so I shall propose and never will be disposed of.”- Joseph Algorith Spoiler: Basically, he is reborn, with his knowledge as a scientist of the galactic era, into a new world with magic and aura powers. In this world, humans are part of the 7 major races, but two (or three) are planning to enslave them, while the others are watching on the sidelines. His plans are to develop modern weapons to strengthen the human nation because the mages and aura users aren't immortal or have steel flesh even as they get more power to the point they can deal damage of a howitzer using special moves. Though it doesn't mean that there aren't magical armours (and other things)... Extra: I'm not sure if romance will be in this. Depends on whether you, the readers, would like it or how I develop the story further. And there won't be an exact release schedule as I prefer my pace of writing and because I'm busy in life (school and extra activities, FML). If you find any mistakes, please remind me. Also, my writing style and the pace of the story may be slower than other stories you might have read on this website. Though I may make some revisions with the story, considering my editor's thoughts. Also, my story has some concepts from RTW in terms of the idea of creating weapons in a magical world, however, the plot is mine. After reading, tell me, what do you think of the beginning? What do you think your rating would be.?If possible, comment down below anything that could help me improve or to express your thoughts. Lastly, please NO COPY AND PASTE!
