《I can summon my past lives》38- I’m thinking about killing a Pope

“Where is She?”
‘Diana’ was slightly frowning, “What do you mean?”
“I want to know where my mother is. Don’t try to lie to me, you’ve done enough.” Damian said.
What followed was an evil laughter.
‘Diana’ face now looked evil and strange to Damian, as compared to the warm smile his mother always gave him.
His faith in her had wavered in the beginning, but it took Xerxes’ reminder to cement it in his heart...his faith in his true mother...what she was truly like...who she truly was…
Nonetheless, he couldn’t bring himself to beat the information out of this ‘abomination’. After all, she really looked like his mother.
“You’ll never find her.” ‘Diana’ said in a gloating tone.
Damian then asked, “What are you after? Is it me?”
“Yes. We’re after you.” She said.
“Is she okay? Have you hurt her?” Damian asked the most important question.
“She’s safe...for now. If you make me unhappy you understand what will happen don’t you?” She said.
“[Mind domain].” Xerxes said. “Stop your games and tell us what you’re really here for.”
As if caught in an illusion, ‘Diana’ started talking, “I was sent by my master Pope Pontius Eventus to convince Damian to join the church’s Order of the Holy Crusaders division.”
“Where is his mother being kept at?” Xerxes asked.
“Inside the companion soul of the Pope.”
Black Fang’s shadow then enlarged towards ‘Diana’ and then came out of the ground to appear solid and covered her entire body.
Next, the shadow, along with the imprisoned ‘Diana’ entered the ground and then the shadow went back to how it was before, below Black Fang’s feet.
“Come next to me, we’ll go straight to that Pope.” Black Fang said.

They teleported in the Pope’s chambers, right as the latter was in the middle of pleasuring a guest. The quattro arrived so close to the Pope that it was almost comical.
The woman in the room screamed, followed by the Pope who promptly hid behind the covers.
The quattro didn’t have the heart to laugh at a naked old man who had been caught in the act.
No...they had come with the intention to kill.
The woman stormed out of the room and flew out of the window stark naked. She didn’t need to think too much why a human was accompanying three beasts to assassinate the Pope...and from the looks of it, that young human teenager was more angry than the beasts.
The Pope had long recognized who they were and was already thinking of how he should survive this ordeal...it was true, the best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry.
“What have I done?...” The Pope thought. With the God of death, Black Fang, at his door, it was too late to even think of repenting.
The Pope then stood up, carefully covering his member, which was surprisingly still erect, with the covers. He said with a trembling voice, “I...I can explain everything. Please...just let me explain.”
Never would he have thought that his foolproof plan would be seen through completely...even to the point that death was so close that he could almost taste it.
Damian then said, “I’m thinking about killing a Pope today. What do you think, Black Fang?”
Black Fang evilly smiled and said, “It should be God’s will...hehehe.”
Xerxes said, “God’s will indeed. Who should do the honours?”
Lil Wayne kind of understood what was being said...at least that’s what it seemed like from the way he was gloating and showing his sharp teeth to the Pope.

“No...Nonono...listen, If I die...You’ll never see your mother for the rest of your life.” The terrorized Pope seemed to be making empty threats from the way he trembled as he spoke, but all he said was the truth. He could indeed kill Diana Kaz as he died since no one other than him would be able to take her out of the mirror world.
“I have enough relics of her to bring her back to life in a way that she’ll be truly immortal...as long as I live that is...” Damian said as he approached the Pope with each step carrying an incredible momentum.
“You can bring people back to life?” The Pope felt so much regret that he wished he could die instead. Such a talent had been lost forever when it could have served humanity.
The Pope then decided to show his trump card.
If he had to die, better go down fighting.
His little mirror materialized itself before Damian’s punch could arrive.
As the mirror released a blinding light, the Pope seemed to be aging rapidly. His already aged body looked as if it could be blown away by a little breeze anytime.
All that could be seen of the Pope was the middle finger he had managed to show them as well as the smile of gloating blended with a little hint of despair.
“You can go die, now. Hey, Black Fang, I wasn’t there in your time, but if I was you’d never have been as overbearing as you used to be...hehehe..you’re about to find out, just how far us fickle humans are willing to go to protect our pride. And...to you, traitor of humanity, you fully deserve what is happening to you. You can all go f*ck yourselves!”
The Pope’s body turned into ashes that were absorbed by the little mirror as Damian caught empty air.
The blinding light coming from the mirror was so intense that even the sun seemed like a wisp of light next to it.
The palace exploded as the mirror took to the skies where it enlarged and covered the area below the clouds.
Countless figures could be seen materializing in the skies in the blinding light released by the little mirror.
On the side, Black Fang was laughing uproariously. His muscles bulged as his fur fluttered to an invisible wind. It seemed he was ready for the fight of his life.
In contrast, Lil Wayne seemed terrified.
Xerxes was slightly smiling as he shook his head.
Damian was looking at the skies trying to glean something with his eyes that would explain why his friends were acting so strange.
