《I can summon my past lives》31- {Black Fang} Reincarnation of Damon Kaze

Deeper into the Dark continent, in the core regions was the abode of the Dark Lord.

Raphael Lom had been the Dark Lord of the Beast Clans of the Dark Continent for a long time.

He still remembered the old days when he had been the follower of the previous Dark Lord, the Heavenly Wolf, Black Fang, before he ascended to his throne.

Back then he and Adolf were just young Saints, but the Heavenly Wolf who was also Adolf’s father was so much stronger than them.

The Heavenly Wolf, Black Fang had appeared out of nowhere and beat back the human invasion that was hunting the beasts for sport.

The humans had at least five saints but three of them died during that war, killed by Black Fang himself.

His reign only lasted for a few thousand years before he decided to...die.

Adolf and Raphael remembered that Black Fang said he had to die so that there would not be any mistakes for his future selves. He even said that his whole life had been an accident purposefully made to elude the so-called Reincarnation Lords so that he could deliver a message and items sealed in his soul upon birth.

Who were his future selves?

What were the Reincarnation Lords?

They didn’t understand.

They only watched as he slowly closed his eyes and committed suicide.

Now Raphael was the patriarch of the purple ape clan as well as the Dark lord of the entire Beast clans. His life had become uneventful for a while and he was bored.

He then felt a bloodline suppression coming from afar, “Isn’t that Adolf’s territory?”

“I better go see.” An arc of lightning flashed where he was and he had vanished from the throne room completely.

Above the heavenly Wolf city, Damian had a smile as he looked at the kneeling wolfmen. He was one hundred percent sure that the happenings had been initiated by him...indirectly.

He had felt a kind of power escape him while Adolf had his hand in his chest. He surmised it was that Luck Bestowal that Xerxes had talked about. Anyone who touched him would be imbued with luck.

Also, he was amazed that he could survive such an injury. Normally if you had no heart, you would die, even for the inhabitants of this world.

Was he really invincible? Truly invincible? Even saints could be killed, what was so special about him?

“I have to ask this stupid lion later, for now let’s go pay respects to the dead Dark Lord.” He said as he flew towards the temple while all the wolfmen were busy being suppressed by an unknown power.

When he got inside the temple he was amazed at how big it looked in and out.

The corpse of the Heavenly wolf, in the middle of the temple looked like a little mountain with at least thirty meters of height...and that was when it was sleeping on the ground. If it stood up, it would probably reach 50 meters of height.

He got in front of the corpse and then said, “May god receive you in his eternal embrace.”

He looked up waiting for a spectacular scene to unfold...but nothing happened.

Xerxes then said, “You need to be sincere enough. Your sincerity is flawed. This isn’t just saying some words, you need to show that you care even if you’re not supposed to.”

How can one be truly sincere…

“Of course I don’t care. I don’t even know this beast.” Damian thought.

Damian didn’t know it but this was another test. The test of faith. The faith he had in himself and how he could move his will to accept things that could not be seen and touched.

Like in this case, being truly sincere when he has no business to feel like so for a complete stranger.

In theory, he could try a thousand times by saying all kinds of phrases and not succeed.

After the nth try, Damian grew mad and then said, “You know for a dead corpse, you sure know how to stay dead. I’m sorry I’m disturbing you, but I need your strength or your Clansmen will chase me to the ends of the earth because of what this damn lion said to them. I’m sure you miss your Clansmen, how about coming back to life to see them again?”

After those words, his white Requiem book that had remained idle the whole time then showed some activity. It opened itself and then stopped on the eighth page. The page released a blinding light that shone on the gigantic corpse.

The corpse of Black Fang was then made to float by the light that had surrounded it and in the next moment was sucked inside the page.

On the eighth page there then was a picture of a lifelike black wolf with a black element like smoke around it.

[Found and resurrected the first Requiem Servant, {Black Fang}, also this physical body is one of the reincarnation of your true body Damon Kaze.]
