“So canceling a wedding one week before it’s going to happen” Liam said “Any idea, remember right now, there is no wrong answers”

“The clearest option is to show everyone what the Lion guide truly plans to do” Maria said.

“No that would be too difficult, we have no hard evidence, what we heard were coming from a secret mission of ours and by doing so we are much more likely to be targeted and killed before any real damage could be done” Liam said.

“How about a scandal, we could attack the Lion that way, maybe we could say that Alexander Leon or Rose has a secret lover or something like that” Allan said.

“I think we should figure out a way to warn the Blackburns, it is the simplest way,” Luna said. “All we really need to do is to get them to talk to us”.

“If that’s all you need then it would not be a problem, Luna '' Kyle finally broke his silence.

“Have you finally got a plan, Kyle?” Liam asked. “Part of it,” Kyle replied.

“So how can we get close to the Blackburns now ?” Luna asked.

“We don't, they will come to us” Kyle answered.

The next couple of days in the city of Casablanca, in every corner of the street, in every bar and taverns, a rumour was spreading like wildfire. People were talking about how the Lion guide had been fooled by the Balckburn guide. They were saying that the Balckburn were actually ran out of money after so many failed business and missions ending in the death of every members of the crew, because of their own incompetent and that was why they were the one that is pushing for this marriage. More and more sinister theories and rumours appeared out of nowhere, to a point where people were suspecting the Blackburns of using Rose only as a tool of getting money and power or Rose herself using magic to charm her way into the Leon family. It finally reached a point that people were mocking the Blackburn guide on the streets, calling to cancel the wedding for the Leon guide's well being.

Of course the Blackburns were furious at the ridiculous rumours and sent out people to find the source of the rumours, and unsurprised by Richard, he found a familiar name, Kyle.

Allan, Liam, Maria, Luna and Kyle were found and ordered to follow the Blackburns guards back to the Blackburns residence. They all went willingly and did not put up a fight, when they finally met up with Richard and his family, his wife and Geralt, Kyle greeted him with a smile.

“Hello old friend, it’s so nice to see you again, sit down, we have something really important to discuss” Kyle spoke. His ‘old friend’ however, did not welcome him with an open arm. Rather, Richard pulled a sword and pointed it right to Kyle's neck.

“I thought I told you to leave this city and never to be seen again ?” Richard said. “Do you really think that I don’t dare to kill you, why are you still here spreading false rumours about my family and guide”

“How about saving your life, is that a good enough reason?” Maria said. Richard and his family looked at Maria with surprise in their eyes then shifted back to Kyle, his only response was tilting his head a little and smiling.

A brief moment of discussion between Richard and his family before they decided to listen to what Kyle and the team had to say.

“The Lion guide is planning to kill you all at the wedding” Allan said. “We are sorry about spreading all those rumours, but you did not want to talk to us and this was the only way.”

“How did you find out that the Lion guide is trying to get rid of us, do you have any evidence?” Richard asked.

“No, we really don’t have any hard evidence, we just found out about this when we were doing a secret mission. Luna and I overheard two men who called themself Darius and Crul, one from the Lion guide the other in the city council. They were talking about how they were preparing poison and weapons, how sad that Miss Rose would be the one who paid the price, that you should not have messed with the Lion guide.” Allan replied.

“Is that it, you heard someone talking while you’re going on your secret mission, no evidence, no specific detail, just someone trying to kill you. How do you expect us to believe such nonsense?” Richard said.

“We are telling you the truth, the Lion guide is planning something and it is obvious that the Lion guide is taking advantage of your situation.” Luna said.

Richard laughed and smirked at what Luna just said “Lion guide is not the only guide who does this kind of business with the city council, every guide does the same, how would you think we can go in and out to sell our goods so easily. And as Kyle must have already told you, we are in big debt ourselves so to be honest here, who do you think is taking advantage of who?” Richard said.

“But you're missing the point, they are going to kill you guys to take over everything by themself, not to mention have you ever considered Miss Rose’s decision in this mariage?” Allan said.

“Enough of this, we don’t have time to continue to listen to this hoax of yours. Stop trying to ruin my family and my guide with your lie.” Richard said.

Allan was about to respond to those words from Richard but Kyle just stood up and walked to the door. With his back turn against them and one foot out of the door,

“Oh well, we try our best like I promise. If they don’t listen then there is nothing that we could do, let’s go guys, it's time to get out of this city before it’s too late” Kyle spoke.

Allan instantly replied, he stood about and as if he was screaming at Kyle, “No, how can you just give up so easily, it doesn’t matter if they want to or not, we will still help them. Don’t you remember what you said, “either we get their help or we do it by ourselves”, I refuse to give up now !”. All eyes were on Allan as he spoke those words without hesitation without fear.

Kyle stopped, closed the door and turned around with a smile and said “You wanted evidence Richard, that's your evidence.”

“We did not have to give you this information Richard, we could have just left this place, like how I wanted, and saved ourselves the trouble. But this guy wanted to do the right thing and put his life on the line for you. By helping you we are at risk of being targeted by the Lion guide and your guide also, there is no gain for us and we don’t ask for anything in return. Do you remember Richard ?, you once told me that you would do anything to protect your family. And now when someone is telling you that your family is in danger, you just let money and power blind your eyes? I thought you said that you were a hero and I was a monster. How come the monster is trying to save lives while the hero is getting consumed by money and power.” With that Kyle turned his back and walked out of the door, this time for good. Liam followed right after and with him, Luna and Maria, Allan stood back only for a moment to tell Richard “Please, you got to believe us. Don’t let them kill Rose '' and then he walked out.

The team were now outside of the Blackburn residence, 5 days before the big event and from their conversation with Richard and his family, they didn't know if their destiny had been changed at all.

“What now” Liam asked “Do you think that they believe what we said?”.

“I don’t know we could only hope at this point” Kyle replied. Liam, Luna, Maria and Allan were having their own discussion at the back while Kyle just kept silent, he was spacing out again. They kept on like that all the way to the Inn. But then

“Hey Maria, could I borrow you for a minute ?” Kyle asked. “What’s for ?” Maria replied.

“Oh it’s nothing, I just saw that there is a market place over there, I thought that we could go and take a look together, see if we can find anything to cook for dinner.” Kyle relied. It was quite obvious that that wasn’t Kyle's true intention, Maria still went with him to the marketplace, when they came back, it took them 3 hours with no dinner but with a plan.
