"Bring it with Swift's cape," Adil said, handing his sword over to Seras. He knew that he couldn't take it with him. he went to jump off the roof before Seras held him back with a hand.

"Hold it." She said. Adil turned around.

"Don't you need help with the... you know..." she added.

"You got any plans?" He asked.

"Stay with me until I rejoin the goblins. You can kill yourself there."

"It has to be now."

Adil jumped over the side of the library's roof and startled the few he landed next to. He looked from side to side. He needed to die fast but had no idea where he could without leaving an unusual bloody corpse. He walked past the wounded.

He looked for the wounded bodies and tried to find where they were cared for. Maybe there was a pile of bodies out the back from the recently deceased. if he died there then if he was found would it matter? He would never have to return. Does he even need to hide the body?

Adil looked around for a tool, he had just given away his sword after all. He found a sharp shrapnel like fragment on the floor and picked it up. Bracing for the pain he was about to slit his throat. Holding the piece steady he got ready and then. he couldn't do it, *I just need to pierce the skin then it's all good* he thought to himself. He pressed the metal into his skin and pushed.

"Aaah it hurts, fuck, what the hell," Adil said to himself. it seemed that regardless of the changes he had been through, he couldn't just kill himself that easily.

"Hay mista, what are you doing?" A small child said looking up at him.

"Just.. uh... checking out how sharp this metal is." He replied. The child looked like they wanted to say something else but Adil quickly walked off before he could get a reply.

Standing over the wounded he looked at all the materials around. For whatever respective age this world was meant to be in, they seemed to care about cleanliness.

"Are you here to help or watch?" Asked a worker. She appeared to be one of the doctors in the area, carrying some kind of medicine.

"I.. uh..." Adil managed little of a reply before the worker handed tools into Adils hand.

"Help me over here." She almost shouted as she ran to another patient. the man in question had one eye blanked out, without a pupil like the eyes of the creatures taken over from taint. he seemed unresponsive to anything the doctor did.

"hold his mouth," she said. Adil put his hands around the person's mouth, opening it whilst he pinched her nose. She seemed to put some sort of tube through his throat making sure it inst in any windpipe before funnelling a small amount of the strange liquid down it.

"What's that?" Adil asked.

"Poison." She said. Then she began holding hands out to the person's chest, they glowed a faint green before she pressed in. She was trying to use healing magic.

"What?" Adil replied.

She looked annoyed at the questions.

"It's poison to fight the bacteria whilst I use healing magic." she finally added with a hint of frustration behind it.

"It's no use. I can feel his life slipping," she said. with a solemn expression, she lowered her hands.

"Is he dead?" Adil asked.

"His heart stopped," she added.

Adil pushed the items he was given back to the doctor, she seemed annoyed at his indifference to the man. Then Adil put his hands towards the man's chest and focused on his mana. Using a sense enhanced through his open connection to the world he looked inside the person, connecting to his heart. Almost as though there were signals he knew where to push. He shot in a burst of electricity. He could see the message pass along the nerve, how the ventricles compressed and generated blood pressure throughout the man's body.

The healer's eyes grew large as she saw the life energy come back into the dying man.

"That was amazing, thank you," She said. Adil bean walking off and placed a hand on the side of her shoulder.

"No, thank you, healer." He replied.

After Adil had walked off the healer looked around herself in confusion.

"Ah wait, uh, has anyone seen my poooiison.," she said aloud to no one's notice.

Adil had moved away from the healer to try and find somewhere nice to ide. Strangely the basement of the library was empty. The only empty space in the area, crammed with books and with only one exit/entrance it was so indefensible the only use of it was for the books.

Looking down at the poison the healer had he thought he was good to go. With the amount, the healer used on the man taking the whole bottle is surely going to kill him fast Adil thought. he downed the bottle in one. The stomach pains kicked in immediately, throbbing pain as his veins began to show through his skin. He shat himself and moaned in agony intermittently fading in and out of vision.

"AHHRGAAAAAH," he said unintelligibly to the area. He passed out.

A moment later he woke again, still in the same place. His horrible mistake of a choice placing him in more agony. Was he going to be stuck here? he asked himself. The pain staying a constant whilst his pants grew soggier, he couldn't move. A lady was looking down at him now.

"You really fucked up." she said. Yeah, it was Seras.

"Hou lon as it been," Adil asked (how long has it been).

"An hour. I was asked to check on what was happening in here. The guards are too scared, say it's haunted by some kind of shit monster."

"Uhooh."Adil wheezed. Seras bent down towards him.

"Your liver is dead, but that won't kill you quickly. do you want me to help?" She asked.

"Please," Adil said and when he saw Seras with a surprisingly glum expression lean in he closed his eyes.

A slight ding rattled in his head then. It hurt a bit, but not much. He opened his eyes to see Seras standing and said with a sad expression.

"Harder-" and his head exploded.
