《In New Dimensions Everyday》Roderick Sets in West 5

KKK thugs paused and pointed their guns at him. They had bullets left in their chambers. Robotic arms came from Sheriff's spine. There were three hands on each side of back and each of those hands had fancy guns. One arm had a machine gun, another had shotgun, another had automatic rifle, another had cannon and before Roderick could find what the remaining ones were, Sheriff fired from every firearm he had on his back. You don’t even need back up. Sheriff's speed didn’t allow any bullet to graze his skin. Instead, he put bullets through the chests of KKK gangsters. Some died by collapsing on sand, some lost their heads to giant bullets, and some exploded and remained on the train walls to slide, little by little. Before Roderick could see the intensity of menace in front of his eyes, Sheriff moved to another side of train and made bullets and blood rain. Red sand rose from the top of train and kept flying in the air till the sound of bullets ended. Roderick made his horse walk on the remains of human carcass to make his way to Sheriff. Screams and cries were coming out of the windows. Sheriff climbed inside a compartment whereas Roderick didn’t feel right to get in there along with him. He came out with a small child with serious wounds on her chest. The child was shot multiple times in his chest. "Roderick, take him to the village. NOW!" he handed over the injured child to Roderick. "It will take hours. I can't do this." "Do it." Sheriff locked his cold eyes with his. The child also groaned in pain. Roderick took her to his horse, put her in the most comfortable position possible, and left for the village. He was watching his watch all the time. He was also tracking his shadow. The shadow which once was directly underneath him now had tilted a lot and had stretched more. He took the girl to village, left her in a hospital and then galloped his way back to the ambushed area. While riding back, he could feel the sun showing some mercy to him. Sky, which was bright blue, now had golden reddish silk impregnated on it. With anxious heart, he reached back to Sheriff only to find out Sheriff had another injured person with him. "Take her to village please." Sheriff came with a request again. Roderick denied. "It already is three in noon. You are getting more troublesome than Gonzalez or whoever the hell he is." Roderick yelled at the Cyborg Sheriff. "Take her to there. Don’t you see she's dying?" "No, I won't take her to village. Take me to Time Tower." "Please take her there." Now Sheriff started to beg. "Why don’t you take her to village this time, huh?" "Ku Klux Klan will come here. If I leave you alone, then you'll never be able to fight them alone." Sheriff explained. Roderick took the woman and went towards the horse. He sat on a horse and realized he was on Sheriff's horse. "How about I take her to village and you go to Time Tower?" a voice came from the sack. "Don’t try to trick me." "It will be sundown by the time you return. In this speed, you'll neither make it to Time Tower nor to Gonzalez." Captive said. He thought for a while. Roderick dismounted the horse and tore the sack open. "Okay, go. But I won't let you take any horse." He said to captive and handed him the agonized woman. "Thank you." Captive said. "Wait! What is your name?" Roderick asked. "Juan." Captive said and walked with the woman on his shoulder. Roderick watched him walk till he disappeared in horizon.

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
