"Eshaal I missed you so much." Lara hugged Eshaal.
"I missed you too." Eshaal said hugging her back.
"Have a seat Eshaal." Edd said.
"Yes." Eshaal sat and gestured Ash to sit beside her.
"How are you Eshaal?" Jenna asked Eshaal.
"I am fine. How are you?"
"I am fine too."
"Who is he?" Lara asked looking at Ash.
"He is... " Even though Eshaal was expecting this question, she still stammered.
"I am Ash. Her boyfriend." Ash said calmly.
"Really?" Lara was surprised. Not only Lara, everyone had a surprised expression on their faces.
"Yes." Eshaal forced a smile on her face.
"Thats good. Now we don't have to worry about you being alone." John said.
"That's why you wanted to meet us." Edd asked Eshaal.
"Yes, I wanted you all to meet Ash." Eshaal said.
"Eshaal talk about you all alot." Ash said.
"We miss Eshaal too." Edd said.
"Eshaal told me you really helped her back then with her parents death.Thank you for taking care of Esha." Ash said to John.
"You don't have to thank me. Marvin was like a brother to me and I always think of Eshaal as my own daughter."
"Why don't we order something first? " Eshaal said.
"Yeah, I am hungry." Lara picked up the menu card.
"Do you have a spiritual device?" Edd asked Ash after everyone placed their orders.
"Yes." Ash said.
Seeing Ash did not brag about his dagger, Eshaal was a little surprised. " Ash is just like you and Lara. Even though his parents are not gifted he and his both sisters are gifted." Eshaal said to Edd.
"What type of Spiritual device do you own?" Ash asked Edd.

"I have a bow and arrow." Edd answered.
"Interesting." Ash said.
"Lara's spiritual device is even more interesting. She own a bag of candies and these candies have healing abilities." Eshaal said to Ash.
"That's amazing." Ash said.
"Thank you." Lara smiled.
Waiting brought the food and they stopped talking for a while.
"Why did you suddenly decided to close the case? I thought you were going to meet Mr Graham." John asked Eshaal after waiter was gone.
"He is already retired so he can't help her solve this case." Ash answered instead of Eshaal.
"You know Mr Graham?" John asked.
"Yes. He is my Father."
"So your Father adviced Eshaal to close this case?" This time John directly asked Ash.
"Yes." Ash said with ease.
Eshaal did not understand what Ash was trying to do but seeing John didn't say anything else about this subject she asked John. " You think I did the right thing? "
"Mr Graham is a professional and definitely knows better than me. I don't think he can give wrong advice." John said.
"Yeah." Eshaal said.
"You look even more skinny Eshaal." Edd said to Eshaal.
"Really?"
"Yes. You should eat more properly."
"Fine." Eshaal smiled.
Later Ash insisted on paying bill saying since it was Eshaal who invited them, so they should be the one paying the bill.
"You did not have to pay the bill. I will pay you back once we get home." Ehsaal said to Ash on their way back to home.
"That's fine. You should save your money for later."Ash said.
"Why should I save my money?"
"Aren't you going to pay me when I solve this case? And let me tell you, I am not cheap." Ash said.
"Fine." Eshaal sighed.
"Have your broke into someone's house before?" Ash asked Eshaal with a mysterious look on his face.
"No."
"Wanna try?" Ash grinned.

Magic has come to earth and Jack and his brother Bryan have to traverse a postapocolyptic U.S.A. All while making friends, meeting old ones, adjusting to the new world and of course making some pretty serious enemies. --------------------------------- This is my first book so bare with me here! Any input helps a ton! I do take suggestions seriously. I have 30+ chapters written ahead of time but they still need some polishing and editing to post each one. Please point out any errors you find in the comments! I read every one and reply to most! Release schedule is not set in stone right now as my schedule is very hectic. I promise I will not drop this and try to post at least every other day. Every 3 Days max. Thanks again for taking the time to read my story! NOTE: THERE WILL BE COMBAT, BRUTALITY, MINOR GORE AND MINOR LANGUAGE. Also minor romantic situations. If it gets out of hand I'll add the tags for it. 11/30/17 I just updated some middle chapters. There were some bad spelling and grammar mistakes. In my defense I posted those chapters on my honeymoon lol. It should flow better now. I know the prologue is still troublesome but give it a shot beyond that. It gets much better. 12/5/17 I have been updating some of the earlier chapters. Nothing canon changing but it’s fleshed out a bit and flows better. Also fixed some glaring mistakes.

CODEX
The call of adventure was prevalent in Eric's mind since he was a fledgling of a boy. He loved exploring new places so much, that he happened upon a magical tome in a cave he found when he wandered around his neighbourhood. And from this tome, manifested the ghost of a dead sorceress who made a home in his mind. And so began his journey in becoming a legendary mage; and also a royal pain in the ass. NB: Just a side project made purely for fun! HIGHLY EXPERIMENTAL. NO PLOT! Well, maybe a little plot. Okay, it has more plot than I first intended for it to have. And uh, there's not much, but expect profanity.Check out my edgelord book:https://books2read.com/u/mgg7dD

One final battle leaves The Peacekeepers outnumbered and The Chosen One is overtaken and presumed dead. With the thread of the Doomaki gone, the crippled galaxy begins to try and rebuild and find a new Chosen One to lead them and prepare for whatever new threats may come. Tyfoon, the Chosen One's only child, was born during the battle that his father disappeared in, and the ensuing battle left him without a mother as well, dying soon after childbirth. 18 years from that night pass and Tyfoon is ready to follow in his father's footsteps and serve The Council, perhaps to be The Chosen One when he is ready.
