《What's This Fiction ? A Very Incomplete Project.》Documentation

I'll write that every-single-one-of-you bashing chapter later, promise.

But I have an inspiration, which comes from this quite neat chapter from a week and one day ago, and an idea stemming from it, even if it isn't that original and (I think) already done.

Spoiler: The chapter

Today I have not gone to school.

It was a conscious decision, even if more of a spur of the moment than a real decision.

And I can already feel many would tell me “But that’s bad, you need to go to school !” or some such.

They’re right, of course.

As such, I need to let out all of my self-loathing for my decision out.

“Pwasson was crushed by a ton of brick falling on himself”

“Pwasson died due to the universe suddenly going from metastable to stable in this region of the universe”

“Pwasson had a half of his body explode due to unknown reasons, consequently dying”

“You-Know-Who had his entire blood solidify, causing all of his body to malfunction in a few seconds”

“His Authorness left his gas open, a random spark going off making his house to explode. He died due to the burns he received in the accident.”

“The Lazy Writers Association kicked Pwasson out due to inactivity, he shot himself in the head.”

“A dear virtual friend of the author decided that the author is actually just scum in a dispute between themselves, abandoning him forever. The author got on a chair, tied his noose and kicked the chair off. He suffocated.”

“The author cut contact off with everyone, locked and barricaded his house off completely. He died of starvation after many months only spent reading and sometimes fulfilling his base needs.”

There, that should do it for self-flagellation.

Actually…

“The author had a cardiovascular arrest, an aneurysm, fell off his stairs, a heart attack, accidentally impaled his self on a sharp object, piercing his stomach all the way through, then died. His body processed to decay for several months, then years, becoming a skeleton who was later reanimated by the magical apocalypse, only to become cannon fodder in the first dungeon the protagonist clears. He stumbled on a rock and was then swiftly killed by the protagonist, who was actually an evil type protagonist who then ate his soul. He then entered the soul world of the protagonist only to be eaten by the protagonist’s OP soul guardian which he acquired by chance due to accidentally killing a strong monster on the first few moments of the apocalypse, eating his soul and then contracting him after a shitty villain monologue. The soul of the author thus was assimilated in the soul guardian and his essence proceeded to descend in to hell, where his essence was drained into a demon who after an untold amount of time went to the heavenly battle between the holy heavens and the hellish hell, being in the vanguard, he died in the first volley of arrows from the sacred warriors. His essence then was collected and re-separated into numerous pieces, one of which was especially near the one from the author, except demonic due to the long influence of hell. The demonic essences were then sealed into a cursed set of equipment, who was given to a brave mortal warrior, who died in the door to the fire plane, a massive volcano of unnatural temperatures and mass. His essence was then burned off slowly, suffering for millennia until the ultimate end of the universe. Oh, yeah, the protagonist and his soul’s guardian also somehow got in the volcano, as such his soul suffered the same fate.”

Please don’t tell me this story has already been done, I’d be very sad that I’m not that original.

Also, the story’s deuteragonist is a sexy demon queen who antagonizes the protagonist at every step, but in the end falls in love with him at their final battle one the volcano’s rim, only for the Dark God to push the protagonist off the rim.

In her rage, she kills the Dark God with her suddenly awakened superior Dark Magyyks, then kills herself off.

Except the Dark God was only a clone, so he survived, as such he actually is the winner of the story because everyone else dies in the universe’s end, except for him because he’s OP and a villain.

So it was a bit too dark, see. At least, alone.

But, well, it made me think

"I want a story like that, where the character always dies, then dies more, then dies once again."

Like, the reverse of the classic LitRPG. The main character always loses, and continuously regresses in power level.

Except he never truly dies.

So now I'm wondering how I'd write that. Since, especially with that little scenario, where time between events passes at astonishingly slow rates and it cuts offf from one thing to another in very sudden manners.

Would the protagonist be ever-confused at the beginning of each of his "adventures" ?

Would I need to fill in the gaps between those large lapses of time ?

What would be the end ? A ultimate loss for him ? A pyrrhic victory against a great villain ? The character losing, but a final twist happens, making the loss not so bad ?

What would be the story ?

How, where and when would it begin ?

It makes me think of another idea I had, actually, since it is actually compatible with it. Somewhat, at least.

I have it in a doc, lemme pull it up for y'all

If I find it, at least (because finding this doc in particular is hard, who knew)

I've been searching for a bit, and I damn can't find it. It may be on my portable computer rather than this one, then ?

It also isn't on it... Fucker.

So, I know I either sent the doc on discord in a server, or at least sent the basic idea in the form of messages, so I'll try to find those messages... wish me good luck guys, I'll need it.

////////Inter-ludic///////

(I hope the Inter-ludic is actually centered)

So, while I didn't find the doc, I did find some random docs. Quite nostalgic random docs, for some of them.

One of it is an absolute classic : "écrire", meaning "to write".

It's length is...

Too much. A few tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of words too much.

The only word used in it is "écrire".

A classic.

Another is "Write !"

It is titled "Project : Writing". It describes three ideas in about a line each.

Spoiler: The exact format and writing

Project : Writing

Ideas :

- Someone (me ? The narrator.) trying to write but failing to do so

- Reincarnated into an object villains and heroes

-Dungeon in some kinda weird plane (You know, hell, the elemental planes or so, a non-conventional dimension.)

Then...

Spoiler: How to : Write !

I ate heroes

Yep, that's all it says.

There's also this doc

Spoiler: making sense

What fun is there in making sense ?

There's a very pretty one, named BLEH. It, sadly, can't render correctly on royalroad. It is quite colorful, that's all I can say about of it.

I also have a very short french poem made by myself

Spoiler: Papoésie

« Le soleil se lève,

je dis bonjour jour,

L'ombre s'achève,

la nuit toujours court. »

Then there is... more french.

Look, I'm french, I'm allowed to write in french, alright ? It's only about 4 docs anyways. Even if I like them and would like to share them, this isn't a story written in french, they just wouldn't fit in... I think. Even if they might be the most relevant to the story, too... Look, don't question it, can any of you all understand french ? No ? That's what I thought.

////////Inter-ludic : Interruption///////

Sorry to interrupt this passionant Inter-ludic Interlude, but I have found the doc.

So, I was right, it was just here, on this very computer. It was just not within the sea of other docs, so I missed it.

Conclusion : I'm stupid and selective vision is a birch.

So, here it is, das doc :

Spoiler: Random Writing and an Idea

What to write ?

Chode, fhhhhh, simulacrum

Well I have no idea

So it may have been a bad idea

Nightmartree Aujourd’hui à 22:15

The world is overtaken by darkness, but thats okay people can consume the dark and use it to create minions to help them acomplish their goals ...and wild animals just absorb it to grow stronger

well that’s an idea

Random Person Aujourd’hui à 22:29

A self insert into your favorite series?

Also an idea I guess

I will actually write about of me trying to find ideas

So, you see, one day, I saw some random friend named Zeno being like

Productive

So I was like « aw yeah me too I wanna be productive, let’s write »

The thing about of that is I opened this clusterfuck, looked at it then told myself

« man I have no idea what to write »

So I asked people in the chat Zeno and I were talking in, as well as Discord dwellers

More precisely, I asked Zeno (and anyone else wanting to pitch in), « give me words »

The result of wich was him giving me (in chronological order), simulacrum, fhhhhh and finally chode

But really, I don’t like rules and restrictions, so it was a bad idea, I guess, since I don’t really wanna write something with all of that, wich is fine.

Anyways, the quest for ideas for discord gave me the ideas given above too, from Nightmartree and Random Person. A weird fantasy story idea, wich probs has some potential, and the old classic of a SI into a world you like.

But then they’re like, their ideas, not mine,

And I don’t really like that either ?

My writing style is really just me talking, to an imagined audience, and like, those ideas are so much… Like, not really exploitable like that, maybe ?

Or I just didn’t appropriate them to me, I guess

But the point is that as of now, I don’t want to write about of those, so I won’t.

So what do I write about of then ? Well, a quest for ideas, and ideas of mine !

I have one wich has been running around in my head for some time

Its a world where concepts have a « life », and it’d be the adventures of an adventure

In this weird world where everything is a bit more metaphysical and spiritual-like.

Or something, I guess. Didn’t iron out the details.

The point is, adventures make it grow, somehow ? Like, somehow, having adventures make it become more defined, more pure, more… itself.

Oh, and it’s like, the physical representation of that world of a specific adventure from another world.

But it’s like, it’s own identity, y’know ?! It’s independent of the adventure and all that shit, too. Like, it has it’s own confines, but it still living like most normal beings would in a normal world, maybe ?

IDK really, but that’s more or less my outline as of now, it is susceptible to change

No idea for other concepts as of now really, like, Fear, Determination, maybe the very concept of Mushroom may be captured into a Concept, who tf knows ? Everything and anything can be conceptualized. Like, the concept of Eldritch must be out here somewhere, as is the concept of Divinity, but does that make them stronger ? Depends on how much the very specific aspects of Divinity and Eldritch the concepts are representing, like, there could be very weak Eldritch and Divinity concepts, from, idk fictions, wich might be rather weak, due to any fact, the concept ain’t that intense, original, or striking, it’s easily forgettable and not really prone to worshipping/fearing, and such, for example. So yeah, strong concept = strong Concept. As should be expected. But like, there are still ways to grow, so it’s all fine.

Reinforce your concept and all that shit, already said so before

A Concept can strengthen itself.

Yep, that's the doc.

Does the writing style feel familiar ? It does, to me. Such a writing style ? That can only be me. It is sooo bad, and suuuch a clusterfuck. That's characteristic of myself, really.

I'm not the most verbose of individuals in english, nor do I know the exact rules of english, if some things are redundant, bad, or whatever.

I hope I'll progress in those aspects, some day.

So, I was going on about of how I could combine the two ideas together, right ? Sounds right.

We'll get back to that, then.

Well

You can combine the two ideas.
