"In the thundering storm when hope is lost the heir to power shall not be distraught more from life he would want not but the desire to live will echo through his heart" such are the words written in the shrine of the divine hidden deep within a deep and huge jungle of which the origins are unknown .Our story begins with a young man named "Ryuga Raiha"

6.1 feet, dark black hair brushed with the right side standing up and the left side facing forward and long enough to cover his face, his eyes were red and his canines were a bit longer than usual thus earning him the nickname "vampire" from his middleschool classmates.He was white and wore a white shirt under a black coat with the zipper only half closed as casual wear ,he passed and enrolled into"Godsent highschool" though all the sentient species went their separate ways when the reign of mankind ended in due time they forgot their resentment for man and it imprinted itself as impulse or instinct and because they were stronger and smarter than mankind who had lost their divinity and because of their superior abilities they knew what man had forgotten over time that they were not alone and had already begun their co-existence and formed societies having said that we will now move back to our story of an average highschool with an average amount of students the only thing that stood out was that it was a church funded school hence it was religious institution encouraging the worship of god as a merciful entity. On the first day of school, Ryuga was going to school when a girl with red purple hair dyed pink towards their ends and wearing the usual school uniform comprised of a skirt and the normal clothing seen in a lot of anime normal breasted thin waist and normal hips... her eyes were purple and her first impression on ryuga was cute as he was taken over by her beauty suddenly came running towards him and pushed him aside not knowing what had happened ryuga tried to regain his balance only to grab onto her long hair and fall. the girl fell on ryugas chest almost breaking his ribs, she quickly got off and apologized for what happened

"sorry, i wasn't looking where i was going please forgive me"

to which ryuga replied

"its ok, all that could have happened was that my ribs could have broken nothing serious"

though ryuga meant it as a joke to lighten the mood the girl thought of it as sarcasm and apologized again before leaving. Ryuga realizing he was getting late for class rushed over to class. During the introductions he realized that the girl who bumped into him in the morning was in his class and her name was "yuki himeragi" who also had seemed to have realized who ryuga was. After class she apologized to him saying

"ryuga right.. I am sorry for this morning i was in a hurry because i the alarm wasn't set correctly"

to which he replied

"like i said don't mind it.. besides it makes me feel guilty having you apologize so again and again"

to which she replied

"..sorry"

seeing that their conversation was at a stalemate he invited her for lunch offering to treat her but she said that she had the money needed so she would have liked to refrain from imposing but accepted the offer as they had lunch together a boy from the same class came up to Yuki and asked her to have lunch with him she refused but he insisted that she come with him to have lunch ignoring ryuga , after refusing multiple times he held her hand and asked in a way that resembled an order to have lunch with him, seeing this ryuga stood up and held the wrist of the hand with which he was grabbing yuki and asked him to leave saying

"she is already having lunch with me and it doesn't look like she likes you very much so please leave"

as the sentence concluded the boy tried punching him with his other hand but he caught it with his left hand making him let go of yuki he got close to him and punched him such that no one else saw him punching the boy as they were sitting in the corner and his back was against the wall having no choice but to leave the boy left with a hand covering his stomach after that yuki thanked him for helping her but he modestly replied

"that wasn't a big deal you should have seen what happened at our middle school" ---(at this point i should explain he was from a middle school known for its rogue characters and delinquents though he rarely fought he still picked up a few things studying there)

after the event the classes began and ryuga noticed that the boy from lunch time was one of his classmates after classes he introduces himself to ryuga as "Henry Smith" ruga noticed he was quite handsome

"yo, newbie iam repeating classes cause of my grades and well cause i dont want to get out of school and work myself... the ladies are just extras i get"

noticing that the later part was no exageration he replied with

"and what would a lady killer want to do with a man?"

"obviously kill you but in a different way" (after saying this he started laughing at his own joke)

"anyway i noticed you got the best newbie all to yourself.. thats not good you should share what you have with your friends" (pointing towards a group of boys who appeared to also be repeating grades looking towards them and grinning)

"ok... what do you need" (at this point i should mention that he survived middle school by not fighting not because he striked fear in the hearts of his classmates but cause he was a bit of a pushover and ofcourse weaker than most of them and that became a habit though it was a all boys school so he never really faced a situation where he was asked for a girl)

"didnt you hear me i asked for a piece of that hot chick you got with you" (yuki was talking with other girls nearby pretending not to hear but secretly keeping tabs)

"does this look like a brothel and me its caretaker? if you want help with something i can do please dont hesitate to ask but iam no slave trader" annoying henry

"wise guy ehh? well boys looks like he aint a slave trader... doesnt that make him a slave by the predator and prey rule?"-(sort of like the rule of the jungle)-facing the group of boys from earlier

(at this point i should mention that henry is a foreinger if you already didnt figure it out who spent most of his time in africa since his parents didnt really care about him and used him as a publicity stunt to gain more wealth for their trusts --- yes they were rich and ofcourse he hates them for its this negilance that made him who he is today )

"the what and the who"

boy 1 from the group obviously the stupid one

knocking the stupid ones head

"he means that we will not use this guy as our slave"

boy two the brains and a bit of beauty (also popular amongst girls --- yes uptil now most of the cool ones are jerks and i write what i want deal with it also this is just me trying to give the main story a backbone and i am more interested in the later events so just bear with it)

"but i wanted a female friend... ohh well i guess we got ourselves a homework boy" boy 3 the normal one

"i am no ones slave..."

"yes you are here tommorrows homework do it for me k pal?" henry

"but...but... i dont want to"

"and here i thought you were our friends" the smart one while handing his own work (boy 2)

"here mine too" the normal one (boy 3)

"mine too... mine too... slave boy" the stupid one

at this point yuki intervened tell them to do their own work or she will report them to the teacher

"thanks yuki" ryuga

"couldnt you have handled them all by yourself?" (showing a different side of herself)

while thinking about it he answered

"yes... yes i could i think it became a habit"

"sorry.. for... yelling at you ryuga i thought you were just acting cool infront of me in the cafeteria happened to me before too.... i thought that tough looking boy was working with you... sorry for doubting you"

"huh?"

"like i said iam sorry... please forgive me"

"for what? nevermind i forgive you"

"anyway i think i should head home to my apartment... see you later ryuga"

"ill go back home too see you later"

leaving at the same time the two notice they are heading in the same direction..

"umm ryuga are you following me?" (starting to doubt him again)

"i am not... my apartment happens to be this way too"

near their apartments their paths diverge on different sides of a huge wall separating the street in two with an apartment at each ends. they notice that their apartments are very closeby and being on the second floor they can see each other (the second floors higher than the wall and ofcourse its not a romcom unless it has a twist and a bit of a romantic situation now is it so lets give them rooms which face each other) both had just moved in so after changing clothes to their casual wear... yuki wore a skirt and (i dont have any knowledge about what womens t-shirt like things which they wear with a skirt is called and my net connection is down so... ill call it a ft-shirt (female t-shirt)-) ft-shirt after changing she opened the window and looked out noticing ryuga playing RPGs (not the standard dating sims cause i have no knowledge how they work and i cant use something i have no knowledge of unless its necessary) on his computer (copyright problems sorry... cant tell you which one) and immediately thought he was a stalker (how conceited is this girl? well not much just cautious since shes had run ins with them before--- also anything else is a spoiler) thought after a while of observing carefully she noticed he didnt even look out the window and was immersed in his game taking a breath of relief she calls him not hearing a thing because of his headphones (playing with a song on.. again copyright) --- at this point i should also mention that their terraces are close enough to cross over --- silently crossing over she crept towards him and gently patted on his back (again mentioning that ryuga had his doors locked) immediately jerked it off because of his reflexes and because he thought it would be a ghost or a burgular surprised by this yuki says

"sorry... for startling you... i just wanted to surprise you"

"are you perhaps a stalker? is someone paying you to keep tabs on me?" (over protective parents who dont approve of him living alone)

"no... iam not... i just happened to move in to the apartment next door"

after saying so she started to giggle because of the irony (she thought hes a stalker didnt expect him to call her one)

"whats so funny?"

"nothing.."

"anyway how did you get in here? and why?"

"through the terrace and ofcourse to greet you why else"

(she was just being cautious and was scared of him so she was a bit shy before but after all her suspicions went down the drain she is being herself)

(surprised by her tone) "anyway now that your here do you want to play" --- pointing towards the console ---

"ok since iam here"

and they start playing (kind of felt dumb mentioning that) while playing a Co-Op FPS (which were ryugas weakest game type since he usually plays rpgs but hes still better than yuki) ryuga asks about why she is so cautious of men

"sorry.. i dont mean to its just that i have had alot of stalkers and once one of them tried to assault me i just happened to have a taser on me since i thought i should stay safe and used it before he could do anything but i got traumatized"

"but people dont usually carry tasers... and they dont get so cautious just because someone tried assaulting them" (used to being assaulted just in a less sexual/perverted way)

"thats something i dont like to talk about sorry"

"well lets just play then. sorry for asking"

"its ok...... watch out" shooting the guy behind him with a taser (in the game tasers are a thing in some games such as ~~Dead island~~ stun guns (copyright can go suck it this time the jokes more important)-)

"thanks"

after finishing the game they both notice its late and go to sleep.. the next day the boys from the day before (yes iam not discarding them just yet they must play a huge role in the development before dying) standing at the school entrance ask ryuga to meet them after school in a friendly manner (if you can predict it please do... its not a big secret what happens when someone is told off and made to realize their mistakes in anime) during lunch the boys share their lunch with ryuga who forgot his and yuki was absent cause she didnt do her homework (yes the game took most of her time ryuga already completed his before leaving school before henry started talking to him as henry) after school they tell him about a trip to the mountains they which they made every year as a sort of things and decide to do it during the weekend.

on friday afternoon ryuga packed the necessary material for the trip and rested.. yuki making it into his room noticed the packed bags and asked what they were for and whether he was leaving the apartment cause he thought she was a stalker

"thats not it... i didnt want to tell you because you would tell me not to go but remember the boys trying to make me do their homework... they asked me to go with them on a trip to the mountains"

"ofcourse i would what if they did something to you out of revenge for not introducing them to me"

"bragging? anyway they have been nice to me ever since you told them off so i dont think they will do something like that"

remembering that its true they have been nice to him tells him to take his cellphone and keep it on him then tells him to wait and goes outside.... she returns after a while and hands him a map of the region he will be visiting before seeing him off

Hey guys this is my very very old first novel i wrote when i was like 13? anyway i waited for a chance to proofread it and edit it so its pleasing to the eye but honestly its been years and i figured i wont be doing that (took a while to figure it out huh)

If you liked the story and wish to read ahead (i only have the first volume finished with 10 chapters) then please help me edit them, message me privately if you are seriously going to help with that we will discuss the details then

if this hits off ill write the second volume (else ill move to my second story written at like age 15. yes not posted for the same reason) and honestly i love that one wayyy more than this since this is more of a wish fulfillment of a bullied kid (not anymore tho am the opposite of a bullied child now)
