《The Benefits of Hearing Voices》Chapter 3: An Unknown Scenario

Through the many years that I have lived, I have experienced many sights upon waking up.
Some of them have scared me, while some have left me nauseous. Some have made me feel regret, while some have left me full of happiness.
Though, when I opened my eyes today, I didn't feel any of those. Or, to be more precise, I felt uncertain about what I should be feeling.
When I opened my eyes, I saw a woman sitting in a chair, looking down at me. This wouldn't make me feel uncertain, as I have experienced this a few times before. It was something about her. Something I have never seen before. Something physical.
Her eyes were something I didn't think were possible. They just looked… wrong to me. Instead of being white with an iris and a pupil like I was expecting, her eyes were green with a white iris.
They were… beautiful. Maybe it was because I had never seen anything like it. Maybe it was because of the uniqueness. Maybe it was something else. I just knew they were beautiful.
´Honestly, I'm not sure if you're in love with her or her eyes´
That comment made me slightly blush.
Just… try to shut up.
I hear the sweet voice laugh
´Sure...´
The woman, seeing I was fully awake from the comment, decided to take the initiative.
“Hello?”, she said. Her voice was naturally sweet, sounding like it had been changed over many years for the perfect tone. Clear uncertainty also streaked across her face. This was a first for her, as it was for me. It's not every day you wake up like this.
While I was a little surprised by her voice, I quickly gained my bearings.
“Hello. Could you tell me where I am?”, I asked the woman, trying, and failing, to look completely calm. I didn't know where I was, and I was slightly scared by it.

The woman thinks my question over a few seconds, those eyes of hers looking at me with a thoughtful gaze.
´Now that I think about it, it's definitely just the eyes, you're in love with´
I just ignore the irritating voice in my head, trying to show no reaction to it.
“I… don't think I'm allowed to answer that. Don't worry, though. The others will be here in a second”, she said, being careful to not saying anything she wasn't supposed to.
Immediately realizing I wasn't gonna get anything out of her, I decided to just wait for ´them´ to come. I couldn't take that long for them to come.
“Alright”
The next ten minutes were incredibly awkward. Without even blinking, I think, the unnamed woman would stare at me, flinching at my every movement. She apparently wanted to see everything coming.
Not wanting to start an unofficial staring contest with the woman, I decided to look around the room, trying to find every single detail.
The room, overall, was very… modern. Surprisingly modern.
The walls were simply cream looking. Not peeling or dirty. Just cream. There was no decoration at all save the small curtain that could separate the bed I was lying on from the three others in here. They were not occupied, though. It was just me and the woman, who I still haven't got the name off. When I asked, she just said she would tell me, when the other got here. The color of the curtains was perhaps once the kind of green that reminds people of springtime and hope, but it's faded so much that the hue is insipid. The floor was simply grey, and I couldn't say more than that, as I really couldn't figure out what material it was made of. At the far end of the room were a couple of windows in brown metal frames, only openable at the top. At the door are dispensers for rubber gloves, hand sanitizer, and soap. They were probably supposed to be mandatory, but, from the layer of dust sitting on top of them, it was clear they were not used very often.

I hear the door, to the room, open, and sit up in the bed.
The door opens completely, and in comes three people, two males and one female. Remember when I said, the woman, with the eyes, looked weird? I take that back. She looked completely normal, compared to these guys.
The first to walk in was one of the males. He had a strong upper body, with a little above-average face. This is where things got a little weirder. His legs were absolutely covered in brown fur. While there were small amounts of it on almost all his other body parts, I had mistaken it as body hair, and not actual fur. The weirdest thing about it wasn't the fact he had fur though. It was his clothes. He had the same style as me. I even thought that I had the T-shirt he wore at home. Or, well, used to have.
´Now THAT is not something you see everyday´, I hear a young body whisper.
´Keep it quiet!´, says another voice, shushing him.
The female and the other male did have some features that made them stand out, but nothing as serious as the first guy. The female's hair, and eyes, were a crimson red, while the man´s hair, and eyes, were a deep blue.
“Hello, Darius. My name is Jakob”, Jakob said, his blue eyes momentarily shining.
While I was surprised that he knew my name, I quickly calmed down. Maybe there was a logical explanation. Maybe this wasn't real, and I was in a coma.
´Trust me when I say this. Its real´
Oh yeah? How do you know?
´If you were dreaming, I would be able to manipulate it. I and some of the others do like giving you some fucked up dreams. Remember the one with the giant octopus? That one was a favorite of mine´
Should have known. Well, at least I know that this is real.
“I have a question. How do you know my name?”, I asked Jakob.
He smiled at that.
“Magic”, he said, with a smile on his lips.
Do I have something clogging my hearing, cause I think he just said magic?
“Could you repeat that. I think I heard you wrong”, I asked him.
He smiled wider when I said that.
“The one and only; Magic”

Kill the Harem
I was never a person who struggled with anything. Whatever I wanted to achieve, I achieved, except for finding a good reason for living. That was until I died. Perhaps it was karma, or perhaps it was some particularly sick god. I woke up in a world full of magic and encountered all these women who became romantically obsessed with me. It bears an uncanny resemblance to those garbage isekai series that I had the misfortune of reading in high school. The problem is, I loathe isekai. It got to the point where ever time I read about a busty elf-girl wanting to follow the protagonist, I wanted to throw something. It's illogical and it ruins the flow of the story. But now, I'm the one getting harassed by such illogical people? What complete and utter drivel. If any obsessive crazy person tries to make me theirs without even caring about my opinion, I'll f*cking kill them! I'll kill them all! I'm getting back home no matter what. My favorite manga hasn't finished yet and I want to read it to the end. Q&A Section Q: Is the protagonist mentally healthy? A: No, not even close. Q: Are all the female characters stupid? A: Barring extenuating circumstances, nobody rational would fall for a guy like the protagonist, so there's a bit of selection bias going on here. Q: Is this about a Gary Stu killing a bunch of irrational harem characters in a cliche isekai world? A: Go reread the title and the synopsis. Q: Do the women die because they won't sleep with the protagonist? A: No. I'm not sure where anyone got that from since it's entirely the opposite of what happens.
