I felt now that if I encountered the fierce man and his group, I could probably kill him in an instant. Thinking back to that day, I realized that although he was powerful, he was still weak in his tier. After all, he was a tier 4 Ki user and was only on the second floor, and from what I saw, he was a veteran in the underworld.

Even after considering everything else, there was another thing that was even more important than this, and because of my training, I was neglecting it. Forming a new source of power!

The plan that I had been discussing with Althaea was to form a new source of energy, using life force and natural mana. The idea was to plunder the natural energy, and fuse it with my life force so that I could create a new kind of energy.

We discussed and theorized the idea for the last year, researching how life force interacted with natural mana. We reached the conclusion that this fusion would be possible, but I would need to at least have fifth tier soul power to accomplish it, and just yesterday, I broke through!

We decided to plunder the natural mana, refine it and fuse it with the life force, instead of only fusing it naturally like the nature force users did. The other option of fusing it in its raw form was too unpredictable for us because the body didn't naturally contain natural mana, only the innate mana, that was, in essence, pure, and without any kind of element to it. The nature force users could sustain the fusion with natural mana because they still had their life force untouched by it.

Fusing the refined natural mana with my life force would, in theory, surpass my natural limitation of not having innate mana because I wouldn't be controlling mana, but a new force formed by life force and refined natural mana!

The idea was crazy, even Althaea didn't think that it would work in the beginning. Mainly because there was no way to refine natural mana without innate mana, however, Althaea created a technique that did exactly that using soul force in this last year and passed it to me. I couldn't put the technique into practice before because my soul force was not strong enough, but now it was!

I began to practice the technique without fusing the refined mana with me, only perfecting my mastery over the technique.

The process of refining the natural mana was a hard one, even a lapse in my concentration would stop the process, and when I began the fusion, I would have to pay attention to refine the natural mana and fuse it with my life force.

I talked with Hannah that I would have a closed-door seclusion and that I could not be disturbed in the next few days. I also warned the hotel employees and prepared everything necessary.

I practiced the technique like a madman for 4 consecutive days. My mastery over it was getting better and better, and on the fourth day, I achieved the realm of perfection in using it.

"it looks like this last year of mentally training the technique was worth it." I thought to myself.

Seeing that everything was prepared, I took a shower to relax, change my clothes to a set of new ones, and meditated to cleanse my mind.
