《The ice queen and the nobody》V2 - Chapter 12 - the party III

Surprise and fear were the emotions that the public felt, in front of this sudden attack against them and the crown.
But not all were regrettable victims, since moments after the attackers declared their intentions, the few guards who were guarding the party immediately came out to confront him including Yuster who borrowed a sword, thus initiating the fight between them.
On the other hand, the non-combatant guests, within seconds of starting the confrontation, as a matter of logic, appreciating their safety, prepared to leave through the entrance with great debauchery.
But to their misfortune, this tumult, when they opened the door, they found that on the other side, more terrorists were waiting for them.
These terrorists, sooner rather than later, after immediately rejoicing in the surprise of their victims, we're preparing to strip them of their lives, however, luckily for the civilians, there was an angel guarding their backs, since, in front of they arrived them, a wall of mana formed between them, saving their lives with them.
This act was done by the always prepared Crystal, which seemed strange to her, that the party's exit was not blocked.
"You were right," Yulio told him, seeing what happened.
"Always, but this won't last that long," Crystal replied, and then yelled at the people, "Listen!" This barrier may not last long, so those who know how to fight should stay and help hold them until the soldiers finish off the other side, the others go to a secluded place.
To his relief, his orders did not fall on deaf ears, and the non-combatants, although with abandon they mobilized to a secluded corner; And on the other hand, next to Crystal and Yulio there were about 5 people, who for their defense had solidified mana clubs.
"Well, I can't keep the barrier forever, so I'll make a hole to let one pass," Crystal explained with her eyes fixed on the barrier, but who would think that one of them would do the opposite.

"Hey, it wasn't that you made a wall that stopped a monster horde because you can't handle this."
"Idiot, that was an arrangement that took weeks, I'm keeping this directly with my mana, now shut up and do what I tell you, there you go one" Crystal shut his mouth to immediately let the first terrorist pass and then close the hole.
What happened to this was obvious since, among the 6 including Yulio, they gave him a beating resulting in his death.
So far the plan was fine, but unlike monsters, humans are clever, and Crystal once again made a hole to make them pass, they did not take the bait.
"Well, they're not stupid," Crystal analyzed and then asked, "can some of you throw fire?"
Faced with this question, two of the men agreed, but one who assumed what they were going to order intervened.
"Hey, you're crazy, if we make a fire we can set the palace on fire."
"Shut up, I'll take responsibility if that's what scares you, so do what I tell you, or you want these idiots to kill some," Crystal scolded him, obtaining his approval.
What happened next is that the 2 men prepared their spells a little secretly so that the terrorists would not notice, and when they were ready, both ran to the barrier with a club in their hands as a decoy, and, when they reached the barrier, they stuck their palm into a hole that Katiuscria had made, through which they expelled a flare that reached them all without mercy, killing almost all of them.
The rest that remained alive, was dying and it was not worth worrying about them.
Having defeated the terrorists, Crystal along with Yulio and the other men, after they extinguished the remaining flames, set out to guide the civilians out of the palace, which they could achieve without inconvenience, which is why Crystal scoff when she and Yulio were going back.

"These assholes, how can they sneak up here with just these non-wizarding men."
"I don't know, maybe security was bad, and they're good at fighting," Yulio reasoned.
"Umm, very unlikely, the royal guards are not toys and there are various arrangements in the palace remember."
"Umm well, they said they are on Queryn's side, maybe he opened the doors for them since he lived here.
"Maybe, well we'll see, if they inform us after all this is the jurisdiction of the crown" Crystal concluded at this point, so as not to give back to something that does not have much information.
"By the way tell me, why are we going back, and my family and the others are fine, Yuster would be missing," Yulio asked.
At this point, Crystal stopped in her tracks thoughtful, Yulio following worriedly.
"Umm, I don't know, I suppose that the heat of the moment, also if you think about it, it is not better to contribute to earning more benefits, since it seems that this king is not an idiot like his brother, another thing is to help Yuster" Crystal commented, which Yulio accepted without giving it too much back.
But in this extra search for benefits, it was a bit in vain, since when they arrived, the soldiers together with Yuster and even King Leryn had finished the job, with only some casualties from some anonymous soldiers, the young couple arriving just in time to see how the bodies were collected, and thus, concluding this event that ended the elegant party.
