My name is hector and my story begins now..

My name is Hector, 21 years old, 1m85, brown hair with a " peaky blinder " cut, bronzed skin, emerald green eyes and an athletic look, little shy if I don't know the person and have an opened mind. I am an average student, bored with classes like most students, I am surrounded by my 5 best friends Ariana, Cassandra, Priame, Brendon and Paco.

You will surely wonder why I do not talk about my family? Quite simply because from the age of 5 my parent die and I still don't know how, so I was put in an orphanage.

" My name is Hector and i am alone because this is how I have always lived ".

Arianna was a little surprised by my answer.

After 30 seconds of reflection I followed her.

I was often laughed at but being tall and muscular enough i was never physically harassed that’s why I followed her knowing that no one would try to hurt me, what could I lose by following her apart my time or some mockery... while we walked she asked me questions about me such as my hobbies, my family etc...

After hearing the word family, a tear was droping along my cheek, reminding me of the sadness of the loneliness I have felt since I was a child.

Seeing the tear on my face, Arianna apologized.

" If you don’t want to tell me more about yourself, I won’t go on, you’ll tell me later when you will trust us. " Followed by a big and warm smile.

I had a small warm feeling in my heart for the first time in my life and simply noded at her. " This personnes is really interressed by me ?" No matter, those words where nice to hear.

After 5 minutes of walking, we arrived, 4 people were sitting on a bench and stared at me, I'm almost sure that there were mocking me..

" hey guys I'm back, on my way to find you I saw this young fellow alone, you know me well I can't let anyone stay alone and be sad so I bring him with me, his name is Hector and he is in our class "

what just happened ? she introduce me to other ? they don't want to laughed at me ? is this a bad joke to make me hope..

With a suspicious look I introduced myself.

" hi, my name is Hector pleased to met you. "

To my surprise, these people immediately smiled at me and presented themselves one by one.

" Hi, I'm Cassandra nice to meet you. "

She is a average sized girl, short red hair, black sexy destructive eyes, rond glasses, quite well build, dressed with a red and white dress, she was looking like a crimson emperess, she was the 3rd beauty of the school even if she wasn't in the highest class.

" Hello my name is Priame ! "

This girl is a very high energetic person always at 200% no matter what she do in her life, small but not to the point of having to climb on a chair to talk to people, black skin, light brown eyes, white long hair, dress with a black tank top and a small white skirt attractive but not as much as Cassandra.

" I'm Brendon. "

He is a good looking guy, high sportive physic, quite tall around 1m95, looking confident (maybe too much ?), black eyes, brown short hair, dress like a sport teacher.

" Yo, I'm Paco. "

He is looking like the inteligent guy from the group, not tall but not small either, glasses, light blue eyes, black semi-long hair, a book in the hand and dress in a common way so jean and t-shirt.

These people are warm and friendly as no one has ever been with me once I felt a gentle warmth in my heart, but always suspicious of something I remained on the defensive.

After staying with these people the rest of the day not knowing what to say while they were talking, I began to observe them, so I began to spot their character traits.

For example Brendon was very confident at the limit of arrogance, often talking about anecdotes about his sporting life boasting of his prowess.

Arianna was a bit shy on certain topics like for example when they started talking about love, her cheeks started to blush it was cute to see and with her Swedish angel face she was really charming.

Paco was quite distant always with his head in his book and rarely took part in the conversation of the group.

Unfortunately for the moment I can only tell you that after having spent only a few hours with them, in any case I can tell you that they are nice and at no time did they mock me and this really surprised me. When it was time to go home Arianna smiled joyfully at me.

" I’ll see you tomorrow, hoping we’ll hear you speak as you have a beautiful voice " Then she turned quickly with her blushing cheeks.

As time past I started to know them more and more, to open up and talk to them about my childhood, I have finally found friends who do not make fun of me but on the contrary help me and defend me in case of problems with a student and since then we hang out and go in party and it continues still today.

We were all 5 together in the boys university dorm, in our room lying on the beds talking about everything and nothing, when suddenly a voice appeared in my head.

" You thought you were alone ? That this planet belongs to you ? That you are the pinnacle of existence. ? "

Surprised I look at everyone thinking it was a joke from Brendon but when I saw him he was as shocked as me, as were the others, all together in perfect sync.

" You heard that too ? "

The games of surprised looks continued for several seconds before I said smiling.

" If it wasn't you, who else could have done that.. you cant fool me, well anyway let just make it like nothing happened. "

Everyone noded and start chatting again, one topic was about Brendon's girlfriend, her name was Jessica and they started a relationship 2 month ago so we asked him how is relation was going how far they’ve gone ( if you know what I mean little perv ), but Brendon blushing red like a tomato, didn't want to answer thoose stupid question and find soon another subject.

" And you guys Arianna and Hector what about you ? " With a big big smile on his face looking towards Arianna and me.

As soon as Brendon said that my cheeck began to be more red than red itself and my body was feeling hot as I was ashamed and wanted to hide behind a wall and disapear for ever, but I looked at Arianna and saw her even worth than me and we all began to laugh.

" Not your buisness Brendon. " I said firmly with a big smile but still wanted to hide, Arianna was looking at me so I smile timidly at her.

It was almost time for diner so we prepared but guess what.. The stupid voice appeared again but this time it was very loud and very oppresing like if some powerfull aura was in front of you and you could only kneel and fear it.

" YOU ARE JUST A BUNCH OF ANTS FOR ME, KNEEL AND LOWER YOUR EYES IN FRONT OF THE SUPREME RULER. "

This is the second time we hear the voice, but this time it was clear that it wasn't a Brendon joke as fear arose in our eyes. How can this guy talk in our head ? Was this a joke from the gouvernement ? Was it a test of a new military weapon ?.. So much question I could think of but yeah.. I had 0 answer. This time we went close to each other with fear in our eyes not daring to talk, Arianna hold tight my arms, it was really a hard grip that it blocked my blood circulation, I try to speak to it.

" Who are you what do you want from us ? is this a joke from the military ? "

But as espected nobody replyed to it as if i was talking in the wind.

Everyone looked at me like i was crazy..

" Eh ? Do you think he/she will reply to you if it could talk in our mind and called himself a supreme ruler ? " Paco said.

" Well at least I can try, it will not kill me .. "

Suddently the voice speak again but this time with a little amused tone

" I'm so bored, stupid insignificant ants, I want to be entertained, I want to see you struggle in your life, you always seems so sure of you, that's why I decided to transform 90 % of your civilisation and made them flesh eating zombie, removing every building, every vehicles etc.. you have created so far, starting from scratch with only your will to survive like your old ancestor did in the past, but do not worry little ants I'm a really generous ultimate ruler I will give you something in exchange to help you to survive through this marvelous new world ! The new world for you ants will start in 12 hours.. At 8.00 AM tomorow.. 2 Minutes after this, Cassandra take her phone and start calling her parents.

With her shaking voice..

" Hi m..mom, it's m..me your Cassy, something j..just happen I heared a..a strange voice in my head as well as my friend.. wanted to ch..check if this happen also to y..you ? "

" Cassy, I hear it also.. but don't worry I'm pretty sure it was a joke from a new military weapon.. but just to be sure stay in your room with your friend tomorow. Love you need to pick up your sister at her school. "

Her mother just hang up like this, a shocked appear face on Cassandra..

I went to the window just to check if everything was normal in the street, but what I saw was just.. the beginning of a doomed world, car crash or in fire, people start to rob market, find some running with toilet paper in their arms, I would have found this funny in other circumstances, Another guy was running with a TV on his back, well, everyone as their priority I guess. But the thing that shooked me the most was a plane, it was going down really fast, and then..

BOOOOM !!

A huge sound, shocked everyone in the room come and check through the window and what they see was only.. Doom.

How can such a thing appear so sudently and make everyone go crazy like this, is this the mentality of human ? looking only for himself.

Brendon with a leader tone.

2 Hours just past like it was only 5 minutes..

" I think it's better if wee just go to sleep we are all looking tired, we have 4 bed so I will sleep with Brendon so you girls will have 1 bed for you alone. "

We went all in the bed ready to sleep but as soon as we were ready to slep

"Hecty c..can you come s..sleep with me I'm so scared.. "

Arianna wasn't blushing so I know it was not a joke but she was scared as hell for real. I stared at her ankwardly, turn and look Brendon was noding is head. So just like that Arianna and I where sleeping in the same bed, I was really not confident and was a little bit sweating but hey don't get me wrong here I don't want to do anything I see you coming, while sleeping she once again grip my harm really hard but was normal I would have done the same for anyone but I feel lucky it was her, her really cute Swedish face really comfort me and just like that I fell asleep.

At around 7.50 AM we wake up as Cassandra put an alarm, we wake up slowly, Arianna look at me blushing while she realized that she just slept with me but it was really comfortable so she didn't really mind, we eat each one bar of chocolat and drink some water since we didn't have milk, tea or coffee.

Slowly the clock was ticking it was already 7.57 AM, fear and tear begin to appear on our face, not daring to go look through the window because we know it will be really bad looking outside.

At 7.59 AM we stared at each other holding our hand praying this was a stupid joke or even a dream..

But soon the clock show 10 seconde left until 8.00 AM..
