Finally freeing himself from the sweet hell he was experiencing, Theo sat on the couch that held the blanket and pillow Vanessa previously talked about. The luxurious couch was quite comfortable, a lot more than the hard bed he woke up on in fact. The old man was indeed strange for preferring that bed.

Although he didn’t know what the time was, it was already pitch black, so he lay down on the sofa and covered himself with the blanket. He had no intention of sleeping, however, as he had a lot he still had to do.

Firstly, he did something he probably should’ve done a long time ago.

“System” He whispered, although it was possible to execute the command in his mind, he said it out loud anyway, maybe just to fulfill what was every nerd’s dream.

A panel appeared, but this one wasn’t white-rimmed, nor did it materialize inside of his mind. Rather, it was a blue panel that appeared before his eyes.

It was the system panel that every sentient creature in this realm could recognize. His level was now 7 instead of 5 as he gathered from the memories, obviously because of the experience obtained from a level 14 beast. What was strange though was that his blood consumption increased by 2 levels, Fast feet by 1, and his stealth proficiency by whole 3 levels, something that shouldn’t be possible to achieve within one day, let alone 2 hours.

Attributing it to the instinct he gained from the artifact, he decided to move on to the more powerful system, and also the one that gave him a lot more trouble.

‘El, I think it’s time we go over everything to avoid any further unwanted situations.’

‘Ok… I guess I can skip the first two since we already discussed them, also, I’m only going to give you a general explanation of them, since you don’t know how the world’s system of power works and it would be futile to try to explain to you in detail.

Another thing is that the strength of constitutions also depends on your comprehension of them, and forget comprehension, you haven’t even unlocked their base forms, to put it in perspective, if they were skills, they would be at lvl0 when unsealed.

That also means that I don’t have full information about them, most of the information I can gather about them is by how they influence your body, so don’t blame me if something I haven’t expected happens in the future.’

‘Wait a moment, you already said that about the moon constitution in the forest, but what does that mean exactly, it’s not like I can just light up like a Christmas tree, right?’ Theo interrupted her.

‘I don’t know what a Christmas tree is, but it’s not rare for the world to make constitutions from common concepts, especially that of celestial ones which are present in most realms. It would be hard to find a realm without a sun, moon, and stars for that matter, as they are deeply ingrained into the intent of the world. The sun is just a concept that embodies heat, light, and life, and is a catalyst to form new life on most developing planets.’

‘That’s strange, but continue.’ The only sun that he knew up until now, was the giant burning flob of gas that was coincidently just close enough to Earth to help it develop, yet far enough not to fry every living being on it.

‘As I was saying, this constitution gives you properties of the sun and is derived from the Primordial Solar Constitution. Although I have never heard of your constitution before, probably because it was artificially created by the system, I have heard of the Primordial Solar Constitution. I don’t know too much about it, but it is supposed to be one of the greatest sun-based constitutions to exist.

As for the effects, since it's sealed, you only gained the passive effects of the constitution. Even though high-grade constitutions normally come equipped with some sort of legacies or special powers, I don’t know if you’ll gain any of that before it’s unsealed.

Since it’s a sun construction, the effects aren’t that surprising. You gained affinity and increased talent in solar, fire, light, life, and yang laws, as well as increased comprehension of destructive and regenerative arts. Those are just the most noticeable effects, but, if it’s something that has any similarities with the intent of sun whatsoever, you have talent for it.

The only strange thing is that it especially focused on your yang, which can probably be attributed to the corrupted processing unit, I would say that while you might find somebody with stronger yang, you definitely won’t find anyone with yang as pure and potent as yours, at least not in the lower plain.’

‘Lower plain, so there are multiple plains?’ Theo asked in curiosity.

‘Obviously, the number of plains, which are sometimes also called layers, depends on the strength of a certain realm. You were transported in the lowest of layers in every realm though, most likely because the skill you used was still lvl0.’

‘Hmmm, ok, that’s interesting. But I probably shouldn’t concern myself with all of this for now. Is that all for the sun constitution, or is there more?’

‘No, that’s generally it. As I’ve already told you, constitutions are meant to be more of a foundation for one’s growth, rather than some crazy abilities, so a vast majority of them just offer an increase of talent in a certain field, while others offer some special properties to their users. You will probably get the idea after I go through all of them.’

As she saw Theo didn’t have any additional questions, she continued.

‘Since I explained the sun constitution, it would probably be for the best to get the moon one out of the way. It gives you an increase of talent in water, ice, darkness, illusion, and yin laws, as well as increased comprehension of techniques that are based on copying and concealing.

As it was with the previous constitution, this one also focused on the yin aspect quite heavily, which resulted in you producing natural yin, which is normally only possible for females, although yours is fundamentally different from the female version of yin.

This constitution was made to balance out your sun constitution. While yang represents positivity, light, masculinity, etc. the high quality and purity would’ve probably overwhelmed your body, which would, in turn, transform you into something more like a gorilla. The natural production of yin counters the yang and achieves an equilibrium, but at the same time, if you got the moon constitution without the sun one, you would have probably become a sissy if not straight up turn into a woman.’
