《Systematic Supremacy》15. Old man

‘Theo, are you okay?!’ Eileen's voice sounded in his mind at the same time as the world stopped trembling, concern clear from her tone.
‘Yea, what was that?’
‘This isn’t supposed to be happening, no, this shouldn’t even be able to happen!’
‘El. Details.’
‘I don’t know how this is possible, but you unlocked constitutions way above what this realm is capable of handling, I’m not even sure if such constitutions should be able to appear at such an early stage of an epoch. Thankfully the system acted quickly, or I can’t even imagine what would’ve happened.’
‘Is there still anything I should be worried about?’ Although he understood that he just obtained something world-breaking, he also knew that something of that magnitude will definitely bring great attention to himself, attention that he couldn’t afford for now.
‘I don’t know. There is no way that anybody missed what happened, but whether they can figure out where it came from or what it was is very unlikely since the system covered for you, the only uncertainty is the member of my clan that resides in this realm, but even then, I believe that the probability of being discovered is very low.’
‘Do you know how to leave this realm, if so, we can just escape, no?’
‘Yes, you have free access to any realm you’ve been in before, you just have to contact me or personally use that skill.’
‘Can I get any more information on what happened to my body and what those constitutions are, in fact, I don’t even clearly know what a constitution is.’ Theo said as he clenched his fist, clearly unaccustomed to the power it now held.
‘Oh, a constitution is more or less a gift an individual with great talent can be given at birth. The constitution an individual is given usually matches either their personality or their abilities, but it’s still debated whether the constitution shapes the person's personality and abilities to match itself, or if a constitution is given based on the personality and abilities of the individual.

What you went through is almost unheard of though, as, unlike physiques, constitutions are almost exclusive to birth and impossible to gain otherwise.’
‘What is the difference between a constitution and a physique then?’
‘Well, constitutions are solely dependent on the individual and given by the world, while physiques are unique traits developed by the body that are usually hereditary. Although a physique isn’t necessarily weaker than a constitution, it has a lot more limits and is also a lot less rare.’
‘Ok, I think I get the idea, so what’s the deal with my constitutions?’
‘The ‘deal’ is that they shouldn’t exist, at least not at this point in time. As the world grows, it also becomes capable to give out stronger constitutions, if not for the system, I would have no clue what they even are.’ Sain Eileen exasperatedly.
‘So, what are they?’
‘I think it's better if I tell you the process of how the system formed them.’ She sighed and continued.
‘At first, it took a template of that dirty guy’s constitutions, five of them in fact… I mean what a monster, do you realize how rare it is to have just two constitutions?’
‘No.’
‘Anyways, I’m getting sidetracked.’
‘You are indeed.’
‘Do you want me to continue or not?’ Eileen said while puffing her cheeks.
‘Sorry, go ahead.’
‘Where was I? Oh, right. So, basically, the system took his 5 constitutions as a template and made, well, better versions of them, don’t ask me how. The last three constitutions are its way to balance out your body in order for you to not go crazy or immediately implode.’
‘Implode?’ A slight frown appeared on Theo’s face.
‘Well, maybe, but it’s definitely not impossible. While not all of that guy's constitutions were bad necessarily, two of them were definitely on the evil side and the other three complimented them nicely, so in order to not twist who you are completely, the system decided to intervene.’

‘Why did it give me those five constitutions in the first place then? Wouldn’t it be safer to just give me something else?’
‘Hell if know, but creating something from scratch is definitely a lot more difficult than just making a better version of something you already know, so that’s most likely the reason. But you don’t have to worry about that now, all the constitutions are balanced and sealed, so you’re safe.’
‘Oh right, sealed. I guess being too overpowered is also a thing.’ Theo sighed somewhat dejectedly.
‘It’s not all bad, while they were sealed that doesn’t mean that you have no way to make use of them. There are only sealed up to a safe level as to not endanger you or this realm.’
‘Really?’ At least there was some good that came out of all of this conundrum.
‘Can you tell me more about the constitutions’ functions, I don’t want any more surprises.’ Theo continued
‘Yea, let me check them out real quick, I didn’t get the chance to properly inspect them yet.’
Silence ensued, but not for long as Eileen quickly started producing a plethora of weird noises. Most of them were that of surprise, some pleasant while others not so much. Her actions started to worry Theo a little, but he didn’t have time to dwell on it as the door to the small room opened with a bang.
“Boy, are you okay?” A big and muscular old man entered the room with a disheveled head of long grey hair and a beard that matched it. He was topless and only wore old and dirty pants, yet the massive amount of muscles residing under his tanned skin stole one's attention away from that. His stature clearly conflicted with his wrinkled face, and he gave of an imposing aura.
As he took a look at Theo, his eyes slightly narrowed with a glint of suspicion which escaped Theo’s sight, but the man’s face quickly returned back to normal as if it never happened.

Raak
James was in his 30's when his death came suddenly, not that he minded much, as life was seeming to drag on. His story, however, did not end with his death. As a point of fact, it had only just begun. This will be my first work, so please by all means comment with any errors I may have made. Suggestions for the story (which may or may not be used). This is a litrpg and a bit of a power fantasy, so be warned the protagonist will be pretty OP eventually.
