The subconscious walked towards him, and Lixon saw him hugged his body and disappeared. After that, the cave returned to its tranquility. The young man's eyes were closed for a moment, then opened it after a while. The eyes of Lixon turned emotionless while looking at the open book. He waved his hand and from nothingness appeared a quill. He grabbed it and started to write the following lines:
"Is it painful?"
"What?" The kid replied with a confused look.
"Aren't those chains bounding you to this place?"
Topaz crossed his arms and peeked towards Damien; the latter shrugged his shoulder, indicating he didn't know what was happening.
"That's right. The grudges of those souls and those that could not have peace are bounding me to this place." He explained.
Topaz then continued, "That is why Damien is helping me on sending those souls to peace."
All of them heard the young man lightly chuckled then, in a hypnotic voice, spoke.
"Do you want me to send many of them at once?"

Far from the center of galactic civilization, The Palmyr Century was isolated enough to get advanced word of The Macro invasion. The Palmyr was able to close it’s Mirror Maze gateways to the rest of the Consortia and walled off i’s populated worlds from the threat of The Macros. For more than two hundred and fifty years this protection stood, until it was breached by Althea Ram. Althea Ram, born on the planet Emerald in Palmyr Century was Trinary coding prodigy. This skill lead her to be recruited by a group, the ZAT, an organization engaged in illegal research into Macro code. When found out, the ZAT was eliminated on orders of The First Centurion. Althea escaped with her newly created AI, Dorian. A fugitive, she found herself betrayed time and time again. Ultimately she joined a group organized by the Rian telepath Shirae Valerian. Shirae made a deal with Althea for her own reasons and provided her with a Mirror Port which would allow her to reach the Lost Worlds outside The Palmyr. While she is driven to discover the secrets of The Macros, Althea is still drawn back to The Palmyr by the unfinished business that has defined her. The Promethead is her story. And inside the Undeniable Labyrinth is where the journey begins.

Twenty years after the start of the new millenium, the world was largely at peace. Crime was at an all-time low in most nations. No large scale conflicts between countries currently existed, and the people of Earth had even begun to see hope for the future. In the year 2020, all of that changed. The first occurrences of the interdimensional reality altering zones occurred. Named 'Dungeons' these supernatural and alien existences unleashed monsters and mayhem upon the world. Only after considerable loss of life and adaptation to the new world order did people begin to rally back. The discovery of a strange artificact item in one of the dungeons allowed humanity to develop powers far beyond their wildest imagination. This device worked on principles considered to be impossible. It was not the only one. Items of super-science and magic were discovered inside the dungeons of the world that could not possibly work according to the known laws of physics. Yet, they did. A special school was built to train young people so that they could specialize in dungeon exploration, in the defeat of monsters and the acquisition of the Impossible Devices.
