《The Immortalai》The Dying City

Reinholm has been thrown into chaos by the outbreak of the disease made by Onikerm. Multiple districts have been emptied to put infected individuals in thousands have died in a matter of days averaging five thousand this day and quickly rising by thousands every day. Guards are commonly using barriers on infected individuals though often dont do it fast enough leading to a shortage of guards over the past days. Reinlas is looking over a map of the city picking more districts to be emptied for infected people to live in. Linra walks in.
"Reinlas the Tykema have been searching around and identified multiple agents sent from Keireens kingdom they've killed themselves within the homes they had stayed in with soem signs of early decay. Scans revealed they had what is afflicting the city in them as well" Linra says
"We had already expected Keireen sent this plague in but now its more than confirmed. Anythign found within the houses that could help us find a way to save people?" Reinlas asks looking at her
"Currently? No" Linra says
Reinlas sighs in annoyance.
"Fuck!" Reinlas shouts angrily
Laraka teleports into the room and sighs in relief.
"Renamerima castle has been locked down now too, some of the elites got infected so now we are out of commision till we find everyone with no infection" Laraka says
"You're not infected are you?" Reinlas asks
"No, already scanned myself fifty times before teleporting here" Laraka says
"Good" Reinlas says
"Has Farenhale returned yet?" Laraka asks
"No, most of the war beasts are either not able to merge for some reason and those that had in the past like Syremai, Kytal and Dykrama cant use their magic yet to be able to merge. Right now we have to rely on current healers researching this" Reinlas says

Laraka nods and walks out as Reinlas teleports to just outside the potion room of the castle, Reinlas teleports his armour on and seals every opening in it with barriers and puts more barriers around himself as he limps into the room. A healer walks over to Reinlas.
"My King we dont have any developments currently, we only have the knowledge that the base of this is Poison claw venom but whatever else is in it we dont have a clue" The healer says
"Better than nothing. Any theories so far?" Reinlas asks
"Currently we can only guess the decay not only damages the body but also the soul like the base venom does this is why it decays a person so incredibly fast. As to if theres any theories about what else makes up the disease we have no idea, Onikerm is wildly smart but also so crazy it could be anything or something we dont even know about" The healer says
"Alright, keep working, im sure you'll get something soon" Reinlas says
The healer nods and gets back to work as Reinlas looks around and then limps out of the room teleporting his armour off afterwards. Reinlas then takes down the barriers around himself. Syremai appears above Reinlas who immediately looks up to him.
"You have enough magic to disappear and appear yet not try and merge?" Reinlas asks slightly frustrated
"Hey I know this is a tense time plus me and the other tykema dont explain how our abilities work but the appearing and disappearing isnt magic" Syremai says
Reinlas sighs.
"Sorry, the stress is getting to me" Reinlas says
"Don't blame you. The tykema have been scared shitless about getting this disease but so far nothing" Syremai says
"Think you and them are immune?" Reinlas asks

"I dont know nor am I willing to test it" Syremai says
"I dont blame you Syremai, I wouldnt want to get near that myself without some protection" Reinlas says
"Indeed, oh yeah I came here to say that the Hykra are trying to find anything on the disease themselves, given their intelligence im hoping it'll bear fruit though their paws do limit their testing so some tykema have started to help them" Syremai says
"Alright ill go to their district soon and see if they have anything yet"
"Alright, anyway see ya" Syremai disappears
Reinlas teleports his armour on again sealing it and putting up his barriers again then teleports to the Hykra district. Reinlas looks around before Kytal walks to him.
"Came to see if anythings been found yet?" Kytal asks
"Indeed" Reinlas says
"well war beasts are immune we found that out not long ago, I hadnt told syremai yet so thats why he didnt tell you" Kytal says
"How'd you find it out?" Reinlas asks
"Blood testing and captured parts of the disease, it attacked immortalai blood and magic that was a test area while it completely ignored our bloods" Kytal says
"Well good for you, though this is definitely proving difficult to continue hearing about" Reinlas says
"Understandable. We still dont know much other than we war beasts are immune afterall none of us were made to deal with diseases. Ok Tykema were made to make potions for poisons and stuff so that helps but this is above them, hykra and tykema working together on this is necessary but it is still proving difficult" Kytal says
"Anyway to get some kind of cure using the war beasts blood?" Reinlas asks
"Undetermined" Kytal says
"We really fucking need Farenhale" Reinlas says
"indeed. Actually can you reach the shadows in Keireens kingdom?" Kytal asks
"Possibly? Though if you're asking if I can find the place this disease was made using the shadows to explore it may not be the best idea the chances of it going through the shadows is too great if it did chances are if I or my children dont notice it everything dies" Reinlas says
"I was thinking if spies could locate the place its in they could sneak in through you. Without Farenhale its our quickest way" Kytal says
Reinlas sighs.
"Ill have the Tykema begin to search" Reinlas says
Syremai appears next to them with hsi wings wrapped around himself.
"Already got them searching, currently we're trying to trace people that were taken away by guards for seemingly nothing" Syremai says before disappearing
Over in Keireens kingdom...
The Tykema Syremai sent sneak into Keireens capital unseen by the guards. The Tykema stay that way as they position themselves around the city watching for guards to take people away for little to no reason, it doesnt take long before they each find a target group of guards to follow hoping against hope that it will lead to the facility the disease was made in. Ratankira senses them getting ready to hunt them down before they can find the facility...

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Trying to discover his place in the world, Jerry will live great adventures. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. If you're looking for another fun, action-packed adventure, check out Cultivator vs. System by yours truly, available on Kindle, KU, and Audible. But read Good Guy Necromancer first.
