《The Immortalai》The Field of Corpses

Onikerms escape the previous day has caused many annoyance, loss of life and the destruction of property causing many to be annoyed with the escape overall with their only comfort being that Scyera may yet know something due to her mind control. Reinlas, Linra, Gheranto and Itimkrata sit in the living room of Scyera and Lierans house with them sitting opposite them. Scyera is holding Lierans hand as she looks at the first generation members and Linra before them.
"I can guess as to why you're here, before you ask I'll jsut tell you. Onikerms head is as fucked up as you'd imagine it to be hell probably worse than even that, though moving though what I can remember from there. I could see some memories intact enough and not corrupted by his view enough to actually make sense of." Scyera says
"What are they?" Linra asks
"Some battle plan meetings with Keireen and Ratankira, relatively recent I think. Drew them up last night when I couldnt sleep, they are on the stand in the corner next to the door. some conversations were also able to be seen, something about new experiments, Keireens light and Lord Farenhale, they werent as connected as I made them sound like there. Apologies" Scyera says
"Tell me about the ones involving my brother" Reinlas says
"Alright. as far as I could tell some of the experiments that Onikerm does for Keireen such as the ones involving souls mainly seem to be based off of theory work from Lord Farenhale, some things that Lord Farenhale apparently had in the Valley city's castle where he worked." Scyera says
Reinlas sighs not in annoyance but because he expected nothing less.
"Bastards use his work on his soul and others, work meant for the betterment of our people for evil, yet another thing they will pay for" Reinals says
"Indeed, though hearing about the light magic would be wonderful" Itimkrata says
"Onikerm didnt know much, just that it came from Yaiteras blood and that it was from what Onikerm had been able to research a good counter to the shadows for obvious reasons, though he did make the vague comment that supplying shadows with magic that makes light in small ways could help strengthen them at the cost of obviously more magic" Scyera says

"So, fire magic is an obvious one, luckily its my main magic so not too much more magic spent" Reinlas says
"Indeed though the prince and princess arent as lucky" Lieran says
"Indeed" Reinlas says as the thoughts of Farenisle and Liara getting injured by Keireen go through his mind
"Any idea what Onikerm is doing next in those experiments of his?" Gheranto asks
"Closest idea I have is that hes trying to unlock magic for those without it again using theory work from Lord Farenhale" Scyera says
"Fucker better not figure it out, we wouldnt be able to hold off that force for long" Reinlas says
"Indeed" Everyone says uncomfortable from the prospect
"The only other piece of information I have is that while onikerm escaped he took something, I dont know what though, my mind couldnt process the memories he was currently making" Scyera says
"I'll have people search for what could be missing but that could take months if not longer" Reinlas says
"Indeed" Linra says
"Well we'd best get going then" Reinlas says as he gets up with Linra and they teleport away but Gheranto and Itimkrata stay sitting
"Did you have further questions?" Lieran asks
"Yes, during the fight with you we noticed some things just seemed all to familiar, your scythe, name and the names on your scythe. From which kingdom do you come from?" Itimkrata asks
"Well given you remember the names I think its a moot point. Lieran and I come from the kingdom you two both ruled oh so long ago, My parents where your heads of the royal guard" Scyera says
"We are so sorry, they died bravely and even though they didnt need to they kept fighting even after pretty much all of our land had been taken. An offence that would result in exile had they not died" Gheranto says
"They never would have allowed themselves to fight for Keireen in any way even if it meant death, I should hold it against them but I dont given I had to fight for him I knwo why they didnt want to" Scyera says
"The battlefield where all the bodies, armour and weapons of that final battle are still remains untouched for the most part. Maybe we shoudl take some force and bury the people there. Let the dead of that kingdoms final battle finally rest physically and in our minds" Lieran says

"That sounds like a fine idea" Itimkrata says
"Guess we'll need to get permission to get some forces to secure the area" Gheranto says
"Not really, me and Lieran are apart of the elite warriors so we have certain authority over the regular army so we can just order some to come with us" Scyera says
"Oh thats perfect" Itimkrata says as they all get up and teleport to a nearby army facility
Lieran and Scyera quickly order some platoons to gather and get some war beasts as well so they can secure the area. After about an hour of preparation scyera makes the msit appear around them all and to the old battlefield as soldiers walk into the mist they get teleported through it to the battlefield and quickly set up in position and some devise into groups to patrol the area. Scyera and Lieran come through with Gheranto and Itimkrata. Itimkrata quickly starts to make golems to help with the process of burying the thousands of bodies as Scyera gets rid of her mist and starts to walk through the old battlefield with Lieran. Scyera sees a scythe laying in the distance and walks over to it pickign it up when she gets there, its rusted to hell, broken in some places and heavier than her own scythe but she recognises it.
"Its my mothers scythe..." Scyera whispers to herself
Gheranto walks over as he saw the scythe as well.
"They didnt die here but her scythe was lost in the battle, they died more towards the north in the mountains sadly we couldnt bury them as when we came back to do so their bodies were taken to around here, where exactly I dont know. I do know that when they died your father did lose his arm, if that was found chances are you could find the rest of him and possibly your mother as well. Dark I know but probably your best shot unless you use time magic" Gheranto says
"Ill find them, I need to" Scyera says
Gheranto nods and walks away. Scyera makes the msit appear around herself and she pets Krenatur.
"Start searching, I dont know if you will be able to but Id prefer this than some time magic as it will be harder to watch" Scyera says
Krenatur nods and grows wings to fly towards the mountains to start a search there. The mist around him at all times or he couldn't go. Scyera searches around the battlefield as Krenatur scours the mountains, hours pass until Krenatur finds a skeletal arm barely visible from underneath the snow piled up over the years. Krenatur grows immortalai arms out of his body to grab the arm then he flies back to Scyera. Making the mist surround her so she can see the arm. Scyera looks at the arm and takes it from Krenatur carefully when she does a brand on the skeletal hand appears with Scyeras name on it.
"Definitely fathers hand" Scyera says sadly as she quickly scans it and finds the rest of her fathers skeleton
Scyera goes over and lays the arm on the skeleton of her father and buries him and the skeleton next to him when another brand appears on that one confirming it to be her mother. Scyera lays the scythe of her mother between the graves but as she does so Itimkrata walks over.
"I believe they would have wanted you to keep it, a way of you carrying them with you till the end and a way to keep fighting" Itimkrata says
"If you think so then I will. Do you really believe it?" Scyera asks
"I do, keep it" Itimkrata says
Scyera picks up the scythe again and holds it tightly in her hands as she thinks back on times with her parents. Lieran walks over and hugs Scyera letting her reminisce with some support from her. Scyera teleports the scythe along with some money to Cykart for it to be repaired as they spend more time at the battlefield for a few days to bury everyone with the honour they deserve. Scyera looks into the mist observing a nearby city under Keireens influence.
"They'll be freed with the aid of your memory and weapons" Scyera thinks to herself as everyone begins to pack up to leave...

The Merchant Prince Book 1: Returning Home
Enter a world of deceit and assassins. Augustus DeCastellian is a member of a wealthy merchant family, with ports all over the known world. He is sent on a voyage to new lands to open trade routes, but when he returns he will need to fight, using his tools of manipulation and cunning, for what he is owed.Author's note: This story is somewhat slow-paced, especially in comparison to the norm on Royal Road. The first three chapters act almost as a prologue, to give you a feel for what the rest of the story will be like. So, I suggest new readers try to get to the end of chapter 3 before deciding if this story is for them.A few of my reviews have said that this story is abnormal for Royal Road. I agree with that sentiment, at least based on what I've read on the site. It was just an idea that was in my head, that I began trying to write once my hobbies were cancelled due to the virus. I found Royal Road after I started writing it. Honestly, it's probably not even tailored for the web-novel format. But it's the story I wanted to tell. Discord: https://discord.gg/sk63gep
8 298Meek
After failing as an apprentice cooper and a town guard, Eli finds his place at the Rockbridge archives. Sure, he's the oldest 'junior scribe,' but he likes the job. And he's good at it, too. Then he completes an apparently-insignificant project, and the brutal reaction shocks him--with consequences that eventually shake the world. Eli gains powers. Rare and inhuman abilities. He progresses slowly, steadily, and not without setbacks. He changes, too. Is he a hero, a villain, a human, a monster? Depends who you ask. Meek is an epic fantasy with elements of progression. The basic magic is simple: five Paths, each with a different powerset. However, complexity arises from combinations, and the protagonist wields a magic all his own. Meek is set in the Valley, the only (as far as anyone knows) human empire that survived a Final Battle against a terrible foe. The Valley is warded against infiltration, but the enemy learned how to warp human souls, to foment discord within. However, another soul is also ... changed. Perhaps even 'warped.' And that soul is starting on a long (long, long) path that might, one day, prove that the Final Battle wasn't so final after all.
8 281The Pokemon Ranger
Summoned from his unjust suffering in the mundane world, Spike finds himself before Arceus, who opts to send him to the world of Pokemon with the request to assist in maintaining the world's harmony. Afterwards, Arceus sends him off with the egg of a Riolu who will be his partner along the journey. Next thing he knows, he wakes up with a headache in the body of a five-year-old boy in the middle of a forest in Hoenn. Thus begins the journey of a Pokemon Ranger who will come to be feared by those hiding in the dark of the Pokemon world.____________________________________________________________Author Note:Please keep in mind that this is an AU (Alternate Universe). I will be taking aspects of the Pokemon world that I find to be the most fun and enjoyable and editing some things as I see fit. The world will contain some elements and characters from the anime, manga, and games, but it will also have some original characters and a mostly original storyline. It will not go fully grimdark like some gritty parts of the manga or some more realistic fanfictions, but also won’t be all sunshine and roses like the games. Overall, I do want to keep the story on the lighthearted side, but there will be some more serious plots as well. About 90% taking the story seriously and 10% wish fulfillment, I suppose. Note: I am also posting this fanfiction on Webnovel. No difference on release times for chapters. Also, as an update because of the people who messaged me about the multiple transmigrators, the existence of other transmigrators won't have much, if any, affect on the main plotline (or the harem if that's what those people are worried about). There will only be a handful of interactions with a few of the transmigrators during some of the more dangerous scenarios I have planned. I don't expect this to change anybody's mind, but thought it was worth mentioning. Also, I edited the first chapter to make this more obvious.Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon or speak for GameFreak, Nintendo, or Pokemon. I'm just a fan having some fun in his free time.

When he raises a baby animal, those animals become the beasts that protects the biggest cities in the world. When he does something, it's always go big or don't go at all. He doesn't have to travel around the world in order to find skills, powers, weapons, armors, potions, scrolls, pets, etc. to back up whatever he is going to do. Instead he can just give fake money to a system that others can't see and anything and anyone can be bought. This is the story of a reincarnated man and a overpowered system which gives him the power of a God and that's not just metaphorically but also literally. This is the story of Shen Zuobi, the God Of Cheat... literally. English Shen Zuobi = Chinese God Cheats.
