《The Immortalai》Two Survivors story and a Time Locked Shard

A day has passed since the mountain range was taken from Keireen and Reinlas sits on his throne with jorankra on his lap resting. He waits for the young xankan so he can hear of whats been happening with him. Reinlas pets jorankra but then he hears the throne room doors open and he looks up and sees him walking in with the aid on a woman by his side.
"Still in pain from yesterday?" Reinlas asks
"Indeed, my whole body feels like its being stabbed constantly but its felt worse" Xankan remarks
Reinlas begins to sue his own healing magic on him.
"That should help alleviate the pain and heal you up faster" Reinlas says
"Thank you King Reinlas" Xankan says with a respectful tone
Reinlas looks at the woman whos helping Xankan.
"Who are you?" Reinlas asks
"I am Nerrama, Xankans sister" Nerrama says
"Alright" Reinlas says a little surprised but gets over it
Reinlas conjures chairs for them which they sit in quickly.
"I want to know, when did you get into the army xankan and how does your village fair, I do remember Farenhale telling me your father Gragnior was the village leader" Reinlas says
Nerrama looks down and seems saddened while xankan looks at Reinlas with some sadness in his eye.
"At first our mother did well tending to the villages affairs but as the years piled on and some attacks from Keireen soldiers the stress became to much and she said she needed a while to de-stress, a week later we were attacked again, the guards were drugged, our mother was killed and the village started to burn. Nerrama here was in a state of shock so much so I had to grab her and help her run we tried to teleport or send out telepathic messages to anyone nearby who could help but the attacks had put up barriers to stop it. I decided to jsut run, I had to lose some control to kill soldiers chasing it but after awhile the pain became too much and I fell" Xankan says
"I tried to help him but I wasnt much of a fighter plus combined with the shock and grief of losing mother I couldnt even think of fighting, but we got saved by a wolf pup, little guy was without a pack but had magic which he used to save us by killing them, eventually xankan managed to move enough that we could get out of the barriers and teleport home. We returned later to hopefully get our mothers body and bury it but there was nothing left, the entire place was ash" Nerrama says

"There were no patrols nearby that could have helped?" Reinlas asks
"Our village was near the Valley city, normally most attackers didnt come to our village in big numbers on account of them not wanting to be close to the city and even our kingdoms guards dont want to be near there either for many reasons though the biggest one being-" Xankan gets cut off
"The visions that come with the area" Reinlas says
"indeed" Xankan says
"Our village was lucky enough to be close enough that most didnt want to get too near unless they were brave but also far enough that visiosn didnt happen in the village itself jsut started nto long down the road" Nerrama says
"Nerrama wondered too far from the village when she was younger she had nightmares for months" Xankan says
Nerrama seems annoyed at the fact he brought that up, Reinlas sighs and wonders what to do.
"For too long the valley city has stopped guards from doing their duties properly and allowed enemy soldiers to come here and kill people, we need a plan to make sure visions dont stop people there. Do we have anyone whos main magic is time magic? If so they could theoretically curb the time magic at the valley city" Reinlas thinks to himself
Vernamai teleports into the throne room.
"My king, you were thinking about time mages werent you?" Vernamai asks
Reinlas looks at him confused.
"Yes I was, ill take it you know one given your knowledge of that" Reinlas says
"I do indeed, my daughter is actually a time mage" Vernamai says
"Daughter? Sicne when did you have a daughter?" Reinlas asks
"Since about 15 years ago" Vernamai says
"Shes that young?" Reinlas asks
"Indeed though due to her magic being time shes very mature and her magic pool is odd, she can explain better than I" Vernamai says
Reinlas looks at Xankan and Nerrama.
"You two take it easy and rest at your home, hopefully with what I have planned what happened to your home should not happen again" Reinlas says as he gets up and Jorankra quickly climbs up to his shoulder and rests there
Xankan and Nerrama teleport away then Reinlas looks at Vernamai.
"Take me to her Vernamai, she could eb very helpful" Reinlas says
"Of coarse Reinlas" Vernamai says as he teleports with him to his house
The house is a fairly nice house seemingly built by a few people and some unique designs on the walls. Reinlas looks at it all for a minute.

"When I was getting used to my new legs still, I kept my hands busy and got quite good at building, floating and levitating helped with it, using a hammer is good for someone who cant fight at that immediate minute" Vernamai says
"Fair enough. When this war ends you need to get into construction" Reinlas says
"I plan to" Vernamai says with a smile
Vernamai walks into the house and lets Reinlas in, as Reinlas walks in He looks around and immediately sees a 15 year old girl looking over what seems to be the timeline in the way Farenhale showed Reinlas years ago.
"My daughter is not hard to spot especially when looking at that" Vernamai says
The girl turns her attention away from the timeline and looks at them and smiles.
"Father! and king Reinlas" The girl gets up looking at them
"Hello, its a pleasure to meet you. What is your name?" Reinlas asks
"I am Villamire" Villamire says
"Keeping up with names starting with V huh?" Reinlas says as he looks at Vernamai slightly amused
"Thought of the name, liked it and it just fit but yes I am keeping up with names starting with V" Vernamai says
Reinlas looks back at Villamire.
"Do you already know what I want you to do?" Reinlas asks
"No, I didnt want to spoil myself on what it was though if you want to skip an explanation I could" Villamire says
"No its fine plus it gives me the chance to have a face to face talk with you" Reinlas says
"Fair enough" Villamire says
"Pretty much I want you to be stationed at the valley city, I presume you know of the weird presence of time magic there causing people to see the day the war started. I expect someone whose main magic is time magic could keep the time magic there under control so people can patrol around there and nearby villages without seeing the horrors from there" Reinlas says
"I mean it could work, it is pure time magic around the area, an anomaly for sure and deeply routed in that day, I could probably stop people from seeing it" Villamire says
"You want to try?" Reinlas asks
"Yes" Villamire says with an enthusiastic tone
"Very well" Reinlas says as he teleports with them to the valley city
Vernamai and Villamire take a minute to look around first, the sight seems to be a shock to vernamai but not as much to Villamire.
"I'll take it you have seen this place before Villamire" Reinlas says
"I have indeed, dont look through the timeline without looking at one of the biggest things in our history even if its horrifying, thats partly why I'm not afraid to be here" Villamire says
"Quickly see if you can control the time magic here before we all see it again or for Vernamai the first time" Reinlas says
"Right" Villamire says as what appear to be clocks appear in Villamires eyes and she focuses on time around her
Villamire makes the timeline appear around herself and begins scanning the time magic around her. Reinlas looks around and begisn to count down till the time it usually starts after arrival and he seems to get more nervous as he gets closer to zero but soon enough he hits zero and nothing happens. Reinlas looks at Villamire.
"You actually did it?" Reinlas asks
"Yes though it is no easy task, it seemed when Lord Farenhales soul shattered here a peice where time magic was made and stored in remained here not found by Keireen or his lackeys, it cannot leave without the rest so it stays here and shows the final day. Its rather fascinating" Villamire says
"How did I never sense that? I have been here many times over the years" Reinlas says
"Simply put, it needs a powerful time magic user, you are powerful with it but not like he was or how main magic users are. It wasnt his main magic thats well known but he did discover it so he was jsut as powerful with it though not reliant I'd guess" Villamire says
"No he definitely wasnt reliant on it... anyway lets not dwell on him not now. I will have soldiers be stationed here with you that can help you should Keireens soldiers try to make their way through here or if you need more magic" Reinlas says
"I will do my best here king Reinlas... Oh wait I forgot to mention, Keireen will try attacking the mountain range in 3 years, all I can really say or else time changes" Villamire says
"Thanks Villamire" Reinlas says and looks at vernamai
"Tell Laraka that if there are any elite patrols coming through here, you're on them" Reinlas says
"Of coarse Reinlas" Vernamai says and teleports away
Reinlas telepathically orders squads of soldiers to come to the valley city to help Villamire as he thinks on the battle hes been warned about...

The boy who fell in love with a tree
This is a story about a boy who fell in love with a tree… A story about powerful people changing the rulebook to stack the odds and line their pockets… I aim to create a story that will transport us so we get a glimpse of what that boy felt. The first 4 Chapters might be classified as a prologue depending on how you look at it. The boy quickly grows and the story really starts when the System arrives on Earth. I’m trying to achieve a relatively slow power progression and guide what we learn at a pace following the people in the story. There will be fighting but It’s more focused on base building. The MC is not all-powerful and all-knowing but he has some significant advantages. I’m trying to create a universe that makes sense in its own context. Much of what you will find, are my own world views, in a magnified way, as to make it for interesting fiction. The story took a life of its own when I started to write and I’m really happy with it. Not all of the tags I have marked will immediately be applied. There is stuff planned for far in the future such as the Sci-fi tag. There might be some cursing and gore but it is not very often. -------------- English is not my primary language, so I ask everyone to be forgiving. If you see a glaring error I would appreciate a msg but it is not feasible to fix everything. And if the story offends you, I wish you happiness, reading what you enjoy. ------------- Img link: https://unsplash.com/photos/EwKXn5CapA4
8 283A Broken Power: Godreaper’s Judgement Book 1
Jack is just a low-class American who has an unfortunate encounter with a heavenly soldier that warns of a coming calamity. The warring factions of heaven are coming to conquer and enslave. If he wants a place for his family in the coming world, he will have to carve it there with his own two hands. Jack will do anything and everything to save the good people that he loves, but does that make him a good person, or is it the opposite? The mundane world is disappearing as Earth is introduced to the larger universe where personal power is everything. A high concept Cultivation story with a fast-paced progression.
8 149Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.
8 94Skyfall
A mysterious machine fell from the heavens and into this world of might and magic. Armed with weapons and destructive powers never seen before by the mortals of this realm, the fallen colossus decimated all that stood in its way. And without the guidance of its warden, the machine was left to its own vices. Will the machine destroy this newfound world or will it change this world anew? Only time will tell.
