《The Immortalai》A Sharpened Perspective

The war has now been going on for 50 years and the fighting has been more spread out but taking longer much to the dismay of both sides. Neither side has taken any major strongholds from eachother not since Okitera was taken, the only places that have been used by both sides are villages, the residents move when they can so they dont get caught up in fighting. Kylorns fought in many battles in the hand of Reinlas though occasionally a select few others but its all the same to him, as long as he can help people doing it he loves it. Kylorn currently rests in his scabbard which is currently with Reinlas in the throne room. Kylorn sees someone as they enter the throne room.
"My king! We have seen an army coming towards Okitera!" The woman shouts
"Shit! I'm on my way" Reinlas says and he draws kylorn from his scabbard
"Lets go Kylorn" Reinlas says and they teleport to Okiteras walls
Kylorn and Reinlas see the army, Kylorn quickly assesses the situation and notices that Keireen nor his closest allies appear to be here.
"Seems to be just soldiers, no Keireen, Onikerm or Ratankira in sight" Kylorn says
"Indeed, though I wonder why, Okitera is a useful city why leave it to them?" Reinlas asks
"Distraction?" Kylorn asks
"Maybe..." Reinlas says thinking
Kylorn looks around as Reinlas thinks and away from everyone elses view he spots a hykra crawling their way through a hole in the wall dug with claws most likely.
"Definitely a distraction" Kylorn says as he moves hsi blade to point down where he saw the Hykra
"Someone go check down there!" Reinlas shouts
Guards quickly run over to that area and quickly shout for some back up.
"Laraka I need your aid, come to Okitera with some of your forces" Reinlas telepathically says to Laraka

Laraka soon enough teleports there with his soldiers and Reinlas looks at them.
"Protect the city from the war beasts sneaking in, the guards up here with me and Laraka can fend of the army" Reinlas says
The elite soldiers nod and jump down to where they see guards fighting and Laraka walks over to Reinlas.
"Really need my help up here?" Laraka asks
"No, but we'll dispatch this army quicker" Reinlas says
"Fair enough" Laraka says
Reinlas looks at the incoming army and points Kylorns blade at the enemy army, Reinlas channels fire magic into Kylorn who blasts it out the tip of his blade like a stream of fire.
"Mages! Funnel them! Archers! Pick them off!" Reinlas shouts
Mages quickly use magic to make stone walls rise up on both sides of the army putting them in one long corridor and the archers begin to shoot volley after volley of arrows into the enemy army killing or subduing many soldiers. Kylorn sees a dagger flyign towards Reinlas's neck from behind so he quickly moves to deflect it dragging Reinlas's unsuspecting arm with him. The metal clang from the deflection rings out Kylorn quickly swings around feeling the bleed on his blade before anyone sees the red. Reinlas quickly realises whats happening so he swings Kylorn causing a Tykema to appear before them on the ground cut in two places making them quite injured and no longer a threat. Reinlas holds his arm and uses some small healing magic on it.
"Moved a bit to fast there Kylorn hurt my arm in doing that, though its a small price to pay given that would have either killed me or damn near killed me" Reinlas says
"Indeed, though I am sorry my king probably should have said something rather than just move" Kylorn says

"its alright" Reinlas say and he sees that the archers are nearly out of arrows
"Alright! Jump down and give them hell!" Reinlas shouts as he jumps down and speeds towards the incoming army
Kylorn sees the soldiers quickly following behind as does laraka whos right eye has a glint of red in it as he uses more magic to speed up further to an enemy mage grabbing them by the head and slams them down into the ground knocking them out instantly. Kylorn doesnt have time to think and the red as he gets stabbed through someones leg, Kylorn twists himself to break the leg as well, the soldier screams and it radiates through his body and into Kylorns blade.
"I will never get used to that feeling, such a visceral reaction shaking me to my hilt, its disturbing" Kylorn thinks to himself as Reinlas continues to swing him around to keep fighting
As Kylorn keeps being used to fight he sees Laraka in a bit of trouble, he seems to be protecting an injured squad of soldiers but is using everything to keep the enemy at bay so can't teleport them.
"Reinlas, Larakas in trouble" Kylorn says
"Then go help him" Reinlas says as he lets go of Kylorn and conjures two swords to keep fighting
Kylorn uses his own magic to float and starts to fly over to Laraka, Kylorn as he nears Laraka sees one of the soldiers making his way over for an attack so he stabs himself into the soldiers neck and lights himself on fire as he pulls himself out the soldiers neck and swings his blade forcing fire to go over to the soldiers moving them back. Kylorn floats infront of Laraka.
"Alright then" laraka says as he grabs Kylorns hilt and channels his magic into Kylorn conjuring a small army of crossbow men that continually fire on incoming enemy almost non stop
Laraka turns to the squad of soldiers and helps them up conjuring soldiers to help them get away with a red glint in his eye he looks at them before his right eye flashes red and he turns around speeding towards the enemy with the conjured crossbowmen. As he is stabbed into the stomach of a soldier Kylorn can feel the enemies heart beat racing, they're scared.
"I always feel bad for them when we get to this point, especially against someone like Laraka" Kylorn thinks to himself
After about a day the fight is over and Kylorn is soaked in blood, Laraka lets go of him.
"You'd best get back to Reinlas Kylorn" Laraka says
"Indeed" Kylorn says as he floats and starts to float his way over to Reinlas but sees behind him a glint of red in Larakas left eye once again as he leaves to tend to soldiers
Kylorn continues over to Reinlas and sheathes himself in his scabbard.
"Welcome back Kylorn, how'd Laraka treat you?" Reinlas asks
"Same as usual, like a trained demonic fighter" Kylorn says with a small laugh
Reinlas nods and taps Kylorns hilt.
"You rest now, your Geirniam likely needs it" Reinlas says
"indeed" Kylorn says as sees something in the distance a winged creature flying towards Renamerima castle
"Is that a tykema? Maybe, doesnt matter the one cant do much damage" Kylorn thinks to himself but quickly his mind quietens as he falls asleep...
