The day after the battle with Keireens war beasts the morale of the Geirlanth Kingdom is low, these beasts were powerful enough to win a battle in less than an hour and kill many good soldiers. Reinlas cannot shake the feeling that something felt familiar about the beasts but he does not know what, as he sits on his throne he ponders how Keireen came across such creatures. Linra walks into the throne room.

"Reinlas? What are you thinking about?" Linra asks

"Those beasts Keireen had, theres something familiar about them and I just dont know how he could have come across them without us finding out, hell we know about dragons and while he doesnt have a dragon those winged ones sure look alot like dragons to me but their form is clearly not that of a natural dragon" Reinlas says

"From what memories you showed me, Farenisle and Liara, I do see why you'd be curious about that, I have been wondering myself after all, whatever they are they have crushed the spirits of some of the soldiers as we dont really have an amazing counter for them. Sure the eyes are a weak point for the metal ones and the screech can be nullified but they still have other extroardinary things, then theres the winged beasts that while we can fly using magic they dont need to use magic to fly but even if their wings were injured presumably they could fly with their magic as well" Linra says

"Indeed, I believe that sending out some of Larakas scouts would prove to be good, if they can find a group that is small and has at least one of each beast then maybe we can find out more about them" Reinlas says

"Possibly though they wouldn't come willingly" Linra says

"I never said they would be alive, they are Keireens beasts I highly doubt they'd leave him, if hes subjugated them or is for some reason being nice to them which I highly doubt, they wouldnt leave in either situation" Reinlas says

"Indeed" Linra says

Reinlas telepathically contacts Laraka.

"Laraka I need you to send out scouts to find a small group of the war beasts Keireen has, at least oen of each creature in the group. Bring them in dead, it will be easier" Reinlas telepathically says

"Of coarse my king" Laraka says and he walks towards a scouting party

"Alright form up, all of you have a new mission, find a small group of those war beasts with at least one of each creature, take them out and brign their bodies back here" Laraka says

"Of coarse sir!" The scouts shout and they run out of the Castles perimeter

"I'm going to follow them, dont want to risk them all dying to these monsters without a bit of back up" Laraka says to himself as a small glint of red flashes in his left eye and he teleports ahead of them ontop of a mountain ridge and lies in wait watching them

As the scouting party advances forward careful of their surroundings soon they get attacked by and unseen force causing them to clump together but as they do a bomb is tight in the middle of them. Laraka notices and he jumps down putting a barrier around the bomb letting it explode safely.

"One of the winged ones I'd guess" Laraka says

"L-laraka? You followed us?" One scout asks

"Yes, don't want to risk all of you dying these things are new and have likely got things unknown to us" Laraka says

"Right" The scouts say

"Now group up look every direction" Laraka orders and they group up eyes pointed everywhere some looking to the sky

As they look around they dont see or sense anything until they hear the sound of paws against the ground runnign towards them quickly. Before they can react oen of the wolf war beasts jump out of the nearby forest and take one scout down biting straight into the scouts neck killing him instantly and it screechs at the rest of the group to get the chance to run which was successful. One fo the 10ft metal skinned creatures stands up off the ground, magic was used to have flowers, grass and trees be on it to look like the ground and as it stands up it grabs on of the soldiers and tears him in half the screams lasting but seconds because of how fast he was torn apart. Laraka Reacts quickly and flies up towards the monsters face and stabs it in the eyes driving his blade in far enough to penetrate the skull and into the brain killing the creature, the scouts move otu of the way of the creatures body as it falls. In the moments where they arent lookign everywhere one of the winged beasts appears behind the scouts and its wings slash across their necks killing some of the scouts while the others turn aroudn quickly and stab it through the heart.

"One last creature, any of you proficient with time magic?" Laraka asks

"I am" One soldiers says

"Good, when it gets close freeze it in time" Laraka says

The scout nods and they wait for the creature to come out, 5 minutes pass and nothing happens. The wolf creature is watchign from the nearby bushes and when the time magic user gets close enough it jumps on that scout and bites hsi neck before he can freeze him. Laraka sees this and conjures two spectral soldiers which grab the wolf creature and quickly cut into it killing it.

"Bastard knew what we were planning" Laraka says

"Seems so" The other scouts say

"Collect our dead, I'll use my conjuratiosn to take the smaller ones and levitate the metal one" Laraka says

"Of coarse sir" The scouts say as they collect the dead scouts

Laraka conjures two more people that pick up the winged beast and the wolf beast while Laraka levitates the 10ft tall metal monster.

"Even with levitation that fucking thing is heavy" Laraka says as he uses more magic to make it easier to levitate

They all teleport back to Renamerima Castle, the dead scouts get taken to where they'l be buried and Laraka takes the war beast bodies to the war room in Renamerima Castle.

"Unconventional place but teleporting to Reinholm may screw up morale even more if the people see these things" Laraka thinks to himself

"Laraka ahve the scouts found anything?" Reinlas asks telepathically

"Yes my king, in fact I went with them and while some scouts were lost we have a body of each of the creatures" Laraka says telepathically

Reinlas teleports there instantly.

"While this area would have been more my brothers department some scanning of these things up close may yeild some results into where they came from" Reinlas says

Reinlas walks over to the bodies and looks at them and he looks at the winged one and starts to scan it but suddenly the beast moves and in a quick move it puts its sharpened wings against Reinlas's neck jsut between the bottom of the helmet and the top of his chest armour putting everyone in a stand off.

"That fucking thing is alive!?" Laraka shouts

"Appears so, so creature what will you do next?" Reinlas asks

The creature suddenly falls luckily the wing doesnt cut to much of Reinlas's neck and its quickly healed by Reinlas who also grabs the wings and arms of the creature in place.

"Now lets scan you" Reinlas says as he scans the creature

The scan focusses on the creatures soul and on the first scan it shows the creatures soul is small and its strange, radiating magic but something feels off.

"The hell?" Reinlas asks in a confused manner

He rescans the creatures soul and he gets a good look at it, its a small full soul but one tiny part of it seems to be the souls point as to where it came from which is confusing to Reinlas until he scans that point and the reason as to why the creatures seemed familiar clicks forcing his eyes to instantly turn black and he snaps the creatures neck in his confusion and anger.

"NO, NO, NO, NO, FUCK NO!" Reinlas shouts, his vocie growing more demonic with every word

"My king! Whats wrong!?" Laraka asks

"It's- he's-" Reinlas says and he flies out of the room and castle as a whole leaving Laraka confused

Reinlas scans around the nearby areas and finds more of the creatures in a solitary group a few miles away and he flies there and lands down quickly causing a small crator to be made due to the impact force which startles the creatures and they get ready for the fight but when Reinlas rises out of the small crator the very shadows are at his command once again and they quickly stab through the fleshy creatures and make a giant warhammer to smash into the metal creatures head takign it down after the loud clang reverberates. The wolf beasts screech but their mouth are forceed closes by shadows forming into spikes and stab through their mouths and hooking them together. The shadows kill all of the creatures save for one of each type and Reinlas walks over and scans their souls again and a pained and angered yell comes from Reinlas than echos all the way back to Renamerima castle as he kills the remaining creatures. Laraka upon hearing the yell uses telepathy.

"My king if this is because of the creature being alive, I realised it may have used illusions to fake getting stabebd in the heart but-" Laraka gets cut off

"Shut up for a fucking second!" Reinlas telepathically shouts back to Laraka causing Laraka to go silent

Reinlas stays where he is, kneeling down feeling defeated. Linra teleports to him after getting contacted by Laraka.

"Reinlas? Whats wrong?" Linra asks

Reinlas looks down feeling worse by the second.

"The bastard used Farenhales soul to make them..." Reinlas says his voice about to give out

The words send chills down Linras spine as her expression changes from one of concern to confusion and anger.

"How-" Linra gets cut off

"I don't fucking know how but I know he has, I know my brothers soul and i have found fragments in each of them so far!" Reinlas shouts as his voice grows more demonic as the shadows appear on his fingertips

Reinlas gets up and looks westwards.

"Laraka get your people ready, we are marching on Keireen as soon as possible" Reinlas telepathically says

"Of coarse sir" Laraka telepathically says

"Reinlas if your planning something please dont be hasty-" Linra gets cut off again

"Hasty? If I were being hasty I wouldnt be bringing the elite warriors, no im going to FUCKING ANNIHILATE Keireen and his army as well as these beasts with Farenhales soul!" Reinlas shouts

Linra doesnt know what to say so doesnt say anything at all for a minute.

"Just don't get yourself killed please Reinlas, I can't lose you to this" Linra says

Reinlas doesnt say anything.

"My king, they're ready" Laraka says telepathically

"Then we move on his lands, the closest city, Tykenheilm" Reinlas says telepathically

"Of coarse" Laraka says telepathically

"Go home Linra, I have a war to fight" Reinlas says as he flies up and Linra teleports home

As Reinlas flies up above where he was he can see the elite warriors comign his way from Renamerima Castle and Laraka flies over ahead of them, he notices the shadows on Reinlas's fingertips which concerns him.

"My king are you sure this is the-" Laraka gets cut off

"Yes, now lets go" Reinlas says

He alonn with Laraka and the other mages of the elite warriors teleport themselves and the non magic users nearer to Tykenheilm. They see from afar the defences have been improved and they can see more of the creatures but the magic users including Reinlas and Laraka sense something or someoen extraordinarily powerful.

"Keireen..." Reinlas says almost growling it

Keireen stands on the walls that surrounds the city of Tykenheilm and he sees the army and senses Reinlas, he uses magic to make his voice louder.

"So the elusive King Reinlas finally comes for the city and we seem to finally meet face to face, I'll take it you already know who I am, if you didnt know your brothers killer-" Keireen gets cut off

"SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH KEIREEN!" Reinlas shouts after makign hsi own voice louder

"Touch a nerve? Tell me what do you think of my war beasts?" Keireen asks smirking

"You used my brothers fucking soul to make them! of coarse only a bastard like you would be brave enough to fight against us with monsters at your side!" Reinlas shouts as the shadows begin to crawl up his arms reaching his shoulder after a few seconds

Keireen smirks as he draws his blade.

"I have many more years of experience fighting and in general warfare compared to you and have killed the others of the first, well most of them. I think my chances along with the war beasts here are much better" Keireen says

"We shall see" Reinlas says as the shadows crawl up to hsi face and to his eyes turning him into a complete shadow.

"Hmm seems the reports are definitely true, though I hope the power in those reports arent right" Keireen thinks to himself

"My king?" Laraka asks but hes met with silence

Reinlas looks at the gates into the city and the shadows around them move and act like beartraps between the two sides of the gates destroying the gates in seconds.

"CHARGE!" Reinlas telepathically shouts

The elite warriors begin to charge and Keireen quickly orders hsi archers and mages to fire from the walls and to try to stave off the warriors from reaching the gates as the war beasts jump the walls, the metal creatures cause a loud crash and some quakes upon landing. The wolf creatures run in first screeching, clawing and biting soldiers havign soem success but these soldiers are much better trained than the ones of the regular army, the winged creatures are dropping bombs and shooting a myriad of different magics from fire to lightning down on top of the elite warriors killing many but with mages helping not as many as there could have been. The metal creatures while slow in movement are able to still kill many soldiers even while blinded by arrows shot into their eyes though they cause as much damage to the city walls as the do to the warriors. Reinlas doesnt even look at the battle he just focuses his eyes on Keireen as he flies towards him on top of the wall faster than he can react and grabs him by the neck as they keep moving causing Keireen to get smashed through half the houses in the city along the way until; he finally manages to kick Reinlas back away from him.

"I'll be ending your life here today Reinlas" Keireen says

"That day could only ever come when the world ends and I dont sense doomsday is upon us" Reinlas says

"It is and its name is Keireen" Keireen says as he speeds towards Reinlas locking blades with him

Reinlas uses his superior strength to push towards keireen and with Kylorns metal being as strong and sharp as it is, keireens blade gets a small crack in it no one notices except Kylorn. Keireen begins to push back using lightnign which he shoots into Reinlas's abyssal eyes stunning him and sending him stumbling back, Keireen tries to use this opportunity to hit reinlas but as Reinals discovers he can see through the shadows allowing him the knowledge he needs to turn back towards Keireen and put Kylorn up which he does successfully defending himself from a strong downward swing from Keireen.

"What the-" Keireens cut off by a strong punch in the gut and he gets thrown by Reinlas through a building

Reinlas doesn't say anything as he speeds towards Keireen and begins angrily swinging Kylorn towards him forcing Keireen to adopt a defensive stance trying to block each swing.

"My king, his blade is slightly cracked hit the crack and shatter his blade" Kylorn telepathically says to Reinlas

Reinlas sees the crack and swings hsi blade downward with a lot of strength and as keireen prepares to block it, kylorn cleaves straight through the crack shattering the blade into peices and as the slash continues downwards kylorns blade slashes across Keireens chest armour managing to tear through a piece of it cutting Keireens chest underneath.

"Shit!" Keireen shouts but before Reinlas can attempt another attack at the now weakened part of the armour keireen conjures more armour onto that part

Reinlas continues to attack shooting fire and ice along with some lightning being called down as well, keireen defends himself with magic barriers that take the hits from all of it. Reinlas speeds towards Keireen and swings kylorn at him and Keireen quickly conjures two swords and begins to attack with a speed Reinlas takes a minute to adapt to causing him to take a few hits which dont do much to his armour.

"I'm not doing shit to his armour!" keireen thinks to himself

Reinlas manages to hold kylorn out who uses his own magic to grab Keireens conjured blades holding them in place and Reinlas grabs Keireens head and drops his face onto his knee breaking his nose then Reinlas quickly throws Keireen through another building. Keireen gets up and quickly scans Reinlas's armour.

"Geirniam? No wonder I'm doing nothing... it needs magic to be forged, if I channel enough magic into certain weaker points of the armour design I should be able to penetrate the armour and hurt him" Keireen thinks to himself as Reinlas launches into another attack punching Keireen directly in the face with a lightning charged fist breaking Keireen jaw

Keireen stumbles back and heals his jaw, then speeds towards Reinlas and teleporting behind him channelling fire, lightning and speed magic into his blade and stabs at one of the weak points in reinlas's armour with a lot of effort it cuts through the armour stabbing into Reinlas's body causing Reinlas to let out a pained demonic sound as he quickly and with much strength elbows Keireen in the face and grabs the blade which is still stabbed into him and pulls it out throwing it at Keireen who quickly de-conjures it.

"Ha! It worked, though to do that again would need more practice to do it faster and easier" Keireen thinks to himself as he conjures a two handed battle-axe and he runs towards Reinlas smashing the axe as hard as he can into Reinlas's stomach

The strike throws Reinlas through some walls and breaks his arm with an audible crack but Reinlas while feeling the pain just gets fuelled with more anger enough that he doesnt even try to heal it he just grabs Kylorn and flies as fast as he can towards Keireen and kicks him in the face then stabs him in the leg and stomps on his knee so hard he breaks his knee easily Keireen quickly zaps Reinlas's eyes with lightning and teleports behind a nearby house healing his leg.

"What the hell is he made of? Time to use my own ability" Keireen says to himself as his eyes turn black with red streaks coming from the eyelids towards the centre of the eye

Reinlas bursts through the wall of the house Keireens behind and punches Keireen in the back of the head sending him crashing to the ground hitting face first with a loud crash, Keireen teleports forward a few feet standing as his leg is healed enough to let him do so and he looks at Reinlas.

"Alright come on you parentless asshole" Keireen says

Reinlas speeds towards him slashing Kylorn at Keireen who conjures an armoured hand strong enough to not get immediately destroyed by Kylorns blade as he grabs it and he grabs Reinlas's head with his other hand and Reinlas feels nothing but senses Keireen getting stronger so reinlas kicks Keireen away.

"What the fuck did you do?" Reinlas asks

"Oh only absorbed some of your magic, you should be feeling weaker now while I got stronger" Keireen says with a grin

"Oh no you just made it more even" Reinlas says with a grin that Keireen cant see as he makes shadow creatures that charge towards Keireen

Keireen begins to fend off the creatures easily destroying them while Reinlas stands back channelling a giant fire ball and the fire turns green from the power in it and when Keireen finishes off the shadow creatures the shadows form into chains that grab onto Keireens legs and shackle him making him unable to move. Keireen then sees the fireball.

"I thought you would have been weaker!" Keireen shouts angrily

"Your ability is absorbing another's magic, mine? I GENERATE MORE!" Reinlas shouts as he begins burning the living hell out of Keireen causing hsi armour to act like an oven causing Keireen to scream in pain as his flesh burns

"RETREAT!!" Keireen shouts and the second he does Reinlas stops burning and gets rid of the fire and shadows

"You son of a-" Reinlas gets cut off

"Your laws asshole" Keireen says already healing himself

"Fucking go now Keireen, your lucky you remembered that law" Reinlas says

Keireen teleports away but none of his soldiers do, before going over Reinlas's voice and body returns to normal the enemy soldiers have all stopped fighting. Reinlas walks over to where the battle was, the remaining war beasts are running away and Reinlas looks at the enemy soldiers.

"Your king called for a retreat you should be leaving as per our first laws" Reinlas says

"Apologies your grace but we are where we should be, we are the citizens of your new city Tykenheilm we were forced to fight in this battle" One soldier says as they take a knee to their new king and the other soldiers do the same

"It seems you are, now rise and go and rebuild, I'll have more people come to help with reconstruction" Reinlas says

The people get up and go to rebuild and Reinlas looks at the damaged walls and the destroyed gates to the town.

"Definitely gonna need some good builders for this place" Reinlas says as he teleports home

In Keireens Castle...

"FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!" Keireen shouts as he punches a wall so hard it crumbles

"EVERYONE GET THE FUCK OUT AND DONT LET ANYONE IN!" Keireen shouts and the guards teleport out immediately

Onikerm and Ratankira walk in which angers Keireen more.

"GUARDS GET THE FUCK BACK IN HERE!" Keireen shouts and the guards run in and take a knee

"WHAT DID I FUCKING SAY!?" Keireen shouts

"N-not t-" The guard speaking gets cut off

"DONT LET ANYONE IN!" Keireen shouts as he burns all the guards to ash

"A rather fun display I'd say so" Onikerm says

"SHUT THE FUCK UP ONIKERM BEFORE I JUST KILL YOU AS WELL" Keireen shouts

"Keireen calm down, while todays loss is definitely a loss it is also a partial victory one of knowledge" Ratankira says

Keireen calms down.

"What do you mean?" Keireen asks staring Ratankira down

"You learned more about Reinlas's magic, his first blood ability and that the reports were completely true from all that can be surmised" Ratankira says

"True... It doesnt make me feel much better but now he cant get the drop on me next time" Keireen says

"Indeed" Ratankira says

"How did the beasts do this time?" Onikerm asks

"They didn't fair as well against these elite warriors as they did against the regular army but were still efficient for the most part" Keireen says

"Good, good I'm glad to hear it" Onikerm says

"Next time Reinlas, I'm going to kill you, I WILL kill you and savour your death as the last of the first and make my eternal rule be one that cannot be taken from me" Keireen says as e looks out a window

"Indeed Keireen and we will be with you to that point, as we always are" Ratankira says

"As long as I can torture I dont have a problem at all" Onikerm says giggling to himself

"Ratankira lets go train if I'm to be able to destroy more pieces of Reinlas's armour I need to get that bit stronger and faster" Keireen says as he walks away, Ratankira quickly follows behind
