A few years have past, the war has been quite costly, keireen has not attacked in full force since the valley city to the confusion of the Geirlanth populace and Reinlas has seemed to be the bigger victor in the war so far managing to keep the battles at the borders contested at least and have them be won at best. The Geirlanthian Elite Warriors in Renamerima Castle under the command of Laraka and Zytaira have seem some of the fiercer fighting over the years though surprisingly little attacks towards the castle itself. The guards on night patrol on the outer most wall are seeing nothing this current night and assume it will be one of the easy nights but unbeknownst to them some winged creatures fly above them with invisibility that natural magic cannot give immortalai. These creatures begin to dive down past the walls and land onto a higher up balcony of the castle, one guard does stand there and one of these invisible creatures wings sharpen in a way which quickly wraps around the guards neck and slices through it killing the guard.

"Wha-" The guard manages to say before dying and hsi body then falsl to the ground

The creatures move through the castle stealthily avoiding more guards but killing those that do get in their way without making noise. The creatures group up near one wall in a more heavily guarded area and use their magic to burn a hole through the wall and grab something, they retrace their steps and fly away towards Keireens kingdom before the alarm of the deaths and break in is raised.

The next day...

Reinlas goes to Renamerima Castle after hearing of the attack and as he lands within the castle walls he sees the bodies roughly 20 in total with surprised faces frozen stiff at the time of their deaths all have claw stabs on their backs, sliced opens necks or daggers in their backs. Laraka walks over to Reinlas.

"What the hell happened?" Reinlas asks

"I wish we knew, no one sensed anything nor did we hear or see anything. We only found out when some other guards were scanning around for potential intruders that the bodies and a hole in a wall was found" Laraka says

"A hole in a wall?" Reinlas asks

"Within the castle itself in a fairly well guarded area, one wall had a hole burned in it after some searching we discovered some potential strategies we had written down were taken" Laraka says

"That is not good" Reinlas says

"My thoughts exactly, the thing that pisses me off is the fact these men couldn't even put up a fight" Laraka says

"It is regrettable but if Keireen had a hand in this and of coarse he did then what the hell kind of spies is he sending?" Reinlas asks

"Some exceptional ones I'll give them that" Laraka says

"What strategies did they get?" Reinlas asks

"The siege strategies for the nearest city under Keireens control, guess we'll need to make new ones" Laraka says

"Indeed, in the mean time we should get the army to attack around that area to make it seem like we'll actually do it now before our strategy becomes ineffective while we actually get new ones made" Reinlas says

"Of coarse" Laraka says

Reinlas walks over to the bodies.

"May the others of the first help take your souls to wherever you may go and ensure you rest easy" Reinlas says as the nearby soldiers pick up the bodies to go bury them

Reinlas teleports back to Reinholm and gives the order for the attack on the areas around the enemy city. Farenisle and Liara walk over.

"Father what happened?" Farenisle asks

"Some spies managed to sneak into Renamerima Castle and killed about 20 guards and stole some strategies" Reinlas says

"Thats horrible though impressive they got in and out without being seen" Liara says

"Indeed" Farenisle and Reinlas say

"I'm going to join the current attack I ordered to give it more validity, stay here in case anything goes on, do NOT try to join like you did last time" Reinlas says

"We are still sorry about that father" Farenisle and Liara say as they look down

"Just dont do it" Reinlas says

Reinlas teleports his scabbard with Kylorn in it to himself and attaches it to himself.

"Lets go Kylorn" Reinlas says

"Of coarse King Reinlas" Kylorn says

Reinlas teleports to the border and he can already see the army moving forward and sees some battles in the distance. After a few minutes the enemy forces retreat in full even though most of it hasnt even gotten into the fights.

"EVERYONE HALT!" Reinlas telepathically shouts to his army

Laraka walks over after arriving there earlier.

"Something doesnt feel right, I'm guessing thats why you ordered us to stop" Laraka says

"Indeed" Reinlas says

They see nothing of keireens army nor even sense it until a few minutes alter they do sense something but they dont know what before these things have even crested the hill between them and Reinlas's army, Reinlas hears it an ear piercing screech unlike they've ever heard theres hundreds of them causing everyone to cover their ears in pain soem soldiers even die from the sheer sound of it. After seconds of this an army of wolf liek creatures with blade like teeth and claws in metal armour fitting their bodies run over the hill faster than some people can achieve even with speed magic and they are the cause of the screech as they get close they jump on soldiers tearing through their armour with claws and teeth alike slaughtering people and some of them even screech into platoon soldiers killing them all in seconds.

"I can't even hear myself think never mind giving orders they wont either" Reinlas says and yes even he could barely hear himself out loud

Reinlas puts up the biggest sound barrier he can but it doesnt cover the entire army only a quarter of it. The mages take the chance to follow suit and go to areas without sound barriers and put them up eliminating the screeches of these animals.

"DEFEND YOURSELVES!" Reinlas shouts as he flies runs t the front and sets up a wall of flames burning multiple of these wolf creatures alive and staving of the others from coming in at that direction

The battlefield is becoming a bloodbath, these creatures are extremely fast allowing them to easily dodge and then counter attack soldiers, Laraka give the order that shield men get up front to make it harder for these creatures to get past and the tactic works making the creatures growl and move back. Thats when they feel it a shaking in the ground.

"Magic?" Reinlas asks

"I dont believe so my king" Kylorn says

Over the hill behind the wolf creatures come around 10ft tall metal skinned creatures that are all muscle with spikes on their knuckles, elbows and knees walking towards Reinlas's army.

"WHAT IN THE FUCK ARE THOSE!?" Reinlas shouts among others

The metal monsters are slow but the wolf creatures run in to distract the shield men until the metal monsters get in close and start attacking the shield men their strength is insane destroying soldiers easily punching through shields and armour causing the spikes on their knuckles to stab into them. Reinals flies up and towards the metal monsters conjuring giant fists that punch these things back but they barely affect the monsters but Reinlas sees the monsters eyes are unprotected.

"ARCHERS FIRE AT THEIR EYES!" Reinlas shouts and the archers react quickly shooting them in the eyes soem arrows manage to go so far into the heads of these monsters they go into the brain killing the monsters which cause the bodies to fall and some soldiers are unfortunate enough to be under those monsters as they fell

The archers continue to fire but there are many and these monsters begin to cover their eyes from the archers view while the wolf creatures run around the army and attack from the sides cutting paths through the army .

"EVERYONE GROUP UP, MAGES WITH ME AND USE MAGIC TO MAKE GIANT WALLS" Reinlas telepathically commands and everyone works fast to do it

The multiple walls force the metal monsters back but they begin to punch through the walls quickly.

"Start healing the injured we're pulling out as soon as possible!" Reinlas telepathically shouts to everyone

Mages begin to heal others but some keep repairing the walls as fast as they get destroyed but then they hear multiple dragon like roars from above and theres no roof to this walled in area. The same winged creatures that attacked Renamerima Castle are above and they arent invisible this time, they are like humanoid dragons with light armour and hardened scales, sharp wings. The winged creatures dive down and throw fireballs, smoke bombs and regular bombs down before anyone could react due to the surprise of the moment, the smoke bombs go off first obscuring many soldiers vision and then the normal bombs explode killing people who didnt realise they dropped next to them. Then the fireballs come down burnign people alive. Reinlas uses magic to set up a physical barrier above them to stop more deaths. More were injured by this and 20 minutes of keeping themselves safe in there peopel are healed enough that everyone can teleport away with the help of more teleporting to and from the battlefield whiel Reinlas leaves with the last of the people.

Reinlas slumps down against a nearby wall when he gets behind the walls of Renamerima Castle breathing heavily covered in blood.

"What in the others of the firsts names were those things?" Reinlas thinks to himself

"My king, me and my men here will heal the injured here, return to Reinholm with the others for your safety" Laraka says

"Alright" Reinlas says as he gets up

Reinlas and any soldier who can make the teleport back, teleport to Reinholm and Reinlas teleports into the castle throne room and sits on his chair exhausted. One of the guards runs out and returns with Linra, Liara and Farenisle.

"Reinlas! What happened!?" Linra asks as she, Liara and Farenisle run over

"Keireen had these creatures, stronger and faster and more devious than any of his soldiers. They decimated us" Reinlas says

"By the first" Farenisle and Liara say

"Indeed" Linra says

"Whatever those things were some of them were so physically powerful and fast they themselves could have destroyed us but all three we damn near didn't surprise and they had only appeared and fought us for over 20 minutes. Not even that long" Reinlas says

"How the hell did Keireen get such creatures?" Linra asks

"I have no idea" Reinlas says

Over in Keireens castle...

Keireen is sitting on his throne with soldiers kneeling infront of him regaling him with the new of how well the creatures all did giving him the biggest grin across his face.

"You followed my order to a T so leave and have the week off, I am beyond glad at your performance" Keireen says

"Thank you your Highness, we are truly thankful" The soldiers say as they get up bow and march out

Onikerm walks in seconds after.

"So how has our projects field test done?" Onikerm asks

"Beyond what we expected, Reinlas and his forces ran like cowards. You have out done yourself Onikerm" Keireen says making Onikerm laugh insanely

"Oh thank you Keireen I'm glad to hear my little project has worked so wonderfully" Onikerm says

Ratankira walks in.

"And those winged ones got us some great information, we'll likely have set their war plans back quite a bit, I've been reviewing the information and the performance of the creatures, the so called Elite Warriors stood no chance" Ratankira says

"Oh even better" Keireen says

"I'd best go feed them they earned it have they not?" Onikerm asks

"Oh they've more than earned it" Keireen says which causes onikerm to walk out

"Soon with these creatures, Reinlas's demise will be achieved" Keireen says...
