The next morning Yu Xiaogang later than the usual and got ready in a few minutes. He stepped out of his room and walked towards little Yan's room. Yu Xiaogang entered her room and woke her by flicking his finger on her forehead.
" It hurts! "
Yu Yan opened her eyes while massaging her forehead with her hands. She glared at her father and turned around to sleep again.
" Yan'er, get up quickly. Today we will travel to Nuoding city. "
Yu Xiaogang said after watching his daughter getting lazy again. Yu Yan jumped out of her bed immediately after hearing that they are going to a new city. Yu Xiaogang rubbed her little head and told her to get ready, and he steps out of the room and walks towards the kitchen to cook breakfast for themselves.
After a few minutes, Yu Yan steps out of the room excitedly and walks towards her father to eat breakfast with him. Yu Xiaogang cooked two bowls of porridges and few meat buns for the little girl. They both eat peacefully and leave the house after some time.
Yu Xiaogang and Yu Yan walked for a few minutes and reached outside Old Jack's office. He knocked on the door and waited outside with little Yan for Old Jack to open the door. Old Jack opened the door after a few moments, he saw Yu Xiaogang and Yu Yan waiting outside for him and invited them inside as he greeted them with a smile.
Yu Xiaogang gestured little Yan to sit on the chair while sitting on one himself. He chated with Old Jack for some time before asking him if there is any carriage going to the Nuoding city today. Old Jack remembered that few farmers collectively had a carriage, which they use to transport the vegetables and grains to the city.

Old Jack asked both of them to follow him towards his house; after that, three of them stepped out of the office and walked towards Old Jack's house. His residence was not far from his office, and it did not take much time before they reached.
Old Jack invited them inside as he entered himself and walked forward to look for his son. Not long after, Old Jack returned with a middle-aged man and his wife. Yu Xiaogang recognized the couple; they were the ones who saved him and took care of little Yan while he was at the clinic.
" Aunt, did you miss me? "
Yu Yan stepped forward and hugged the middle-aged woman. The middle-aged woman hugged her back and smiled kindly.
" Greetings, we meet again. Thank you again for rescuing me earlier. " Yu Xiaogang bowed towards the middle-aged man while speaking. The middle-aged man stopped him from bending and said that he did what anyone else would do in his position.
" Son, arrange the carriage for them as they are going to the Nuoding city. " Old jack told his son as he gestured his daughter-in-law to serve tea to the guests.
" Father, I will bring the carriage myself. "
The middle-aged man answered to his father and stepped out of the house to bring the carriage.
Old Jack gestured them to sit inside for a while and enjoy the tea, while his son brings the carriage. The three of them sat and enjoyed the tea and snacks cooked by his daughter-in-law. Yu Xiaogang heard the sound of a carriage approaching and informed Old Jack of it.
As soon as three of them stepped out of the house, they saw a carriage approaching them from a distance. In a matter of seconds, it reached in front of the house and stopped. The middle-aged man jumped off the seat in front of the carriage and greeted them. He talked with his father for a few moments and gestured Yu Xiaogang to sit in the carriage.

Yu Xiaogang motioned little Yan to enter the carriage first and stepped in the carriage after nodding to Old Jack. The middle-aged man climbed onto the seat and tapped the back of the horses with a wooden stick.
They began traveling and left the village in a few minutes. No fixed paths were linking the Holy Spirit village to the Nuoding city, and villagers made a path of mud and stones.
Yu Xiaogang raised his vigilance as the carriage entered the forest. Although not many spirit beasts live in such small forests, exceptions can be there.
" Roar! "
Yu Xiaogang cursed himself for being a crow's mouth after hearing the cry of the wolf. He told the middle-aged man to stop the carriage and jumped out after speaking to him. Yu Yan was scared after hearing the roar and stuck behind her father.
Yu Xiaogang saw two flaming wolfs approaching the carriage from the front. He thought that it might be a suitable occasion to teach little Yan practically.
He patted her head to comfort her and said, " Little Yan, there are two flaming wolfs approaching us. Don't be scared, look carefully, and tell me their age? " Yu Yan poked her head out from behind him and studied the tails of the flaming wolfs before answering, " Father, the front wolf's tail is shorter than one meter in length, and the wolf in the back has a longer tail. The front wolf is around 900 years old, and the other one is older than 1,000 years old.
Yu Xiaogang listened to his daughter's judgment and nodded. He patted her head and praised her before telling her to step back and carefully watch him. He didn't need to summon his martial soul or use his spirit skills as he could smash the wolfs physically, but he planned to do it to show it to little Yan.
Yu Xiaogang possessed his martial soul, and a pair of black horns and wings grew on his forehead and back. Two black rings came into existence beneath him. The instant the first wolf jumped to attack him, " Boom! " the first black ring beneath him lit up, and illusionary scales covered his body, and he immediately punched on the skull of the wolf and smashed it away.
Yu Xiaogang controlled his power; still, he crushed the wolf's skull and killed it in one blow. Yu Yan and the middle-aged man were stunned as they watched this scene.
The rear wolf started trembling as soon as the illusionary scales covered Yu Xiaogang's body. Naturally, it was bloodline suppression, and before giving it any chance to attack, the second black ring glowed; and a gigantic black dragon claw made of spirit energy formed above his head and patted the wolf into a pulp of blood and meat in a single blow.
Yu Xiaogang undid the possession turned around and walked towards little Yan and the middle-aged man. He rubbed her little head and told her to get back in the carriage. The middle-aged person also guessed something about his identity, but he did not ask and returned to his position and resumed their journey.
The rest of the journey went smoothly, and they reached the entrance of the Nuoding city. Yu Xiaogang paid the entrance fees for all of them. He thanked the middle-aged man for helping them out and separated from him. Yu Xiaogang took little Yan and entered a hotel and rented a room for themselves for a week.
