Prologue – Wilderness

Deep in the forest know as ' Lost forest ' because many people get lost, there lives a rare species of wolves known as ' Shadow wolves ' they are fast, can hide thier aura and can control dark mana. Dark mana is tha same as normal mana except its cold and black colored instead of the normal white colour and warm feeling mana has. Yes there is magic in this world and its basically as common as electricity in yours. Mana powers everything from your car to your mobile phone. Mana is everywhere.

Now back to the forest …

“honey do you think we've gone deep enough ?” a female voice said.

“yea i think this is where they said the wolves would be and that we should stay away from here “

a hoarse male voice replied.

“ok, just dump it and get out of here, this place gives me the creeps” the woman said

*bang * a bundle of cloth fell with a muflfed sound on the ground and the male and female left the forest thourgh the route they came.

A little further from where the people dumped thier bundle a group of wolves was hunting for dinner, and came in the direction of the bundle of cloth.

*sniff sniff * one of the wolves sniffed the bundle and looked at the others, then picked it carefully in his beak and signaled the others to keep hunting while 'she ' returned to thier cave.

In the cave the female wolf carfully rolled the bundle of cloth to reveal a sleeping baby of at most a few weeks old. The wolf licked its face and the baby slowly opend his eyes they were very dark blue and it looked as if the child was about to die but the wolf curled around the baby and warmed it with its body heat like a mother would to thier child and waited for the other wolves to return with food.

Hours passed and the 'mother wolf' heard something closing in and twisted her ears to the sound.

The other wolves had returned and brought a handful of rabbits and other small animals. When they saw the female standing above a human child they growled at it but still gave the food the female needed. The female took a bite off the rabbit and placed it before the baby who was sleeping and gave it a little push with its nose to wake it. The child woke and looked at the wolves, strangely it did not even cry and grabbed the mother wolfs head and started nibbling on her ears. The wolf shook her head and pushed the child to the meat. The chiled looked at it and then at the wolf as if asking what it was. The female wolf then bit of a piece of meat for herself and ate it to show that it was food. As if the baby understood it it picked up the meat with its mouth and ate it. after it ate the meat it started to cry loudly. The female wolf slowly walked to it and curled around its body to comfort the baby.

The other wolves seeing this growled at the baby and some even tried to bite it but the female wolf shielded the baby and growled back as if saying ' ill take care of it ' or 'i want this child' or something. The other wolves could only give up as she was the alfa of the pack.

After a few days the baby started acting like a wolf too and its eyes had turned in the same color as the wolves, a pure white even the pupil was white, not the hazy white like that of those who are born blind but a clear as snow white.

After months of living with the wolves the child learned how the wolves controlled and cultivated thier mana and he became much stronger and faster than a normal huan child of a few months old would be.

After a year the boy leane how to comunicate with the wolves through telepathy and he spoke with them in thier launguage wich was actually similar to human launguage. Altough the wolves could not really speak like humans unless they used telepathy, the child could and the 'mother' wolf tought him everything she knew and so the child leanred to speak in human and wolf language.

Nearly 5 years have passed and the child is now going through his rite of passage or so they call it, to be accepted in the pack by all other wolves. To be accepted he has to hunt three black horned deer, wich are carnivorous deer with two antlers like any other deer but in addition to that they have a sharp 50 cm horn on the center of thier heads and sharp dagger like teeth.

The child roamed the forest looking for his pray when he hears rustling sounds a bit ahead of him so he activated his stealth skill that all young wolves learn and closed in on the noise. What he found was a flock of 6 black horned deer, 4 adullt males and 2 young ones. In his stealth mode the child walked furthest away from the deerlings and peed on a tree and made some loud noises.

The adult deer looked towards the noise and slowly aproached it while leaving the deerling behind thinking it was better not to drag them towrds the danger.

Once the adult stags were out of sight the wolf child silently attacked the deerlings from behind slitting thier throats with his sharp claws and dragged them back to his 'mother' to show he succeded the trial.

Once the other wolves saw him bringing two black honred deerlings they all stepped back with tails between thier legs. Even they could not beat those beast so easily and tought if they made him do it he would die. The only one who was happy was ofcourse the 'mother' of the child as she stood proudly next to her 'son' and howled to the bright moon wich was hanging in the sky. All animals in the forest became silent as this meant that there was another wolf in thier pack and they all knew thet those wolves were the most dangerous in the whole forest together with the deer that lived there. Now that the child has been officialy accepted in the wolf pack the 'mother'was finaly allowed to name her child she chose to call him 'White Shadow' as the child had long white hair covering his body instead of the black the other shadow wolves had.

White is now 10 years old and is now able to talk to other animaos aswell and he's having fun in his daily life, his 'mother' told him that he could mate with other wolves now but something inside his head told him that he shouldn't, that it was wrong to do it, so he didn't.

Four odd years have passed and 'white' has become the new alpha of the pack as his 'mother 'has become too old and weak now and he was the strongest of the pack of 10 wolves. The pack thrived when he became the alpha, they got more food and more youg ones and they also had another lone wolve join the pack.

During the late night hunting that white joined he smelled something wierd coming from the borders of his territory and went to investigate. What he found was an odd creature that smelled like metal and had a very fast speed as it crashed into a tree and exploded, what came out of the creature was a human with blood and wounds all over his body.

*sniff sniff * he sniffed it and ran back to the den to ask his 'mother' what it was because he couldn't identify it.

Half an hour later he came back with his 'mother' to the metal creature and what came out of it.

when the 'mother'saw the human she first growled and then slowly aproached it and told 'white' that it was a creature from outside of the forest and that they should not provoke it. white asked if they should help it or leave it.

A day later . . .. . .

Hope you guys enjoyed this first chapter ? I am just starting to write and am not really good at it i think. I would love to be told what you guys think of the intro also i get my ideas partialy form storys i've read and some from what i think of myself. I mnight just stop writing if i no longer feel motivated but i will try my best for this story. English is not my main language so please point out any mistakes i have made. Thanks ( 'w' )/
