Chapter 15
Lwanda raised his staff aiming it at the panther. As though it was still sentient the eagle like figure began to flap its wings heeding to the command. Wave after wave of lightning bolts surged from the eagle’s feathers crashing down on the panther.
**Boom**boom*booom**
**Rooooaar**
It let out a chilling roar, trying to dodge the seemingly endless attack, but it was all for naught. Bolt after bolt surged through the panther, hitting every inch of its body, eventually it was completely covered in flashy blue lightning bolts forming a cocoon like shape.
Desperate roars rang from within the cocoon as the panther desperately fought to free itself. Lwanda didn’t let up, he was determined to finish it off quick, snuff it of its life before any complications arose.
With determination flashing in his eyes Lwanda nullified a part of the electric cocoon, it was the section that encompassed the panther’s head. He channeled more electricity to the other parts of the cocoon for reinforcement, before making it wrap ever so tightly around the panther.
Lwanda watched as the panther let out sorrowful roar after roar as it tried to break free. Its face was that of pure hate, it looked at Lwanda with terrifying eyes.
“Wow!! Chilling”
Lwanda felt a slight chill, he had a bad feeling about that look, it was the look of a desperate being ready to do anything to come out on top. He knew he couldn’t hesitate any longer.
Deep down Lwanda always had a lingering question about the crystal, ‘just how long could it last?’ Lwanda hadn't really had the opportunity to test out this query. Was the crystal infinite? capable of constantly channeling out aura and electricity or could it run out at some point?
What would happen once it did? Lwanda needed answers to all these questions but... he definitely didn’t need them right then. He really didn’t want to find out right in that moment. Cause the crystal dying on him meant only one thing; he would most definitely die too.

“Let's end this shall we”
Lwanda conjured a thick lightning beam. It buzzed wildly as more and more watts were packed into it, the beam generated a fierce aura, buzzing and shooting down anything in its close proximity.
**Argh!!**
Lwanda was having a hard time controlling it.
“This is a ticking timebomb, better get rid of it quick”
“Go!!”
On Lwanda command, the lighting beam shot at the panther, it radiated a fierce electric aura as it surged through the air, the panther watched as the beam got closer and closer.
“Aaaaahhhh die you fuckerrrrrr!!”
Lwanda yelled as he tried all he could to maintain the beam as it soared towards the trapped panther, Lwanda felt his head pound, he had a wicked headache, blood slowly oozed out his nose.
“What?!”
Lwanda exclaimed as he touched the blood, something was off, something was happening, he didn’t directly know but he could feel that something wasn’t exactly right.
**Rooooaaaaar**
While Lwanda was distracted, lost in a split-second thought, he heard a deafening roar, as he turned to inspect the situation, he was met with five claw like beams rushing for him.
“Damn it’s the attack from before”
Lwanda dove out of the way, he landed arm first on the ground.
“Argh!!”
He let out a disturbing moan, he’d landed on his broken arm, the pain was unimaginable, tears and snot ran down Lwanda’s face as he moaned, he couldn’t stand the pain, it was excruciating. As Lwanda lay moaning a blustering roar rang, it was the panther it had managed to break free from the constrains.
“It cost you a lot huh?”
Lwanda said as he looked at the panther, it was a mess, half its face was severely damaged, its skin and fur charred, it was bleeding endlessly from the wound on its face.

It looked at Lwanda with spit. As if all rational had been abandoned the panther pounced at Lwanda completely ignoring the giant eagle like figure close to him.
**Roooar**
**Woooosh**
The panther launched attack after attack as it tried to hit Lwanda. The latter used every means possible to just barely avoid the impacts, he directed the eagle between them to act as a shield.
The panther didn’t let up, it flashed its red claws and unleashed a devastating attack, five beams of red light radiated through the air as they moved towards Lwanda.
Sensing danger Lwanda channeled the majority of the electric currents to intercept the attack.
**Boooom**
A loud bang sounded as the two attacks clashed, the nearby surrounding was leveled, leaving a bit crater on the ground.
“I won't last long like this; I have to risk it all”
Lwanda declared, exuding determination and assertiveness. He called back the eagle like figure. Lwanda stood facing the panther with nothing but himself for protection.
The panther growled as it glared at him. Lwanda stood still, not flinching one bit. He had made his choice, a huge gamble, it was all or nothing.
**Rooooaaar**
The panther roared loudly as it dug its feet deep into the ground, with that support it slung forward soaring through the air at an astonishing speed, it opened its giant jaw readying itself for the bite aimed at Lwanda’s neck, this was a sure killing move.
Even as the murderous beast pounced for him Lwanda didn’t move an inch, he stood there watching, waiting as the beast drew near. Inch by inch the beast came closer. Time seemed to be moving in slow motion as Lwanda stared at the giant sharp fangs.
He could see them so clearly, they were right on his face, the massive fangs, the slight curve to them, they were indeed terrifying.
As the fangs neared Lwanda’s neck, he suddenly let out a loud scream
“Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhh”
**Thump!!!!!!**

A Man and His Greatsword
Michael Adkins is a unique 28-year-old man. Born with above average strength and emerald green eyes, he always wanted to live in a fantasy world. He was very much into fantasy light novels, manga, and anime, especially a certain one that involves a black armored man with a large greatsword. Michael always dreamed of going on an adventure in a fantasy world. On a whim, Michael is summoned by the god of Alorah, one of the fantasy worlds he had always read about! Alorah's God, Eden, gives Michael a choice of three bonuses and a custom class to take with him into Alorah. This is the start of Michael's fantasy adventures. P.S. This is my first novel, I'm writing this since there were little novels I've found with a main character that wields a greatsword. Don't expect anything good. There will be a lot of mistakes, so please help me with that! P.P.S The later chapters will (hopefully) be much less cringy than the early ones. Please give it a shot!

Or should he use it on his vital organ, so that he became the manliest person in the world? While he was imagining things, suddenly his ears felt pinched. "Ouch!" "Didn't mom already say you can't play with fire, you brat?!" There he realized, knowing that no matter what he chose, he was still a child in front of his mother.
