Chapter 7: Ga(ry)thered around the campfire
"You two try and find some food and a water source, I'll try and get a fire starting". Original said shooing away 4 and 5. After leaving the dungeon through the portal the boys decided that fun and games were over for the day and they had to actually focus on surviving the new strange world.
Deciding to abandon their fallen comrade they took up residence at the entrance of the dungeon for shelter until they found better habitation, after all the Gary's were starting to smell and a goblin's den wasn't helping.
" You too Gary 2, go grab some firewood and please make sure its dry I need to stay and guard our creator" (Gary one)
Gary 2 nodded and happily walked off into the forest, Gary one waited till it was just him and the Original.
"Thoughts?" Gary one asked, taking a seat next to Original. Original was on the floor leaning his back against the outside of the dungeon wall, staring down at his new fire stick with a pensive face.
"...Hmm? What do you mean?" Original asked, not removing his eyes from his rod.
"Come on , you know what I'm talking about. You've realised that this is all real, not some game or trash fiction. People can die here, You can die." Gary one stressed the last part and closely observed himself(?).
"It's fine, I've already died before so it's okay...it not like REALLY dying" (Original)
"We both know that's not true man. Heck, I've known you the longest , you owe me the truth." (Gary one)
"..." (Original)
"Fine...If you're not gonna talk you can listen. Gary's death had an impact on us, we lost one of our own today and not being able to do anything about it...it was worse than dying itself." (Gary One)
"..." (Original)
"I don't claim to know a lot, especially about this world, but I do know that we were foolish to think we could easily handle it. The responsibility , this skill and the death... we underestimated it...We all did." (Gary One)

"You're right I'm not in a light novel nor a fantasy, anything could happen.."(Original)
"But..that also means I'm not confined to it either! No stupid quests or interfering nuisiences, my destiny is in my hands and I can't give up now. Yes It does hurt to lose a Gary this early on, But sacrifices have to be made! We mustn't lose faith now. We will overcome this , we will not only survive but we will THRIVE." Gary stood up raising his staff into the air with vigor, A renewed and reinforced motivation for his goal to conquer the world.
" The Supreme Ruler Of OLOP, has a nice ring to it don't it"(Original)
'Not exactly what I was thinking' Gary One gave an amused smile at the future Leader of OLOP.

A couple hours later the group was sitting around the campfire that was made easily due to the wonders of the magic fire staff. It was the start of the night and everyone was going over how their day went while eating some strange monster Gary 5 managed to catch and drown in a river, oh and they also found a water source by the way.
"-So 4 was chasing it around a tree and he mustived looped the damn thing ten times before he realised the bugger had already escaped HAH HA!". (Gary 5)
"Stop it Five! You said you wouldn't tell them!" (Gary 4)
"It's alright we're all Garys here" Gary 5 said while giving a pat on the young man's back.
" Well at least you caught it in the end, even though you were late for lunch. What do you suppose this thing is?" (Gary One)
The monster the two had hunted(to death) was a four legged animal similar to a wolf's body shape but much smaller. The fur was dark blue with dotted patterns, besides extra large ears it was more animal than monster. But it did not matter, as the most important thing was that it was edible.
"Shame you did bring it back though, ‘was kinda curious about that goblins flavour- GUYS! I'm just joking don't give me those looks" (Gary 2)

"Yeah guy's you shouldn't judge, we all thought about it at least once as a joke." (Gary One)
"I wasn't joking...Think about how many times you read about goblins and orcs! I know you're as curious as I am." (Original)
"Original I knew you didn't fight as much as us so you might not have felt it, but today there was this one goblin and something about its movements.. it was more than just animal instinct it had intelligence." (Gary one)
"So? Humans eat each other on Earth, judging by those Green noses teeth they would eat us without a second thought."(Original)
"Why are we discussing so much if we are the same person, it's only been a day." (Gary 4)
"....Magic?" (Gary one and Original both shrugged)
"Sigh....nevermind" (Gary 4)
**
So the five decided to settle in for the night, going for a 2 hour shift system for the look out and to keep the fire going. The night was peaceful inside the dungeon, no goblins managed to sneak up on them. There was one or two that came from deeper within, but due to leveling earlier only one Gary (Not to be confused with Gary One) was needed.
Eventually dawn broke and the Garys were awake, they had a light breakfast eating some small fruit they scrounged up yesterday.
"So Guy's I was doing some thinking last night and decided I want you to all pick a class, due to it being permanent I'll refrain from doing so. With [Clone] we can have as many fighters or mages we want. But once I choose the following clones will have that class, but this way we can continue to pick when needed." (Original)
"Okay, any preference? I wanna be a Mage but there's only one fire stick". (Gary 4)
" Good question, yes it would probably be good to have it compatible with your roles" (Original).
"Roles?" The others looked at each other, not knowing anymore than the next Gary they looked back at OG for answers.
"Yes, I can't always be around to give you orders. I know my heart aches too, but you're all grown up so it's time for you to get a job." (Original)
"But Dadddd..."
"Not buts! Ahem, at the moment there are 6 jobs. Gary One's job will be military power, he will focus on developing our power and protection. Gary 2's job will be resource and production, we need weapons , tools and clothes! Gary 4 and 5 will be in charge of hunting, gathering and also scouting the local area." (Original)
"What about you?" (Gary one)
"Well I'm the boss of course, we need someone at the top to delegate the roles and devise the cunning plan...I will be leveling while also grinding goblins to dust." (Original)
The others glared enviously at the Original, of course all of them wanted to increase personal power. That much was seen with a group of naked fools spending their first day in dungeon.
"Wait that's only five you said six, don't tell me one of us has to work two jobs!"
"Hah, the last job will be for- [CLONE]!"
Five minutes later..
{Poof!}
"Research and development! Everybody meet Gary 6 The TESTER!" (Original)
"That's a lame name, can we vote on it? How about Garie Curie?" (Gary 2)
" Gary 6 the Scientist! Rhyming bonus!" (Gary 4)
"Shush, no voting!" (Original)
"Anyway, he's the most important Gary. We need to research about [clone], skills, dungeons, classes and the rest of the whole world. So what do you think?" (Original)
"..."
One Gary raised his hand in the air neviously. Original was pretty sure it was Gary 2 but he looked a lot like 5, but as the boss he wasn't going to risk making a fool of himself. "Yes You... that Gary." (Original)
"Umm...can we get new names too?" (Gary 5)

Raven: The Beginning
'What's the worst that could happen'? is what I thought to myself as I entered the World of the Veil with a new, experimental machine that the company created. I was originally excited to participate in their alpha test, and now, looking back, I was just a naive little girl that didn't know what it was like to truly suffer. Sarah was one of the world's best assassin players, but she wasn't prepared for getting stuck as a low-level player in a new game. Suddenly she has to struggle just to survive against the monsters of the world, while also keeping her secret from the authorities. What happens when the killing, and the consequences, are just too real? Author's Note (and a Warning): This book is about a normal person that is forced into a fantasy / medieval environment. What could possibly go wrong with our heroine? This novel is a sort of, legacy. I wanted to at least put it out there before I passed away due to a combination of financial difficulty, homelessness, job loss, and my last interview taking up the last of my savings (which I did not get the job). If by some miracle, and I get a job that can give me a pay advance by next week (4/8) and I survive this turbulent time, I will edit this - and the formating of the book). If you are so willing, please donate on my patreon page. Regards, Dave

They never called, yet he is here (censored edition)
Introduction:Not every world needs a Summoned Hero, even if it is possible to summon one. No, really! Everywhere, no matter the time, there are always good people who can use glory, power and personal harem themselves. And the one who was summoned? He is just a resource, nothing more… Translation of the original novel by Avada KadavraThe uncensored version is available here.Authors notes:This is just my take on the whole Hero Summoning thing, where a hero happened to survive.Fatal mistake, an error in a well-oiled mechanism that lasted for generations, gave a Hero a tiny chance to decide his own fate. After all, bad guys never expect a Hero to come, yet, the fucker still does.Partially inspired by the series “You summoned the wrong one” by Aitbaev T.A. who was in turn inspired by “Rise of the Shield Hero”.I have to warn you, Aibaev’s work of fiction is pretty out of ordinary, it makes one breath fire, cry until tears turn to blood and laugh to unconsciousness in equal measure.
