Chapter 4: Goblins vs Gary(s)

"Dungeons are awesome, this is when we get the overpowered gear!" (Gary 4)

"Or we get the core and manage it, heck anything's possible the future isn't written yet!" Said Gary 5 not knowing how much truth his words held.

"Alright, so we can all agree we don't have any idea of what to expect? Then let's be a little cautious, We all know that we are still newbs." Said Original.

All Garys nodded simultaneously some would believe they even practiced for such synchronising. They grouped up closer and walked further in. The dungeon was almost exactly like that of a natural cave, it was dark humid and smells of rotten meat. Original almost thought he was back on earth in his room , but being in a group of his naked copies gave him a reality check.

The floor and walls of the dungeon smoothed out, no longer rough like the entrance. It was flat and free of any obstacles(rocks). Other than that it looked pretty natural for a globin den. The party walked deeper, keeping their eyes and eyes peeled for any hostile and non hostile goblins .

After a short couple of minutes they could hear footsteps coming from further in the cave, they all stopped and raised their clubs(sticks) and prepared for an attack.

4 goblins emerged from the darkness each as ugly as the last and all without fear. However the Gobs was quick to notice the nude brigade, and just like them they got ready for battle. Though for goblins, this meant they just ran at our Gary's bearing their teeth.

Goblin 1 seeing a worthy challenge went straight for Gary one, swinging his hands at Gary's torso forcing him to jump and retaliate with a punch to the goblin's head.

{SMACK!}

The first goblin goes down without hesitation, while the rest of the goblins goes past Gary one to attack the group.

The two newest Garys played with one between the two, while the heavy hitters easily dealt with the 3rd goblin. Original was left to just watch the battle play out, soon the last goblin fell and the battle was over. Besides some scratches here and there the fight went rather smoothly it was a complete success!

"Great keep going and I'll just supervise." said Original after reading the message that everyone got.

They others just glared at him.

"Ha ha, calm down, I also need to train my skills." Original said.

"No Original has a point." Now everyone else stared at Gary one.

"Yes now it wont be good due to the small army we have. But once our numbers are increased, having everyone boost you would be a good idea.” (Gary one)

"I can see that, we still don't know much, it's still the first day! Well anyway that's for future Gary to worry about."(Gary 3)

"Which one?" said Gary 4.

"Ha ha ha" They all laughed at the terrible "joke". Keeping the good mood going the fighting continued without much problems, they lucked out by getting 3-4 goblins and easily massacred them.

A few bloody hours goes by walking through the dungeon tunnels, eventually they decide it was best to rest for a while, catching their breath and recovering stamina.

"Damn I'm getting kinda tired, hungry too." Gary 2 said.

"Yeah, this clone skill is great and all but at this time it's creating more mouths to feed." Original said.

"Don't suppose you could eat a goblin?" Gary 4 suggested.

"Would you want to?" Gary 5 said.

"...Good point" said Gary 4.

"Yeah we can try later if we get really desperate, and there's always cannibalism ha ha."

"Alright guys, decision time. It's already been hours and the dungeon doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon. Do we turn back or keep going?''. Asked the OG 'It's been going great so far, but my studying(Reading LN) has proven something bad will happen soon.'

"Honestly we shouldn't have delved so far in, we got pretty lucky that this dungeon is pretty weak. I vote that we head back, who knows? This could be a infinite dungeon." (Gary 2)

" Can we go a little bit further, Im almost level 3!" Said Gary 4.

"Liar, you hit level 3 like an hour ago and four is way off. Lets turn back now." Original declared.

Without complaint they all got up and decided it was best to leave now and comeback another time, after a couple of minutes backtracking....

"Garys I think that we're lost" Gary 3 said.

"We all think that the tunnels all look the same, we need to get some tracking skills." Gary 5 said.

"Wait I see some light, it must be the exit!" Gary 4 said.

They all picked up the pace to head to where the light's coming from. Having spent hours in the dungeon, their eyes adjusted to the darkness were now stinging from the light.

"That was lucky, must have looped around, classic video game design."
