Chapter 2: Now there's two of them.

{Plop!} A skinny man of 23 years old suddenly appeared above the ground in the middle of a forest, falling on his postiere. Who is he you ask? He is Gary, He is the main protagonist and he is ready.

"Hoo yeah boy! Let's start this ride STATUS!" Yelled Gary.

"Alright! Level 0 sucks but okay! [CLONE]".

[Cloning...error! level too low]

"Dang, guess we are doing a {weak to strong}. Well this just tells me what to do for the first step, yup fighting!".

Gary, finally taking notice of his surroundings, found himself in a forest, deeply filled with trees. Not a human(earth human or OLOP human) in sight. Even if there was one, Gary doesn't know how to fight, he's never even been in one. Well except for verbal ones over the internet but nobody counts those.

However Gary's fortune counterbalances his lacking skill, as he found a stick, a GOOD stick. It was a perfect size for our..hero?

"Alright world show me what you got!" (Gary)

Ask and ye shall be received. A goblin that has been hearing Gary's shouts of enthusiasm since he arrived emerges from behind the tree and is primed to fight for the tasty human flesh that Gary contains.

The goblin was of your typical design, green skin here, long nose there ugly face here, grotesque pen- never mind that last bit. The generic goblin ignored Gary's stares and started charging at Gary, arms out and mouth open to bite that sweaty flesh.

"Yaggh gaarr ssh GAR" went the goblin, then "BANG, BANG" went the stick on the now dead goblins head.

" I knew this was a good stick." (Proud Gary)

"Finally took long enough, [Clone]".

[Cloning.....complete!]

In reality the event took over five minutes, Gary felt like he was bloating up. Something akin to when he was last at his grandma's place, and the feeling was only rising. Fortunately it wasn't uncomfortable, it was a weird feeling for Gary as he felt something awaken within him.

After the five minutes, there was a poof sound and a cloud to accompany it. Now there were two Garys, they looked completely alike, except one was naked.

However instead of happiness the OG (original Gary) was feeling a bit unwell, no it was not due to the fact that he was seeing himself naked, nor the existential crisis involving who's the real Gary. It was a more of... a magical kind of feeling.

" I might have an idea, show status" Said the naked Gary.

"Well I'm you, but im I clone, for some reason I know that i'm not the original. Must be a safety measure. But yes I do have half your attributes and all of your handsome." said clone naked Gary.

" Interesting, hmmm half of zero is well zero so maybe the skill can't make something that doesn't exist? ....Well that's a theory for later to test. Good that we don't have to worry about identity crises about who's the real one." said Original.

"Well that's easily solved if we just kill the other one.." said the copy.

"....."

"Ha ha ha " both laughed at the same time, it was weird to hear to say the least, there was no delay, it was synced perfectly.

"Yeah yeah, TOWN'S NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR THE BOTH OF US- HA ha ha ". One of the Garys said. And then they laughed for a while in the empty forest.

"Anyway how does it feel to be a copy, besides being cold." Asked Original.

"Hmm not that much different actually, I have all your memories, or at least I think I do. I don't feel any weaker than before we split even though I now have half my/your strength." (Naked Gary)

" I see, well this world has a gaming system so I'm sure some wibbly wobbly magic going on behind the scenes fixes stuff like that. Like your MP isn't exactly half so something more is going on , anyway for clarity sake I'll call you Gary 1." Said Original.

"Okay and yourself?" said Gary 1.

"OG or Original, seems fitting, also the author's already did it so yeah." Original.

"Alright Mr Snowflake, now what?."

"Mw ha ha ,my dear self you know the answer, Now we Conquer the world!"
