《The Human Conduit》The Secret Palace

"How far away are we, Baycorf?" Azari Yuler asked working on strapping a heavy piece of equipment with three propellers onto his back.
"Just over 10 miles" Baycorf remarked as he was getting his equipment on him.
"A lot of caution for just a palace" Yuler grumbled. "Is there any real place for us to hide on that rock where the palace sits?"
"Yes" Baycorf answered. "There is a landing dock with large cargo containers around it. We should be able to keep ourselves concealed."
"Cargo containers?" Azari asked surprised. "What are they doing with those?"
"That would be a good question to answer on this little excursion, now wouldn't it?" Baycorf said saucily. "Put this over your head" the gray said handing him a piece of equipment that looked like a helmet.
"What is this" Yuler asked the gray suspiciously.
"I thought with your hominid physiology some oxygen might make the trip more pleasant. What do you think?" Baycorf snarked.
"It's the funniest looking breathing apparatus I've seen" Azari taking a look at it and then putting it over his head.
"We need to be able to get there with as little equipment as possible. It works fine, I can promise you." Baycorf said taking the air tube attached to the funny-looking helmet into the air tank outlet on Azari's pack. "Just follow me and you'll be okay" he said. Baycorf pushed a button on his pack and two of the three propellers on the pack extended outward on protrusions that resembled wings. Azari did the same and they both jumped off the eight-foot or so drop into the water and their propellers came to life, pushing them forward through the cold water. They both moved them both swiftly through the water for almost twenty minutes until at last they reached the rock where the palace was. Baycorf led him around to the side where the loading dock was. They took off their packs and kept them hidden in some bushes.

"You weren't kidding" Yuler said taking in the stacks of large cargo containers near them.
"It looks like we came at a good time" Baycorf said. "I can't see anyone even with my IR vision." They both walked quietly over to the unloading dock and in between the containers. On the other side of the cargo containers they could see something fairly big. As they got close enough to see most of it, Baycorf recognized it. It was quite big and complicated-looking contraption with many different parts, and it had clearly recently been assembled on the palace grounds.
"That" Baycorf said to Yuler ina soft voice, "is a gate to the universe's hyperplane. One of Grithmeer's great creations."
"Hyperplane?" Yuler asked confused.
"Yes" Baycorf said. "A higher-dimension area of the universe. But not just anyone can go into it."
"I'm betting that's what Zardin is for. He's probably capable of sight in higher dimensions!"
"That is a plausible theory. There probably aren't any hominids with the visual cortex, although…"
"They must be after one of Grithmeer's secrets!" Azari interrupted having no curiosity at all to hear the rest of Baycorf's thought.
"Perhaps" Baycorf said. "I was hoping there was more definitive proof that Zardin was actually here."
"I'm betting he is here" Yuler said confidently. "In fact, I'm sure enough that it's probably not even worth it to try and sneak into the palace." Just then they heard a loud noise coming from somewhere in the direction of the palace. Both the gray and the elf scurried back away from the cargo area as quickly as they could. They put their water packs back on and got away as quickly as they possibly could.

Star Wars Episode 7: A Corpse Through Which the Force Speaks
The fall of the Empire heralds dark times for humanity. As the New Republic concedes much of the galaxy to alien rule, a group of special forces stormtroopers must find a way to survive the "new normal". This fanfiction sets an alternate course of events in response to general dissatisfaction with the sequel trilogy. In terms of continuity, this story only takes into account the events of the first six movies and Rogue One. Please note: This story comes from the school of thought that the purpose of art is to provoke thought, rather than distract us from reality. I hope that the disturbing parts of this story do just that! This story is COMPLETE.

Dip$h!+s in Space
An eccentric comedy novel (that thinks it's a TV show) about space, and the Dipsh!+s that end up stranded in it. This hyper-self-aware comedy of stupid proportions, centers around Captain William T Lawg (no relation) and his adventures as a guy who managed to afford a refitted soft-top ice-cream truck, in space. Explore the universe with his trusty crew of valiant randos. Marley, the tech-bro, stoner spacebunny, who just wants to get away from his home world and the bullies it harbors. Duffy, the plump and sassy female mechanic, who has had every job in existence totaling far more years than possible. Roy, the frigging fabulous, flamboyant android, and former spy…or possibly current spy. (dun dun, daaaa!) And lastly, but certainly leastly, that other chick the captain keeps trying to bang. Ride with the crew of the notorious Tast-E-Chill, to a world of wonder that a lot of other space travelers have already been before, but probably not Lawg, so it's still exciting. This satirical joke on itself and every sci-fi trope ever to exist, will be sure to either thrill you or disappoint you, because COMEDY…IS…SUBJECTIVE! With a crew of 3-10 and an IQ of also probably 3-10, The captain putters along to uncharted lands, where history, loot, drama, innuendos of the sexual verity, and various Technicolor hoes shall surely be waiting, usually with some form of trap. Each season brings new and interesting crewmen, like: Menace: the adorable genderless frog-child-thing with the heart of gold and the dialogue vocabulary of a slightly trained parrot. Greg: the 8 foot tall, ancient, thermonuclear, semi-retired alien overlord who just wants to prove he still has a purpose…and also to rule the galaxy. Izzy: a 3rd generation, age-reversed reboot, accidental clone of her own mother/sister/older self, who happens to be Greg's daughter-in-law…and much, much more. Prepare yourself for shallow adventure, moderately-to high offensive dialogue, and overwhelmingly childish scenarios. Tag along as the crew battles, fierce enemies, lack of food and survival tape, and occasionally their own incompetence. Teen Romance, current politics, subtlety, dignity, this sucker has none of those, and it darn well knows it. Raise the sails and grab the rails as a bunch of dipsh!+s find themselves...IN SPACE. (Roll dramatic tapering credits, to royalty free trumpet music)

Letters from Shanti Ashram, India
I lived in India from 1984-2005, and wrote to my parents regularly about my adventures in Indian ashrams. From 1984-1993 and again 2001-2005, I was living in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, and I am adding all of those my "Letters from India" book, which will mainly be of interest to those familiar with Prasanthi Nilayam, the ashram of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. However, from 1994-2001 I was staying at a wonderfully spiritual, quiet retreat called Shanti Ashram, and I am putting the letters I wrote to my parents while staying there, on this book. The ashram was a dream come true for sadhana. The people are welcoming, it is usually never crowded, and they offer separate cottages to aspirants. The rates are donation basis only. You can contact them for a visit or longer-term stay:Sri Shanti AshramThotapalli HillsVia SankhavaramEast Godavari DistAndhra Pradesh, India 533446Phone: 011-91-7382009962
