Just as the spell was about to be unleashed from the end of her wand, Cassandra came back to her senses, realizing she was about to kill someone. She jerks the wand to the side at the last moment as a large light bolt shoots out of the end of the wand. The bolt slams into the man's left shoulder, spinning him around and forcing him to stagger back toward the storefront windows. King Leo leaps as the bolt hits the man causing the man to take a few steps back to the point that King Leo slammed feet first into the man's back, pushing him face-first into the multi-plane glass window. The sound of broken glass and women screaming in the street could be heard. Cassandra covers her open mouth with her left hand while dividing her attention between her wand and the man now lying on the ground outside, moaning.

King Leo landed on the ground and turned toward the two young men that were racing out of the side aisle of rugs in the store. They stare at their boss lying on the ground and a doll standing on the floor between them, dusting his hands off. Both men looked at each other and took off for the door, each trying to get past the other. Coming to her senses, she rushes over and takes a pair of iron scissors nearby and cuts the rope off the woman's hands while still staring at the man to see if he is moving. Glancing back at the back room that she came from, she made a decision and pulled the woman with her.

"Let's go! I got a safe place!" The girl felt heavier than she looks. Looking back to see what was wrong, she noticed the man trying to get up.

"Shit! We need to hurry!" pulling harder, she was able to pull the girl along with her. Opening the door, peering out, and still seeing the young man tied up and unconscious on the nearby ground. She pulls the girl out the door, turns around, pulls out the key to her door, and ignores the girl as she pulls the door close. She slips the key into the door lock.

"Come on, hurry, hurry," waiting for the Magic House door to appear. Hearing a gasp of surprise, she briefly glances at the girl before grabbing her hand and pulling her through the door into the foyer and slamming the door shut and locking it!

Panting hard, she turns and stares at the young girl that looks about her age, with Coal-black skin that shines like ebony. She stood about five feet and ten inches in height with black eyes and long black hair, wearing a one-piece dress that flair out like a Victorian dress. Only the clothing is inadequate for a merchant. It was ripped in places from where she was manhandled. She thought the bottom of the dress flowed out like a bell, was not because of the dress itself. She finally realizes that it covers the lower half of the girl that was the body of a giant spider. Cassandra's eyes rolled up as her face drained of color, and everything went black.

A few things scare the hell out of Cassandra: rats, spiders, and snakes. She tore apart a magician box she made for an act into numerous pieces when she realized she was sharing the box with a spider. Having to say, it was a memorial moment on the magician stage. During an act of seeing a lady magician screeching and tearing a wooden box apart and leaping off the stage and running past the audience. Yelling. "Spider! Get it off me!" That was one of the most embarrassing things that happened to her in her years performing.

For three years, people toss fake spiders onto the stage at the end of the act as a joke. Waking up to the sound of voices talking, Cassandra opened her eyes, turned her head, and saw Clare talking to someone out of her vision.

"Cassandra, dear. Are you alright?" said the elven girl as she got up and kneeled next to her on the couch.

Looking puzzled, "What happened?"

A woman clears her throat, "I think I scared you when you saw my spider body." A girl's face pear at her from behind the couch. Small vampire-like fangs could be seen from the weak smile the girl was showing. The memories came back to her, almost making her sit up. Only she decides to lay back onto the pillow and closes her eyes to think.

"Oh! Dear! Did I make her pass out again? I didn't mean to!" the young girl stressed out-voice could be heard.

"I didn't pass out. I am okay, just thinking." Opening her eyes and Cassandra sat back up. 'Okay, I need to hit this head-on, or I am going to be paralyzed and helpless!'

Standing up and turning around, startling Clare. Cassandra held out her hand out to Jill and said. "Hello! I'm Cassandra, and welcome to my home. Sorry about causing you trouble at your shop." peeking at the girl with one eye open.

A soft hand clasps her hand, and the girl says. "I'm Jill, owner of the shop that you sent that piece of shit through my window!" looking stern at her and then giggling. "Oh, I am an Arachne. I am from a half-human and half spider race. My mom has a large chain store of spider silk bolts of cloth she makes and sells, and my sisters all work for my mom except me.

I want to make clothes, but my mother disagrees and only allows a few of my older sisters to sell clothing. Mom's favorite children are allowed to make clothing. So! What did you do to stir up the bee nest? It was intense! Wow! I never had so much excitement. OH! No, I forgot my children! Wait, they will be okay. I sent them into hiding." Looking relieved, both Clare and Cassandra stare at the girl with open mouths as the woman continues to talk for a few minutes more, not letting them get a single word in. Cassandra shook her head at the girl, nonstop talking. Several minutes later, Clare leans over and asks.

"Is there a chamber pot I can use?" She said.

Grinning, Cassandra waves the elf to follow her as Jill talks and munches on a cookie. Leading Clare over to the bathroom, she shows her how to use the toilet and the toiletry. Clare is not used to using paper and throwing it into the toilet. She thinks it is a waste. She carries a cloth to clean up after herself, but she was relieved she would not have to clean the fabric after using it.

Clare just stares wide-eyed and nods to Cassandra, explaining the uses of the bathroom and looking even more surprised at the sink and shower with hot and cold running water. Leaving Clare to do her thing and exiting into the sitting room to hear Jill's nonstop chatter. She grabs a coffee cup, a roll and curls up in the chair, wondering how this woman has children and not worrying about them.

Clare POV

After the shock of finding Cassandra unconscious and Arachne was yelling for help when she woke up and rushed out of the room, she was in and entered into a beautiful foyer seeing a gorgeous staircase. Hearing the girl, Jill hollering for help again, she saw the girl trying to hold up Cassandra, who seemed to have fainted. Checking to see if she was okay, they both helped put her on the couch that Clare was lying on earlier. Getting the story from Jill on what happened. She shook her head at the bravery and the stupidly to the woman on the couch. The smell of pastry and seeing the two pitchers of drinks on the coffee table in front of the sofa surprise her. She saw one is filled with tea and ice, something she had never tried before. The tea she always drank was hot.

The other look yellow and smell like lemons. Pouring a small amount of the tea into a glass and taking a sip. Her eyes lit up at the sweet-tasting and the coldness of the tea. She had heard of people drinking tea that was room temperature. Still, nothing like this, pouring a little of the lemon drink and the bittersweet taste splash against her taste buds. Between the two drinks, this lemony flavor drink is her favorite. This place is fantastic. The girl Jill told her that this place is a magical room that Cassandra opens using a key to lock and then open Jill's door at the back of the shop. She has heard of magical dimensions that wizards can form or create using items. In all her studies, she had never heard about something this wonderful.

Clare spends time listening to Jill amble on as she watches Cassandra sleep. Reaching up and feeling the shoulder where the crossbow bolt impacted her shoulder, she still wonders if the whole incident was all made up. If not for the hole in her armor, she would not have believed she had been healed completely. Only a holy healing potion or a Temple Healer could heal completely such a wound. She carries a few healing potions herself that can heal a wound but leave a scar and the lingering pain that can last a few days. Healing Salve can increase the healing rate, but it would take a week or more to recover. The report she had read on Cassandra shows that she is a light mage, and they have been known to have healing powers. But her score shows that she is weak in casting light spells and no indication that she can heal. Her freedom will end if any noble class or even the temples learn that she could cast spells that heal.

Praying that the girl uses a healing potion is the best option. If not for Clare's oath to her family to protect or destroy the reborn if they threaten the world. It outweighs her oath to this kingdom. As long as that girl brings good to this world, she will live, but she is doomed if she brings harm.

After Cassandra wakes up and with Jill incessant rambling, Clara needs to use a chamberpot. The bathroom must be a heavenly room, a chamber pot that empties itself. And a room that has its own rain with hot and cold water. Soap! Oh, my goddess, the soap smell and feel lovely, not rough. She could not wait to use the rain room, call a shower, bathe in, and use liquid soap. There is even soap for doing your hair! What a wonderful place, she must tell her mother about this place.

Frowning, thinking that Cassandra needs to keep this place a secret. Deciding she needs to pull Jill aside and scare her with imprisonment if she tells anyone about this place. If anyone finds out about this dimensional space, Cassandra's life is in trouble. If the King found out, Cassandra's life would be worse than if they knew she could heal.

Sitting back down in a chair across from Cassandra and staring at Jill for a moment. While in thought, she smelled pastry that was just out of the oven. Turning to her left, she can see a steaming hot sweet roll and a glass of lemon juice in ice. No, not lemon juice, but lemonade is what Cassandra calls it. A gong ran out three times that, surprising everyone.

Cassandra stands up and rushes to the door.

Cassandra stops at the door and looks back, "I will be back in a few minutes. I need to check on something."

Cassandra POV.

Exiting the room, she looks across at the study as the door to it slowly opens. Rushing through, she peers into the room and sees the Magic House Grimoire flipping its pages. Cassandra ran to the book, the pages stopped, and it showed the Deed completed. Three stars.

The page turned, and another Deed began to appear. "Change the door's location because the current door no longer exists. The building that the door was at can no longer hold the door due to a fire. Learn how to change the location of the door by using the Globe. One star.

"Fire! Oh shit, shit, Jill's children!"
