《Hell's Insanity》Chapter 7: Unfortunate contrition

Immediately information's and what seemed like a manual rushed into his head but this information's were foreign to him and only instructed him on how to use the book, but it still felt fuzzy in his mind, which means he would have to take time to digest these memories.
These left Elijah with the impression that he once again made the right choice. Deltrich continued waiting for Elijah, watching him as he stared at amazement looking at his heart which the book had entered.
"It's time for you to go," Deltrich said, snapping Elijah back into reality.
Cough! Cough!
Coughing from shame as he saw Elijah staring at him with a look that said, 'where I am supposed to go'.
Deltrich began reciting what looked like a spell again, forming out of thin air what looked like a portal. Elijah stared as the portal kept expanding until it was large enough for him to pass through. Of course, how he knew that this was a portal was certainly because he had already gone through one, although it was different, at a glance he knew what he was looking at.
Deltrich stopped as the portal was large enough to allow passage through it.
"Pass through this portal quickly, I can't keep it open forever," Deltrich said, as he stared at Elijah.
Elijah was prepared to walk through the gate when he suddenly stopped in his tracks.
"Where does this take me to?" Elijah quickly asked as he felt stupid for almost rushing into the portal in a hurry and forgetting to ask such an important question.
But Deltrich facial expression remained the same as though he expected such a question.
"Once you pass through this gate, you will be in the underworld," Deltrich said.
"Don't worry too much about it, although it would be quite easy for me to send you directly to hell from here, I would decide against that as I would rather have you start from the underworld, after all, I don't want you dying on the first day" Deltrich once again said when he saw Elijah's nervousness as he mentioned the underworld.

But although Elijah still felt nervous, he wasn't that much afraid since this time he had lifesaving insurance in his heart 'literally'.
"Goodbye old man, I hope we meet each other again,"
'Although not in the same situation' Elijah thought. Not forgetting to say goodbye to the imp. Although he decided against that but felt it meant no harm, after all, he still made with an imp, and he doesn't want to be at the receiving end of such a creature for whatever reason.
"Good …b..y.. just who the hell are who calling old man, I will have you know that I am only several thousand years old" Deltrich shouted in rebuke and disapproval as he looked at Elijah who was quickly disappearing through the portal.
Still looking at the portal which was beginning to close due to Elijah already having gone through it, Deltrich changed his line of sight to the old house, while looking at the second floor that Elijah had crashed into with remorse, but that remorse didn't last long as he looked at the third floor and a glint passed through his eyes.
...…....
While that was happening Elijah quickly lost consciousness as soon as he entered the portal, seemly not used to this kind of travel.
......
UNDERWORLD
Looking far above a forest, one could see a portal closing, warping back out of reality, leaving no traces of its existence behind.
Shouldering above the forest looked like a huge rock with steeps and slightly sloping sides with sharp round ridges on it. Looking below at the bottom of the rock occupying a huge landmass, there was an entrance that looked like a cave.
…....…..
Flashback
Do you believe in the one true god?
YES/ NO
Elijah stared in disbelief as he checked around him, searching through every nook and crook of his clothes trying to see if a holographic device was placed on him.

But alas! He found nothing.
Looking back at the template, and the sound that of a doorbell that keeps on ringing in his ear, left him mute as the question made itself known to him again.
Elijah quickly concluded that someone was playing a trick on him seeing that he couldn't find anything on him. If this was back in the 2000s then he would be scared shitless thinking that this was something of the supernatural or a test from some divine being out there, but in this age, such things could already be replicated.
Whether it was a prank or the powers of a divine being. Elijah never believed in a being called god. Or you could say that he once believed, but a lot of things he had gone through, through his 19+ years of living made it very hard for him to believe that there was someone omniscient out there claiming to be something, not even science could explaining.
"NO"
Saying those words out, Elijah felt a chill run down his spine as he felt something strange running through his whole body. He could feel it as well, knowing he wasn't imagining it. It came as quickly as it left leaving Elijah to his thoughts, knowing he had 'Fucked up'.
…....
"aa....ahhhh!!"
Elijah woke up with a huge headache, trying to understand where he currently was. As he slowly supported himself to sit up, Elijah looked around the place he was currently in. He quickly found out he was in a cave which seemed to be a plot hole on a mountain.
Regaining control over his body, Elijah steadily stabilizes himself on a wall comfortably enough for him to lay his back as he tried to remember all the past events that had happened to him until this very moment. Thinking back to the decision he made, he wanted to feel regret that making such decisions would lead him to his current situation.

*Note: This story is on hiatus. I intend to pick it up again, but the mood of my life has shifted for the time being and I'm going to be working on a side project for a bit.* What would you give to live the life of your dreams? What kind of deal would you make? And when you were there, forced to stare your dreams in the eye and live them every day, how long would it be... before they broke you? Author's note: This is my first excursion outside the realm of villain fan fiction and I welcome feedback. The thing I've loved most about RRL so far is the potential for writing to be an interactive experience with excited readers. That said, also, the primary genre this is intended for is the blossoming realm of LitRPG. Namely, a slice of life tale in the manner of Grimgar or Re:Zero. So, likewise, I don't expect there will ever be a clear beginning-middle-and-end type of pattern to this story. It will likewise always be a bit more of a reactionary, exploratory novel into realms unknown - much like the 1800 travel-novel theme used by Jules Verne. Or, at least, that is my ambition.

Star Wars Episode 7: A Corpse Through Which the Force Speaks
The fall of the Empire heralds dark times for humanity. As the New Republic concedes much of the galaxy to alien rule, a group of special forces stormtroopers must find a way to survive the "new normal". This fanfiction sets an alternate course of events in response to general dissatisfaction with the sequel trilogy. In terms of continuity, this story only takes into account the events of the first six movies and Rogue One. Please note: This story comes from the school of thought that the purpose of art is to provoke thought, rather than distract us from reality. I hope that the disturbing parts of this story do just that! This story is COMPLETE.
