《Heart Of A Servant》Chapter 34 : Yes, we're going to need a miracle here

What happened next stupefied me. I was at a loss for words.

That’s what I get for underestimating someone.

For Kelly’s external looks to look like Kyle, he had to age for more than a thousand years. A thousand and four hundred exactly, to look like a human of twenty years old.

All of that was because he was the result of a sacrifice of a tier 9 beast that was stronger than Magus Gods and closer to fusing with his Fire Prime Law and become a full fledged God.

Kyle’s body was created with the same vitality as the dragon while making him younger with, like the dragon, tens of thousands years left to live.

At first, I was surprised to see him attuning himself with origin energy which was a prerequisite to cast a spell of that magnitude. The feeble and non-powerful mana couldn’t just cut it. Besides, if he was to become a God, he must use origin energy.

After I saw him cast the spell, I thought I had finally found a genius among genius. He picked it up so fast for me to be able to process it properly.

As for the comprehension and fusion of the fire prime law he wielded, it would just happen on its own. It was like cheating since in his body was inscribed the entire comprehension the dragon had done over the course of millenia. He wouldn’t have to do anything and he would gain the power of a God just like that.

As I saw him slowly aging, I wondered if he was strong enough to take to the utmost limit. Since as a God he could live forever why not use the spell to age for a few more millenia. That is if he could tolerate the pain that would ensue as he burned through all his potential.

When he reached 1700 years of life, it started to become strenuous for him. By then, he had acquired a God Body and become a God. The initial goal of looking like a young man had been reached as well.

“You did well. You can stop now.” I told him.

He seemed to not be listening to me as he continued until he fainted.

Kelly dreamed of beating the Shadow but it’s a pity that I won’t let that fight happen. The whole planet would be destroyed in mere seconds.

I wondered if I could make use of the aging spell as well, but then remembered that it was only effective for mortals who didn’t have a God body yet. Once you’ve become a God there was no such thing as aging.

The Shadow arrived after Kelly had fainted. It looked at the soundly sleeping Kelly and felt the amount of power being unintentionally released by him. Its face became ugly every second that passed.

It then laughed and then left in unhurried steps for its room.

“Why the ugly face? Couldn’t you see it happening in the future?” I asked.

It stopped in its tracks for a second, but then continued on its way without answering.

Was there some things it couldn’t see?

Its powers were still a mystery to me and it wasn’t even the talking kind for me to know about. I could try and read its mind but even as a God, I couldn’t. Its mind was clouded by an eternal darkness I couldn’t see through.

Now that things were in order, it was time I use some clairvoyance and look for Kyle’s and Kelly’s parents. I’ve been waiting to do it for a while just because I was afraid of knowing what would push Kyle to embrace his dark side.

The white weird bird had prophesied his doom. The Shadow had said the same thing as well.

If one person told you a future event with certainty, you’d at least have some doubt, but there was no place for doubt when you got the same information from two different unrelated people.

I had stolen a drop of Kyle”s blood earlier.

I then combined the Bloodline spell and clairvoyance as I started looking for his parents.

I ended up in an dungeon below a palace in the Trost Empire.

The signal gave me two prisoners in the same cell. A man and a woman.

They had no essence cultivation. It seemed it had been crippled. They had no strength to move. I wondered at what frequency they ate or even they had the strength to eat.

I decided to read their minds to find out if they were really who I was searching for even if I knew the answer already.

They both suffered inhuman torture.

The things they did to her…and they even forced Jonas Brightmoon to watch.

I thought… yes, we’re going to need a miracle here.

If Kyle doesn’t lose his mind over this, especially with the Shadow whispering in his ear, I’ll eat shit.
