I could feel the Prime Law of Light fusing with me. A strange powersource more powerful than mana unveiled itself before my eyes. It seemed the white bird hadn’t lied about the potency of Origin Energy.
I could also feel my soul’s level climbing by the second as the knowledge of spells was infused into my mind.
The entire process only took less than ten minutes.
I found myself breathing again after thousands of years. This new body of mine radiated with endless vitality and power.
I felt my soul and found that I couldn’t find out how powerful it was. I turned to look at the white bird and then asked: “How strong is my soul now? What’s its level?”
The white bird smugly looked at me and then said: “I upgraded you to the 60th level. Your soul is now stronger than your God body and can cast up to tier 5 spells.”
It didn’t add up.
I remembered the white bird had said that I would need to be at least the 100th level to be able to fight it since it was a God. Now that I was a God, shouldn’t I be able to fight it even if my soul was only at the 60th level?
Was there more levels above the God level?... That should be the case.
As if having read my mind, the white bird said: “You are right. I am two levels above you. I am an Ancient God. There’s the God level, the Prime God Level and then the Ancient God level.”
I asked: “Can an Ancient God do what you can do? Can they create God bodies and upgrade souls?”
The white bird shook its head and then said: “You can create a normal body using a spell using any powersource, but creating a God body is impossible for an Ancient God. The most that they can do is create a mortal body that has tremendous potential that will allow it to reach the God level in time. As for upgrading a soul through spells, that is even more impossible. The only way for a Soul whisperer to upgrade his soul is to eat other souls.”

“Then…What kind of power did you use to do it?” I asked.
The white bird then sighed: “It was my master’s power that he bestowed upon me. It’s a power that allows me to grant any wish.”
A power that can grant wishes?
I was stunned for a moment thinking how absurd the white bird’s words were.
The bird the said: “You do not believe me, do you?... well, I understand. A power like my master’s is already the strongest in all the multiverses known to man. My master’s friends can be considered monsters as well… I haven’t seen them in ages… why did he abandon me in this backwater universe?”
A gloomy look then appeared on the white bird’s face. It remained silent for a long time while I was still digesting its words.
The bird then turned serious and then said: “You should go back to your friends. Be on the lookout, I am preparing to teleport the Codex to a faraway place.”
I asked: “Are you the one who brought us on this planet?”
The bird nodded: ”Yes.”
“Why?” I inquired.
“I am looking for an energy signature resembling that of my master. It is probably one of his disciples.” The white bird said.
“Why are you looking for him?” I asked.
The bird sighed then said: “It is because my mission in this universe is over. For eons, I have indirectly taught magic to the humans. Now that my knowledge circulates in the universe, it can be considered that I have done my job. I want to go back home, but I am sealed in this universe and can never leave unless my master allows me…It’s been a long time since I last heard of him and this energy signature that I have found is my last hope. Whether it is my master or one of his disciples, I will be able to leave.”

It seemed that if the white bird succeeded, I would have to leave the Magus Stone behind forever… But it didn’t matter since I had the knowledge about all the spells present in the Magus stone in my head.
I then remembered that Kyle wanted to meet his parents. If we followed the Magus Stone again, god knows how long it would be before we are back home.
I thought about it and then asked: “Can you bring us back home? Kyle wants to meet his parents…if they are still alive.”
