After we finished with the fifteenth floor we start clearing out floors like crazy. With that, we were encountering many more enemies and more powerful ones at that. Messages kept popping up in my field of view.

How do the heroes stand this it's so annoying. Well, considering what comes from their world I have my guesses. {Things are very easy isn't it]. {What are you talking about we get beat up badly unless you cast support spells before every fight}. He isn't wrong, it feels like my support spells have become about ten times as powerful since I picked up ExcaliBam. We finish clearing out a room filled with Fanged Worms. Boy was it a disturbing experience.

Oh, sweet Max gained another Mutation I'll use it later when I have the time. We continued our journey until we reached the nineteenth-floor staircase. [Are we all set]? Believe so all the support spells have been cast and we've done as much preparation as we can let's go. With that, we descended the stairs into the boss room.

When we reached the bottom we entered an underground lake. There were crystals on the ceiling that shined. The water reflected the light that the crystals emitted illuminating the entire room. [Wow I can't believe my eyes]. -SKRIEEEEEEE- A giant squid-like monster with eight tentacles bursts from the water letting out an angry screech. *Yep I really can't believe my eyes* [HELL NO IM NOT ABOUT TO LOSE ANOTHER PAIR OF PANTS]! *Let me just check its stats real quick and* [Status]

*WHY IS THE TWENTIETH FLOOR BOSS A KRAKEN WHAT COULD BE THE OTHER FLOOR BOSSES IF THIS IS ONLY THE TWENTIETH*! Maybe I will be losing another pair of pants and what the hell is Hentai? *Ill find that out later* Max seems to have about the same reaction as me, its that reaction you have when you've realized your screwed. [WE CANT JUST SIT AROUND LET'S DO THIS]! {Your right its the best chance we got}. We bother rush in the deal battle with the Squid. -BAM- Me and Max are flung against the wall as it slaps us away with its tentacles. *Fire magic is all I'm good for but it's worthless against this guy*.

I rush back in. -BAM- I dodge the strike changing my stick into a dagger. Because of my size, I can run along its tentacles but I decide against it since it would just throw me off. -BAM BAM- Two more strikes come at me I roll to the left to avoid them. Max starts jumping through the shadows but with the crystals in the room, he can't get much freedom. Speaking of crystals I've got an idea. Jumping backward out of the way of the Kraken I change the shape of my weapon into a crossbow. The reason my shots went awry was that I wasn't thinking of how I wanted the arrow to shoot. The arrow of fire appears on the crossbow. -KACHING- the arrow is let loose and speeds towards the crystals. [HELL YEAH I DID IT]! Suddenly right before the arrow hits its target it curve heading straight towards the Kraken. [Or maybe not].

The Kraken lets out a pained roar. [Whoa how much did I do let me check quickly.

That is really depressing right their. Max bites into it but is just thrown back only dealing about Twenty-one damage himself. [DAMN HOW DO WE BEAT IT]. I think hard about it but nothing is coming up. All I can do is charge in again with a dagger and start slicing it. -BAM- Max only gets thrown back against the wall again but this time a sharp rock pierces into his back as he lets out a pained whimper. [MAX]! I rush over twoards him changing the dagger back into the staff.

[Youll be okay just hang on]. {MASTER WATCH OUT}! I get sent rolling by Max who hits me in the head. [HEY WHAT WAS THAT FO]! I turn around to see Max being grabbed by a tentacle being crushed as he struggles. [MAX NO]! I can only shout as I see Max being crushed to the bone. It may never have seen like it but Max has always been my friend no matter how many times he made fun of me. [NOBODY HURTS MY FRIEND BUT ME]! I charge forward rushing towards Max a plan forms in my mind.

[NOWS NOT THE TIME SYSTEM]! I rush forward dodging the tentacles left and right where I make my way towards where Max is getting crushed to death.

I leap into the air slashing the tentacle that's holding Max clean off in my raged state.

[USE THE SKILL NOW MAX]! {IM ON IT}! As Max quickly falls towards the water he lets out a fierce howl. -HOWOOOOO- Lightning bursts from his muzzle engulfing the Kraken in its purple sheet. The lake now sparkling and crackling with electricity the Krakens health quickly drops but so does Max's Magic Points. [IM NOT DONE YET] and with that, I activate a new knife skill I got a while ago.

With the boosted agility I dash around the Kraken slashing at its body. Were not able to hold out much longer. With as much strength as he can muster Max lets out as strong of a howl as he can.

I split the daggers in two and stab both of its eyes. With one final scream, the Kraken's body goes limp and it dies. Me and Max manage to swim back to the shore. My head starts spinning filling with the Systems messages. Exhaustion takes over both of us as we quickly drift into sleep with my only thoughts on how stupid this dungeon was.
