suddenly out of the bushes pops a guy in armor jumps out. "STOP FOUL BEAST THIS IS THE END OF THE LINE FOR YOU"! Oh, great one of these guys. "FOR I RAGAN THE GREAT SHALL SLAY YOU HERE"! I'll admit my intelligence maybe.... less than average but this guy is just plain mental. [Status] A box pops up in my field vision. (Skill status has evolved into eyes of a hero due to the Title: Tiny Hero, eyes of a hero grants deeper knowledge into one's stats as well as reveal more information). *That's helpful*

* YOUR'E KIDDING ME EVEN THIS MENTALLY DELUSIONAL KID HAS A HIGHER INTELLIGENCE SCORE THAN ME DAMNIT ALL*! On the other hand, the upgraded skill seems very useful it was more than what I expected.
"NOW PREPARE FOR YOUR DEMISE BEAST HRAGH"! [Slow] And with that, I sidestep his sword and use my tail to trip him up he falls face-first into the dirt, it was quite amusing. "you... ILL GET YOU BACK FOR THIS"! With that, he storms off. *What a hyperactive fellow* I continue to make my way towards the gates to the town. I have to pay the fee again but luckily we have the treasure got the treasure from the goblins but it won't last too long. [After we turn in our quest and monster parts we should be set for the next few weeks if we spend it wisely]. {I think that's the smartest thing I've heard you say}. [If you don't shut your trap I'll spend it all on accessories]. That got Max to stay surprisingly quiet.

-Dingaling- The bell rings as we enter the guild "Weclo - Oh it's you give up then"? [No it's completed and here's the necessary evidence]. The receptionist had a shocked look on her face. "Alright here's your payment" [Five Ten Fifteen silver... WAIT THE QUEST REWARD WAS 40 SILVER AND A COPPER FOR EACH EXTRA GOBLIN KILLED]! "About that, there is no evidence that you didn't receive help so we're saving the rest for the person who helped you". I couldn't believe this, the guild is stealing money from me.
"Hey, Receptionist lady". I know that voice that belongs to the asshole that wanted to use me as a meatshield. "I and the group saw him struggling so we decided to clear it out for him he promised us a reward but it doesn't look like he wasn't planning to give it to us". "Oh is that so"? The receptionist looks at me and I'm going to call him Ass for now. Ass shook his head. "That's a violation of guild rules" Swiping the bag of money from me she then hands it to Ass. "Thank you very much" Ass bows and takes his leave laughing hysterically. Pure rage boils inside me it was so intense it was close to activating the curse of Rage skill. {Calm down Crimson if you kill everybody here there would be no point in showing your face in any city}. For the first time in I think ever I decided to listen to Max's advice. [I understand] I let out a deep breath in an attempt to calm down.
{Let's go outside the town I need to show you something}. [I understand however I can't afford to keep paying the gate cost]. {If I remember correctly there is a hole in the southern district}. [Alright I'll check it out]. I honestly didn't trust him but I was desperate to save money. Turns out surprisingly, he was telling the truth. *What a pleasant surprise*

{Alright Crimson do you know why I called you hear}? [Yes were on a picnic right]. At that Max had no retort but I seriously thought that was why we were here. {We're here so I can train you}. I honestly was to lazy to do so. [I'm going to go take a nap]. Before I could even get close to leaving Max bares my path and flashes his fangs and claws. [On second thought I suddenly have a strange inspiration to train] I broke into a cold sweat as I say this. With a satisfied look Max backs down and we begin training. Let me say one thing TRAINING FROM MAX IS HELL. We accepted multiple kill missions and Max gave me pointers forcing me to fight by myself. What's even worse is he wouldn't give me a ride no matter how much I pleaded. It may just be just my laziness speaking but on by the eighth consecutive trip in a row, my legs nearly collapsed. EVEN WORSE IS THAT ASS CLAIMED ALL THE QUEST WE TOOK, I DIDNT GET PAID ANYTHING. After an entire week, Max decided he was satisfied. {Congratulations Crimson you really improved seems like even your intelligence went up}. [WAIT REALLY LET ME CHECK]! [Status].
(Name: Crimson)
(Race Red Kobold)
(Level: 30/999)
(Intelligence: 3.5)
[Kill me]. That's all I managed to say. With my mood as bad ad my looks -And that's saying something- I decided to cheer myself up by selling some jewels from the goblin cave. Ass can't claim these as his since it's not something he can kill. so with that, I make my way to the guild.
[WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT HE DISCOVERED THE LOCATION SO HE KEEPS THE MONEY THATS BULLSHIT]! Now Ass started claiming that he discovered the location the jewels were found so their rightfully his. *I'm sick of this I've had enough* I turn to him [I challenge you to a duel]. "A duel huh and what's in it for me"? [I'll throw all my items in as well as become your party's meatshield]. I heard a voice in the back of my head. {Rushing into things as always I see}. [Shut it I've had enough of this guy].
"Oh, I see if theirs stakes in this than I bet this small bag of holding". He grins speaking in a tone as if he already won. "Any rules"? [No killing you can use weapons and spells as well as beat the opponent to within an inch of their life other than that nothing fatal I, however, will be using my fists]. "Oh please, I would look bad if I had to use a weapon against a mere Kobold". [Say that again I dare you]. "Worthless little Kobold" The tension in the air was high everybody was looking at us. "Alright then let's head outside and settle this shall we"? [With Pleasure] And with that we walk outside getting surrounded by a crowd wanting to see the fight. Quickly getting into my battle stance I prepare myself for combat.

The Villain's Double Life
“The Villain’s Double Life as the Hero’s Mentor," “Demon Nobles Want to Live Too: A Hero-Raising Simulator for the Transmigrated Villain," “Just Because I’m a Villain Doesn’t Mean I Want the World to End!” Cyrus Calvide was the second son of an aristocratic lord; haughty, vain and power-hungry. One day, when his ancestral inheritance manifested, he discovered he was able to steal other’s powers and abilities using demonic magic. Taking this as a sign that he was destined to rule over others and become the new king of this land, he poisoned his father, killed his elder brother, and embarked on the path to greatness, taking advantage of a demonic invasion to consolidate power and harvest the abilities of others in a cruel and bloody fashion. Until he was summarily defeated by the Hero as a mid-game boss battle and executed for his crimes, of course. When a dedicated fan of the RPG “Next to Eden” awakened in the body of the cruelest future Count, four years before the beginning of the game, he pledged to live humbly. He would let his brother lead and support the Hero from the shadows to ensure the demon invasion would be defeated and he could enjoy life in peace. Rather, he would have, if he hadn’t gotten the Hero’s mentor killed in a freak monster attack before the Hero’s training could even begin. How was he supposed to live a life of peace and luxury if the Hero couldn’t stop the end of the world!? Donning a mask, Cyrus took up mentoring the Hero himself; how hard could it possibly be? . . . Four years later, the kind jack-of-all-trades hero Leon had become a twisted powerhouse: alienating his party members, clearing enemy encounters in a single magical blast, and coldly ignoring the affections of the girl whose love would have allowed him to clear the final boss. He seemed to have plastered himself to his Master’s side, instead. Cyrus bit back his despair while the hero reached out to grasp his hand. “Please stop ignoring the saint, Leon; you can't beat the Demon King by grinding stats! You need the power of love, remember?” “Don’t worry, Master,” Leon smiled as he traced the lines of Cyrus’s palm gently, almost reverently. “I have all the love I need.” VDL is two parts plot and worldbuilding, one part slow-build gay romance, starring a man far too proud to admit he's in over his head and the hero who loves him. Should be updating weekly.
