"Whatever." Jevil shrugged his shoulders and dialed another number on his PIPS.
"Hey Jevil, you messed up really hard this time." Jevil's lips twitched once he heard the playful tone belonging to the young person on the other side.
"Let's just get to business, Jason. I don't have too much time now."
The blonde young man, whose name was Jason, on the other side of the line smiled in response to Jevil.
(Jason's first and only appearance was on the chapter 70, "The Floran Colony (22)")
"I talked with Husk, and we are going to accelerate the plan. You have one week to take full control of the Black Star Syndicate." Jevil said with a severe tone. "I trust you. Don't fail me, Jason."
"You worry too much." Jason lazily spoke, "One week is more than enough. I'm more worried about your side, Jevil. How are you going to do your part if you get killed or arrested by Letheia Corporation?"
"It's not a problem. I have a plan now. Husk will give you control over 'Fortitude,' someone inside the crew will give you the instructions of what to do."
"Alright, but what about Dreadwing? Won't he be a better choice to use 'Fortitude'?"
"That penguin? He's useless and coward. I'm more than 90% sure that he already jumped ships and fully joined Letheia Corporation as soon as he caught wind of my situation. Never trust a penguin, I learned these words in the hard way."
"Okay, I guess we are going to contact each other in a few days then."
"Yes, everything is going to be okay. The plans might have changed a little bit, but everything is still on the rails. That was all."
"I'll be taking my leave." With that, Jason turned off the call between him and Jevil.

"Fuuu..." Jevil softly sighed as he rested his head at the couch.
He closed his eyes as he thought about the plan he had come up.
It was a complete mad plan, the plan he came up with. To complete his plan, he would have to bet his own life.
This wasn't something he would do without being forced to do it.
He neglected the threat known as Ferris Laparte for far too long, and this led him to fall in one of her plans to get rid of him.
[Next time...] Jevil's slowly opened his eyes. [Next time I'm going to kill you, Ferris. Severe our ties, our past, once for all.]
*BOOM*
A loud explosion broke the silence on the peaceful wooden house.
"What was that?" The soldiers clamored and started to go the windows and stare at the sky, where the sound came.
"*Tzzz* we...*Tzzz* under...*Tzzz* attack!!!" From the static noise coming from Jevil's PIPS, he pieced up together what the other side wanted to say.
They were under attack. Their ships on the planet's orbit were being destroyed by an unknown enemy.
[They are already here...] Jevil glared at the ceiling. His lips slowly turned upwards, forming a cold smile. [All the pieces have fallen into the chessboard. Now I just need someone to make the first move, and the game is going to start. They are going to destroy each other, and the whole universe is going to fall into a chaotic period. If they are hesitant to make the first move, I have no other choice but force them to make a move.]
Jevil chuckled alone in the couch. The soldiers didn't hear him because they were by the window watching as a few more explosions happened in the sky.

Jevil realized that his soldiers were dumbfounded by what was happening and shouted at them, "What are you doing!? Get in position, ready your weapons. They are coming here to kill us. If we don't fight back, we are dead."
His shout awakened the soldiers.
They saluted Jevil and acknowledged their orders. "YES, SIR." They shouted in unison.
With that, they hastily left the house, and 10 of the 20 soldiers entered into their respective mechs.
The giant robots looked menacing with their 4 meter high bodies, the giant sword in their back and the weapons crossed on their chest.
The mechs matched with the colors in the soldiers' armors, the mixture of blue and green.
The remaining 10 soldiers used the other vehicles to create some barricade and hid behind it.
They readied their most potent weapons and equipment for this moment.
Since they are fighting for survival, they would use everything they could.
Jevil slowly walked out of the house and tried to beam up to his ship.
But, unsurprisingly, it didn't work.
It appeared a giant red message window that showed the words, "No Signal."
Jevil was sure now that the enemies were close to his ship by far and that they were carrying a Teleport Signal Jammer with them, and they probably also had an FTL Warp Jammer.
"Well..." Jevil lifted his glasses and looked at the skies. "Let's see what they got..."
The whole place around the house was freezing cold, the temperature on the planet's surface was about -70 degree Celsius.
Even in this cold environment, the soldiers and Jevil looked unperturbed by the low temperature.
That's because all of them had a Heat Protection Mod in their armors and clothes.
This modification on armor creates a fine layer around the piece of armor that stop the exchange of heat between the outside of the sheet with the inside, thus allowing them to survive in extremely hot and cold environments easily.
As long as they kept feeding UE into the Mod on the armor, the protective layer would remain working, but as soon as the UE ran out, the layer would disappear and expose the person to the environment.
Jevil calmly accompanied the approaching vehicles coming from the sky with his eyes.
The aircrafts that were hovering above the house had their lights turned on to enable them to see in the dim surface since almost always the planet was covered in gray clouds and kept snowing the whole time.
Jevil's black eyes glimmered with an unknown light when he saw the Sumeragi clan's symbol on the aircrafts.
"So it really is them coming for me." Jevil chuckled. He knew that from all the three factions, the one that wanted him the most was the Sumeragi family. He was, after all, a person hired by them. Now that word about his betrayal spread, their image would surely be somewhat tainted, they would also lose some power over the Hylotl government.
They had finally earned some advantage over the Reef Faction after the whole Tepei mess, but they lost the advantage and even more after Jevil's betrayal.

The Wolf Saga, Wolf that Devours Empires
The Empire of Human is about to enter a turbulent era. A World Power has fallen. But mere hours after dying, he is reborn as a half-human, half-elf boy named Wolf. The story follows this odd boy as he grows up, his relationship with his father and those around him, his lack of common sense from being raised in the wilderness, and his desire for revenge. Witness Wolf's journey as he aspires to climb to the peak of the world to unravel its mysteries, and as he tries to figure out why it’s wrong to decapitate a street thug when the man tries to mug you. “I mean, the man literally said ‘Money or life,’ so what’s the big deal?” Releases Mon/Wen/Fri. (GMT-ish) Trigger warning. The Wolf Saga may not be suited for you if any of the following disturbs you: - The story will have fighting and killing. The gore will not be explicit, but there will be descriptions such as "head burst like a melon", "instantly turned to cinders", "blood splashed/fountained" etc. Most of the violence will be performed by the protagonist, some of it before he reaches his teens. If such scenes bother you, you should probably give Wolf a pass. - The story will have sexual content. It's there for a reason. Once again, these scenes will not be explicit. Genitals will be mentioned sometimes, but never described in detail. Nude bodies will be described in passing, without too many specific details. If you're afraid of nipples, you should probably give Wolf a pass. - The story will have a decent amount of cursing. If you haven't given up by now, this is unlikely to bother you. Still, I believe I should forewarn you that a number of curse words will be making appearance from time to time. - The story will have no small amount of loss for the main character. If you enjoy novels in which everything is fine, the protagonist makes it at the last moment and saves the day... This is not such a story. Life happens. As a reader, I'm annoyed with heroes making it in the nick of time, so for the sake of fairness I used dice on a number of occasions, making do with the result. Sometimes it was anticlimactic, sometimes it was tragic and it led to the story you see before you. Dedication: This story is written for Tired Mom and Wolf, whose arrival the rest of the pack is eagerly awaiting. Thanks: I would like to thank Tired Mom for her proofreading and encouragement over the years. I would like to thank you, Dear Reader, for taking the time to read this big pile of words.
