Water drops fell on the young man standing under the shower head. They slide down from his hair to the neck and further down the body. Under the constant training and fighting zergs, the thin body had gained a layer of slim yet strong muscles. Yesterday night, Shen Li returned from the 'simple mission that has gone wrong' mission at J-6 desert planet.

He had been so tired that he did not even change his clothes but went to sleep immediately that he woke up late the next morning. Thankfully, there would be no school for the next two days so he had some time left on his hand. The mission this time was really dangerous and Shen Li was glad that he was able to survive this. The time was also proof that he was not strong enough.

After the special forces of the sixth army fought zergs, Shen Li realized that his mecha driving skills were still not good enough in real life though he had finished all courses of training. It seems that what he lacks is the experience the soldiers had. It seems that he would have to find another way to train his mecha driving skills. Either he took the hard missions from the guild alone or searched for a place where he could fight against opponents and train in real life.

The problem is the time. Even now, potion-making, cultivating his abilities and mind power, training his body, and competing in the V.R world and guild's team missions make him so busy that he does not get time for anything else. If he wants to train his mecha driving skills more then he would need to reduce time on at least one of these activities. The most reasonable one would be reducing the V.R world time or completely cutting out for the time being. But the problem is that what he would tell the 'Free soul' or Xiao Xin that he came to befriend in the V.R world.

Shen Li opened the door of his closet, choosing the clothes for today when his eye came across his blue shirt. This blue color reminded him of certain blue eyes of the general. The shiver ran down his spine as he remembered the imposing aura the man had and also the big wolf that likes to cuddle him.

Shen Li had been startled when the man suddenly released his quantum beast and its pounce on him. He was really glad that he was wearing the mask, which hide his surprised face, and managed to pretend that he did not see the big wolf. There were two things that bother him about that.

The first one is that nobody reacted when the man released his quantum beast. It was like aside from the man only Shen Li saw the quantum beast. But it was not reasonable since Captain, Vice-Captain and two mecha drivers were also sentinels. But it was like they did not even notice the quantum beast there.

The second fact is that unlike the previous times he had seen a quantum beast, this quantum beast's appearance was much clearer and he was even able to see the black fur of the wolf. Shen Li had realized that ever since he started training using the Spiritual Training room, he was able to feel the mood and emotion of the people more and the quantum beasts' outlines have become more visible.

Shen Li has a suspicion of why that is happening but he would like to ignore that even if he increases his body training. He had a feeling that if his suspicions conform to be true then his life may change forever. He put these thoughts in the corner and headed toward the kitchen. He had not eaten anything since yesterday evening and he was quite hungry.

After having the meal, Shen Li went into the V.R world. There was something he had to do here. He checked and saw that Xiao Xin is not in the V.R world. It was strange since Xiao Xin spent most of his time in the V.R world due to his body condition. While waiting for Xiao Xin to arrive, Shen Li went to compete in the Mecha battle arena.

The control panel appears as he wanted and he presses the 'Random battle' button on it. There are two kinds of battle types you can choose from here. One is where you can choose your own opponent by typing their name or nickname there. The system would send a battle request to the party that had been chosen if the other can either reject or accept it.

The second one is the system chooses the random opponent according to your win rate and states. It would match you with another person in the same state as yours who is in the 'Random battle' as well. Shen Li arrived in the arena after the system had finished choosing his opponent. The two players' names appear on the screen above them.

To say Shen Li was surprised when his opponent in this round turns out to be Big Square. He remembers the battle between Big Square and Big Round when he first came to this planet from the ability users world. If he remembers correctly, Xiao Xin said that Big Round and Big Square are one of the top 5 students of the Ninth Rings Military academy. Shen Li smiled from where he was sitting inside the mecha.

It is indeed a good chance to test out his mecha piloting skills against one of the tops of the Ninth Ring academy. The battle starts and both parties rush out to attack each other. The Big Square fires the cannon from the left and Shen Li jumps out of the way before spinning in the air and at the same time firing the cannon as well. As expected the other dodged with practiced ease.

The longer the battle continues the longer Shen Li feels trill as well. He had never fought this kind of intense battle where the opponent is not an easy one and the feeling of going all out made him excited. Unknown to Shen Li, the Big Square was also feeling the same though he was confused since he knew all the top students of the Fifth Rings to the Tenth Rings and he was sure this one is not from any of these academies.

The battle continued on until 30 minutes arrived and the battle ended. The system has set the time of 30 minutes and if neither party defeats the opponent in that time, the battle would come to an end. The system would decide the winner based on the damage done to the other mecha.

The damage done to the mecha appears on the screen.

The winner is Shen Li since the damage done on Big Square's mecha was greater than on his. Shen Li was sent out of the arena after the battle finished and he did not get time to do anything before he saw two young men running toward him at full speed. More correctly, one young man was running toward him like a bull while dragging the other.

Looking at the excited face and running pace of the young man, Shen Li did the same thing that he thought anyone sane in his position would do. He turns around and runs at his full speed. Thus, the players of the Mecha planet get to see the funny sight of one silver-haired youth running away from two young men, the first one who had a manic smile and the second one looks like he is not interested in anything happening around.

Shen Li ran around the planet for about 15 minutes and his chasers were persistent. Just then, a thought came into his mind and Shen Li stopped suddenly. And that thought was, 'This is a V.R world. Why am I running around when I can just log out or teleport to somewhere else.' Shen Li feels like an idiot.

He decided to teleport to somewhere else and wait for Xiao Xin to come. But before he could press the button, his chaser rammed into him and both of them trampled down to the ground. The first youth keeps a firm grip on Shen Li's arms and helps him stand up before asking.

"Why were you running? I just wanted to make friends with you." The youth asked with an oblivious face. Shen Li looked at him for a while and after determining that the other did not mean any harm to him now that his manic grin was gone.

"Who would not run when they saw a person with a manic smile running toward them." Was Shen Li's reply.

"Ah! Sorry about that. I get excited that there is someone who could fight me and win aside from this guy." He said while pointing toward the silent one among the trio. Shen Li looked at the male with the face that spelled out 'Explain now'.

"Oh, I am Shira Hittori also known as the Big Square and this is Cha Yoohun also known as Big Round. I just wanted to make friends with you after seeing your skills in the arena." The young man, who now Shen Li came to know as Shira Hittori explained. And Shen Li has to admit that his day has just become weird.
