Jericho and Zelus arrive at the black fortress watching the bustling crowd move in and out of the dark stone fortress Zelus was about to walk into the fortress with Jericho on his back
"can you put me down now?" Jericho asks Zelus
"oh yeah sure, Forgot you were up there," Zelus says as he drops Jericho on the ground
"Ow, was dropping me really necessary I just got out of the hospital, ass whole" Jericho mutters while he gets off the ground
Zelus ignores Jericho as they both walk into the fortress, Inside they find a long line leading to multiple counters, Guards were everywhere inside the fortress seemingly expecting something to happen at any moment.
"Ugh, lines my mortal enemy, Don't worry kid I got a friend in the guild he can get us up to the front of one of these counters in a jiff," Zelus states as he walks up to one of the guards
"What are you doing! I don't want to get killed for skipping the line" Jericho practically yells at Zelus
"hey I need to talk to Christano, Tell him his old pal Zelus is here," Zelus says when he gets to the nearest guard
"Humph, why would the Captain want to talk to a commoner like you" the guard replies
Zelus opens his jacket showing the guard something, the guard looks surprised then says in a panicked way
"Ok, sir right this way"
"come on Jericho, we don't want to keep The cap waiting"
the three walk into a back room where the guard stops them
"He will be here in a minute, if you don't mind me I have to get back to work," The guard tells Zelus
5 minutes later someone walks in fully armored in what seems to be black steel with a sword hooked to the person's belt

"Zelus!! my old pall how have you been?" the figure asks
"I'm fine Christano, but I'm not here to catch up sorry but I'm here to get my friend here signed up with the guild and placed into the academy, but the lines too long can you just get him signed in now?" Zelus asks Christano
"Hmm? Sure why not I know how much you hate lines and I do owe you a favor so why not, just go back out there and there will be a new counter opening up just go over to it and we'll get him signed in" Christano tell the two
50 minutes later after that talk, the two walk out of the back room into the main area, where it seems the lines have gotten even longer
"did you really have to talk to him for 45 minutes, we could have gotten me into this academy already," Jericho asks Zelus in a pleading way
"I haven't seen him in years so I had to catch up with him," Zelus says
A new counter opens up and the counter clerk waves the two over to the counter
"so I hear you need to get signed in and get into the academy?" the clerk asks
Before the two could say anything the clerk begins again
"Just let me check your status..." the clerk mutters
*WARNING* Status Screen is being observed *WARNING*
*All divine traits will be hidden from the viewer as well as true race and divine skills other than Ethereal Workshop*
"oh a blademancer, haven't seen one of those in a while, well your all checked in, now about the academy, you will have to join in the Battle Examination just hold on to this feather and you will be transported there, and only the kid can go since he's the one who is being Examined" the clerk says as he pulls out a blue glowing feather and hands it to Jericho
Once Jericho touches the feather the glow brightens and encompasses him, after a few seconds him and the glow disappear leaving only Zelus and the clerk there

Aristocratic Avenue
Andrew had a pretty simple life plan: write LitRPG fiction, make a boatload of cash, and... well, he'd figure out what he actually wanted to do with the cash once he'd gotten it. But things haven't worked out quite as he'd hoped. After dozens of failed LitRPG serial attempts and countless thousands of words written, he's found himself pushing forty and broke, living alone in a crappy apartment. But when the platform upon which he publishes his work, Aristocratic Avenue, gains sentience, he and his fellow writers suddenly finds themselves transported to a playground of its own making, a place where there are no rules except the ones the authors have imposed upon themselves through their own writing. Spawned in pods of three, they will need to work together to figure out just what the darned heck they're supposed to be doing and how to get the goodness gracious out of there. In Andrew's pod are the bossy and enigmatic Margeaux Sinclair, crossover erotica/LitRPG author who immediately demands increasingly kinky sex from the hapless Andrew in order to level up. There's also teenager Zachary, who is rather regretting his choice to write about a world populated only by the undead. Turns out, it's kinda hard to talk when your lips are rotting off.Armed only with his skills of Deduction and Investigation and an inspirational mug he managed to bring along with him from home, Andrew is determined to answer one question:What the ever-loving blessed little heart?!---This is a blow-off-steam hobby project, and I can't tell you how often it'll update as it's dependent on my regular work. But I hope you enjoy it regardless!
