Christopher detoured.
He learned that the path around the Tomb was left alone and no scouts from the Rambaldon kingdom were surveying the place.
Christopher used this information to his advantage, his improved senses could detect people so he was confident that he could reach the Tomb without anyone seeing him.
Little by little, he was getting closer to the Tomb, but he stopped when he saw that there were people around the Tomb.
They were wearing cloaks that hidden their faces. Christopher ducked down around the bushes, he studied the people who were protecting the Tomb. He already had an idea who they were but he needed to be sure.
"It seems that they are the followers of Death."
He had a deal with Acacia but he wasn't sure if the deal was approved. The Temple of Death was oppressed by the other Temple but the Goddess of Death still remained arrogant. She won't bow her head to a moral like Christopher. Christopher said that he could help them by building their main Temple on his territory but the biggest obstacles of this plan were actually the Goddess herself. She won't easily agree, that high-ego woman was hard to control.
If he showed his face to these people, there's a possibility that he would be attacked.
His great eyesight could see that they didn't detect him. He regulated his breathing and watched.
The followers were standing and serious about their job. Their feet were on the ground where the Death Necromancer died. They were excited, still, their put importance to their job.
The Bishop was inspecting the Tomb together with Zoan. Zoan had knowledge about ancient words, he was taught by the elder people in the Temple because he was a genius. He had the brain and talent to become the next Bishop, perhaps he could be the person who would lift their Temple to the highest again.

The followers started to hear sounds, it was a sound of steps, two people to be exact.
Their expression was serious. The Bishop and Zoan had exited the Tomb.
"Bishop!"
The followers kneeled and put their thumbs on the chest representing respect to their Bishop. Putting their thumbs on the chest was portraying that they were ready to accept the Death. The thumb was like the knife that would pierce their chest so they could die. They did this salutation to show that they believed in the Goddess of Death.
Acacia nodded her head but he halted when she felt that someone was hiding close to them. Not only her but even Zoan also detected that someone was hiding.
Before Acacia gave him the signal, Zoan moved on his own accord. He created shadow hands that crawled on the ground, it dashed to the bushes where Christopher hid. Zoan had a protocol to silence anything that could hinder their mission.
Christopher felt that something was amiss, he saw that multiple shadows were approaching him.
"Damn."
The hands tried to grab him, it touched his clothing and ripped it. Although part of his dress was snatched, Christopher successfully escaped the hands. However, he still has this problem, how could he leave this place? Acacia was a dangerous woman and she could quickly catch him.
"Yosh."
That's why Christopher showed himself. Since he didn't have any way to get out of this place. He would bet on the chance that Acacia would let him live since he and Acacia knew each other.
"Hello, Aca- Hello Bishop!"
Christopher almost said her name.
'Yabe, I almost dig my own grave. Phew.'
He saw that Acacia extended her hand when Christopher said the two syllables of her name but she quickly withdraw it. No one saw the change in her expression because all of the followers were focusing on Christopher.

"Hey, hey I'm not a bad guy."
Christopher lifted his arms showing that he had no intention to fight. He was like a criminal who was surrounded by the police, the worst was even the General was here.
Zoan's shadows were wriggling like a snake, Christopher escaped his attack so he knew that Christopher wasn't an ordinary man. For a young kid like him who was taught to not show any weakness on the battlefield, his eyes didn't leave Christopher.
"Stop, I know this man."
Acacia ordered them, Zoan and the followers were shocked when they heard it.
Acacia stared at them with domination. They put down their weapons and hands. They trusted their Bishop, if Christopher did something bad, their Bishop would be the first to kill him. They knew their Bishop, she was a woman but she was merciless. They witnessed her determination of serving the Death. Their Temple didn't have an Overseer or Valkyrie because of some circumstances so all of the hard tasks were handled by the three Bishops. They saw how powerful the only three Dark Master Mahikero.
"Christopher Mellwood… So you resurrected, huh. So who's filthy Goddess did you bow your head?"
Acacia said with no hesitation. She knew that Christopher died since she was in the Capital too. She was actually surprised that she would see this man here.
"About that… It's a long story, hehe."
Christopher scratched his head.
"… I don't care anyway, and? What is the reason why you are here? I think you should go to Entei not here."
"Well that's actually my intention but you see the Rambaldon kingdom is surrounding the place and this is the only path I can use but then I saw you here and I can't pass through."
Christopher honestly said, he didn't have a reason to lie, Acacia knew that he wanted to go to the Entei.
"I see, then you can go."
Acacia nonchalantly replied. She talked about Christopher's proposal to the Archbishop, at first they wanted to accept it but because of the war that was currently happening right now, they decided to watch and wait. The Entei was in a dangerous predicament and there's a chance that they would lose. Then there was no reason to accept the proposal if the city was dead in the first place, it was regrettable but they didn't have a choice.
As for the Goddess of Death, she was tight-lipped about this. She didn't say anything about accepting or declining.
Acacia acted cold to show that Christopher wouldn't be receiving any help. There's a possibility that Christopher would ask for the help of the Temple because he believed that his proposal was important to them. To counter that, Acacia acted cold and said that he could leave this place. That's it.
Christopher didn't saw her hidden intention since from the start he didn't have the motive to ask for help.
"Haha, thank you, Bishop."
He smiled and thank her sincerely. He moved his feet but… Something happened.

The Archaic Elements
A fantasy world, its own unique power-up system, some mystery aspects to make it look interesting and an MC that should make sense but well messes up, cause plot. Flashy fights. Characters will use their brain, unless it is an arrogant young master that needs to be taught a lesson. The starting is slow and maybe boring. The main MC does not desire great strength or harbor any great ambition. He starts out as a naive, lazy and a boring person. But the story does hold one aspect which will fuel the growth of our MC, which is his boundless curiosity for adventure and his will to explore. The second MC is a reincarnation/transmigration and he has a clear cut aim that he needs to achieve. His past life experiences also becomes a pillar that will help guide the main MC, while his friend also supports him. The writing is slow and steady. I will provide reasonings behind most happenings and keep it a logical story. It's a WIP as I edit the previous chapters even as I release more, so while the content doesn't change, the style and smoothness improve. The current release rate is 3 chapter/week. There is no specific date as I can get sidetracked or forgetful., but I will try to stick to Tues, Thurs and Sunday releases.

Avine: The Journey
Avine, the name recorded in the oldest records of faith concerning the creation of the world. The lands of Avine are in turmoil. A lengthy war recently ended. Casualties were terrible, but not limited to the dead alone. Breakdowns occurred in society, and kingdoms struggled with civil unrest and a never-ending stream of refugees. Mariel Bluegale has lived a relatively uneventful life. Largely sheltered from prejudice by her parents Serin and Arwaro, she grew up in a kingdom that prospered thanks to its strictly neutral policy. But the winds of war are once more on the horizon. Peace is merely the prelude to a new, even bigger conflict, one which may be decided on the identity of one. Release schedule: One chapter a week for the forseeable future. Reality caught up with me, this means I have to scale back my writing time considerably. I promise to finish it, but it will be in pieces, and likely around holidays. As always, any -painful- errors (spelling, flow, consistency or time) please let me know.
