Afternoon, the second day.

The related matters about the Empress and the death of many females were closed. The Emperor had gone to the place and saw the crime scene, he laughed when he found the corpses.

His third son was indeed the culprit, he was eager to meet George to crush his skull. He had the guts to face him, it was the most atrocious thing that George decided.

All of the leaders of the Continent knew that Aquila was a terrifying man. No one could ever face him that didn't die.

A couple of nobles were crying on the ground, he kicked his tongue in annoyance. There were even some people who tried to talk to him about justice, they received his cold gazes.

Everybody knew that the Princess was almost abducted earlier and Aquila's temperament was on its last fuse.

They closed their mouths even if they were grieving, they didn't want to incur the hatred of the Emperor.

He exited the place with an annoyed face. Yuusha was not on the scene cause Teresa took him to her room.

The information about Christopher's ability was hidden and there were only a few people knew it. Even Marquis Fillan was oblivious about it.

Duke Saraza was a loyal subordinate of the Emperor. Duke Saraza stated what he heard into his son's mouth. The Emperor attentively listen, he realized that Christopher was actually the one who liberated the Inaudible Plain, he was amazed. That place was a dangerous area and their Knights and Mahikero couldn't go inside it, they would lose their sense of direction.

"There's a rat hiding in the Palace, I want you to exterminate it. Marquis Fillan is unconscious so do it alone. "

"Yes, your Majesty."

Duke Saraza lowered his head and he accepted the task that Aquila gave.

Aquila grinned, and he commanded the Duke to leave.

After that, the Emperor asked Julian and Aria to meet him.

The news of Aria's abduction had subdued when they found her. Since the Princess was fine, the problem was solved.

Julian and Aquila talked to her and they understood that Christopher was the one who saved her, again.

"It looks like Christopher is useful…"

Aquila said he didn't think that what he said was wrong. However, Aria's expression was telling that she heard unbelievable words. She didn't like Aquila's tone. She recalled how her father almost killed her lover.

"What useful!? Christopher is not an object!!"

She shouted, she was not scared and she yelled her inner feelings to her father. Aquila tilted his head, he didn't get what she wanted to say.

"What do you mean? Of course, he's not an object."

Aquila bickered, he believed that what he said was not bad. Aria was glaring at him but Aquila only chuckled. He remembered how Ariana, the late Empress, glare at him, they were exactly the same. This was the reason why Aquila treated her like a precious gem. He recalled his wife in her.

Julian coughed, the combination of this daughter and father was the only time that he could see Aquila as a human. This was the only moment where Aquila could lower his defense. Being an Emperor was the hardest job that Julian could imagine.

The conversations lasted for two hours before ended, the two decided to leave his room.

Paolo was freed after the interrogation, he told what he knew. He believed that his father won't tell anyone about what he heard, he would only tell it to the Emperor.

Pablo and Prince Julian met in the hallway, they nodded and went to a secluded place.

They started to speak when they detected that there was no presence beside them.

"I didn't see Christopher. I heard he was freed earlier than me?"

Since these two were not close, the only thing they could talk about was Christopher.

" Aria said that he had something to do… I bet it's connected to his Gift."

"Well, that man hides many secret… "

Before Pablo could continue his sentence, a sound of crashing rain upon them.

*Baam!!!*

Duke Saraza and an unknown man fell into the ground, right close to them. The ground cracked and it seemed that it would go on.

Duke Saraza chopped the man but it was futile, his enemy's skin was like metal.

Yaman was a Master of Defense that came from the desert region of the Continent. He had black skin and his face was pierced with many earrings and half of his body was tattooed.

Together with his knuckle blades, he punched the Duke. The Duke parried the attack, he understood that his enemy was a Master that had a Gift.

Pablo and Julian ready themselves, they were not idiots. They could easily deduce that Yaman was an enemy.

Julian threw water needles but it only bounced back. Yaman's skin was tougher than the ordinary person, it was even tougher than the Marquis.

Yaman had a Gift that maximized his defense, he was a Master of Defense just like Edson but he was more unbreakable than him.

His metal skin was like armor but it was flexible. Yaman did an acrobatic stunt and flew into the two. They were weaker, that's why he attacked them first but Pablo and Julian were not average Intermediates. They were talented and they faced many Masters, seeing Yamam would not fluster them.

Pablo was preparing because he already knew that Yaman would attack him. He dashed to distract him while Julian cast his spells.

Yaman snickered maybe these young men were crazy and suicidal. He threw a heavy punch to kill Pablo but he hit nothing, Pablo was not here. Instead, he saw the Duke lifting his sword.

*Clash!!!!*

He was hit right into his head, it didn't bleed but Yaman felt the shock. He shook his head to alleviate the pain but he didn't see that Julian finished his preparation.

A mist was covering him and he found that his metal skin was melting.

"Oh no…"

He said, but he was late. Two people smashed him.

*Cracked!*

He felt that his armor was cracking, he started to realize that he was in a predicament. He tried to run. However, Duke Zarasa wouldn't let him escape. He was famous for being a cheetah that could kill his prey in just a sprint.

Aura engulfed his sword and he swings it!!! Yaman confronted the force by using his Aura and Gift. The blade didn't penetrate him but he felt painful heat behind him.

Julian using his innate ability, extinguished the metal on his back and Pablo stabbed him. Yaman began to lose his strength and died.
