《Tartarus- A Prison Odyssey》B2 Chapter 20- Gilgamesh

“…Say that again, with clarity.” Gilgamesh was looking at the slightly injured form of Lu Bu and having the Warden standing nearby.
“Solomon and I attempted to retrieve the target… we waited until he was inside a building to attack… but he had trapped the building with home-made explosives. The building collapsed on me, and Solomon was taken during the collapse.” Lu Bu’s statement did not change and Gilgamesh sighed.
It was so hard to get everything done when you were someone who demanded perfection; Gilgamesh wondered for a moment why she cared so much.
Then she remembered that when something was done to her specifications it came out beautifully, and all was forgiven.
Everything except the failures of her workers would be forgiven of course.
“That is disappointing. It is very likely that we will need to terminate Solomon if she is still alive.” Gilgamesh, due to not looking at him, missed Lu Bu’s tense stance as she continued.
“Why would such actions be necessary?” Lu Bu asked, and Gilgamesh sighed, wishing that she had the capability to alter the Ascension process to create complete loyalty to her.
Unfortunately she wasn’t a geneticist with a heavy amount of knowledge in cybernetics and biological to mechanical integration, that was someone else who disagreed with her.
And while Doctor Lionel was good, he was a pitifully poor replacement to Krauss, and the man knew it.
“You don’t need to know that Lu Bu… but I’m gracious, and so I shall tell you. Aaron, Odysseus, is dangerous for many, many reasons, but a key one is his power of persuasion.” Lu Bu seemed confused by this, and Gilgamesh scoffed.
She had a file on Aaron, why didn’t anyone read it?
“Little Aaron has a habit of quickly finding out ways to get what he wants, and usually by letting other people get it for him.” Gilgamesh words were punctuated with a snap of her fingers, bringing up an old drawing, Chinese in origin from the brush strokes, showing a man waiting on another man who was sleeping.
“It’s fictional, but in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms from which you are named, Liu Bei, a leader of one of the Kingdoms, managed to recruit Zhuge Liang, one of the greatest tacticians of his time.” Gilgamesh gestured to the sleeping man.
“Liu Bei, in the fictional telling, visited three times in different seasons to recruit the tactician, despite the wasted time; Liu Bei knew Zhuge Liang was skilled enough to be worth it.” Gilgamesh then turned to Lu Bu, clicking her fingers and making the image disappear.
The benefits of having access to the databases remotely, as long as she was in range of course.
“We can liken little Aaron to Liu Bei in that he will recruit anyone he takes interest in, and he has an eye for talent. Not only that, he has done such recruitments many times, he is a skilled negotiator in that regard.” Lu Bu spoke out at this.
“But Milady, Solomon is a Lord under your command; she would not betray us for anything Odysseus could possibly provide at this date.” Lu Bu’s speech was surprisingly formal for him, but he knew what would happen if he tried to speak informally… Gilgamesh was not to be messed with.
“She would betray us if it’s little Aaron talking. There are many sides to Aaron, and he changes his attitude freely in negotiation, kindness would not get to Solomon, but if little Aaron were to threaten her in some way…” Gilgamesh’s statement got Lu Bu angry as he nodded.

“I understand. I request permission to persuade her to our side once more in the situation where I encounter her.” Lu Bu made one request, uncertain of whether or not Gilgamesh would be willing to answer.
“If, you encounter her, very well... If you do not, I will see her slain for going against me.” Lu Bu nodded, keeping his thoughts hidden from the woman that would easily decide to keep him locked away like that poor child Beowulf.
Lu Bu accepted Gilgamesh’s words, ignoring the grin sent his way by Leviathan or the glances of the Warden.
The only one that seemed to treat his failure as ‘acceptable’ was the Hunter Jaeger, but Lu Bu had rarely spoken to the man before he had been sent to get Aaron.
“Understood Milady… When are we going to battle?” Lu Bu’s question got a thinking pose from Gilgamesh who thought it over.
“Who knows? We’d need to track them down again. They were in Area nine, the Cyber-crime sector, but they would have moved by now.” Gilgamesh looked to the ceiling in thought.
“If what our reports say is true, then they were going through the Areas of Tartarus as quickly as they could. Odysseus escaped into Tartarus by Area four, the rape and human trafficking sector, and then they moved to Area five.” Gilgamesh said, lights appearing on the nearby screen acting like a map of Tartarus.
A line was being drawn by a dainty finger as Gilgamesh tilted her head, looking towards the map, and Lu Bu once more reminded himself that Gilgamesh was nigh unearthly beautiful… but she was the most vicious person in the room.
“They skipped quickly through Areas six and seven, before stopping in Area eight… it’s kind of obvious at this point, but they’re moving in a clockwise spiral through the Areas, stopping longer in places they hadn’t stayed in long during little Aaron’s last run around.” Gilgamesh said, looking to Lu Bu for a moment.
“You fought them in Area nine… they’ll skip through Area ten, and might make a stop in Area eleven given that’s where we found them last time, but their main goal would be Area twelve, the place we release the Ascended.” Lu Bu nodded in agreement, thinking back to the conversation he had with Solomon before being attacked.
An Insect Jar was it?
Gilgamesh was not to be trusted. It was something that Lu Bu vaguely understood, but until now had not truly focused on.
Her easy dismissal of Solomon was one of the key reasons, given how easily she discarded a Lord, who was to say she wouldn’t do the same with him?
No, he wouldn’t trust her, and if Solomon gave him reason enough, he’d be joining her…
For all that they argued, or complained about one another, Solomon had never led him astray and he had always protected her.
Had, after their last mission…
He would make up his failure to her.
“It’s a good thing they are heading to that Area then, given that it’s so close to the Ascension chamber. Oh, and I believe one of my soldiers is there.” Gilgamesh said, bringing up a file on the Babylonian Ascended, which included Toy Maker and Geist.
Those two were the weakest of the seventeen Babylonian Ascended, though strangely two were odd, Toy Maker and Geist, and two were Biblical, Leviathan and Behemoth.
The other thirteen Ascended in her repertoire were not around at the moment though… they were occupied elsewhere, beyond the walls of Tartarus.
Two Biblical, thirteen from Mesopotamian myth, and two folk legends, Gilgamesh had the fewest Ascended to her name, but they were all a bit dangerous, looking at the known ones.

“Behemoth, the hulking beast which was some strange combination of rhino, hippopotamus and a few other things… he’ll be a good bruiser.” Gilgamesh said appreciatively.
“Alright, we will be leaving in eight hours; you are all to be fully equipped. Jaeger, wear the equipment I gave you, Leviathan, you get the vehicle ready. John, you are to prepare the Warden model as well as the Hell-Hound unit. It will take you longer to arrive than us, so you are reinforcements.” The three mentioned nodded, each moving out as Gilgamesh looked to Lu Bu.
“Lu Bu. I believe I do not need to say how important this mission is. If you fail there will be severe consequences. And so I believe you should do everything you can to not fail me. Wear your armour.” Lu Bu kept his face neutral as he nodded, walking away with a frown as he looked for his storage unit.
It was nice that copies of his equipment existed in every Area entrance, with the exception of the weapon which was created for him by Solomon.
A Fangtian Huaji… Lu Bu didn’t think he would forget it again.
If everything was resolved and they were on the same side again, he’d pretend he didn’t know it though.
He also looked up the name, as Ji meant spear, and this was supposed to mean sky piercer, or something like that.
Famed as the weapon of the original Lu Bu… yeah, Solomon liked things like that.
Lu Bu walked away, glad that glaring at the common guards got them to get out of his way quickly.
There were pitifully few of them for a prison of this size, but Gilgamesh was of the belief that they didn’t really need guards at all, let alone a warden.
But they had them because the other members on the Council would think Gilgamesh was monopolizing everything. She was doing so; it’s just that they didn’t realize that yet.
He soon arrived at his ‘docking’ station where his standard equipment was held. He had dropped his spear here, and it was there, mounted and next to it his armour.
Red, with overlapping flexible metallic plates, it caused Lu Bu’s body to look slightly bulked up in comparison to how his muscled form normally stood, it had strange skirting on his sides to prevent him from being clipped from bullets around his hips, and it featured a full-face mask of a snarling man, with two large pony-tails spouting out of the top of his head, they were mostly cosmetic.
The armour was known by a relatively famous name, due to the information known of Lu Bu.
The Red Hare, the famous horse of Lu Bu, this armour was named after that horse which stood out amongst all others.
And like the Red Hare of the stories, his armour could carry him through any problems, boosting his defence and mobility.
He rarely fought with it out of a sense of pride. Not because he believed in a fair fight, or because he wanted to prove his strength without the armour…
But because Solomon hadn’t made it for him, he would not wear it. Her equipment was the only things he trusted.
You would think she would realize that Lu Bu wanted her to make him an entirely new set… or that she’d realize that Lu Bu both admired her and possibly loved her.
‘I guess I just have to shout it into her face when we meet next’ Lu Bu thought as he stood in place, waiting for the armour to be placed on his person.
Soon his field of vision was covered completely as the armour activated, the mask no longer blocking his vision as if it wasn’t even there.
The greatness of technology… not only was the armour powerful, it also lessened the burden on Lu Bu’s body that he constantly felt while awake.
Decked out completely in Red Hare, Lu Bu walked out to the docking bay where normally hover-jets and other vehicles dropped prisoners in, and occasionally a car or two.
There, he found Leviathan lounging on the roof of a Jeep, the car floating off of the ground slightly signifying that it was the modern version of what Odysseus was currently going around in.
At least it was olive green instead of neon pink though…
“Ah, you’re the first one here. Digging the red though, looks just like blood.” Leviathan said with a grin on his face as Lu Bu looked away, not wanting to deal with the psychopath.
The only thing Lu Bu truly wanted right now was to see Solomon safe. And speaking that out loud would get them to consider him compromised, he knew this.
“Gonna ignore me huh? That’s okay I guess, I’m used to silence after living in a literal bloody swamp for a few decades.” Leviathan said with an easy smirk, getting a glance from Lu Bu.
“Then again, I’m kind of egocentric. I know I’m an asshole, I accept that, and I also accept all of my faults, such as my habit to monologue.” Leviathan said with a chuckle.
“Yo, Lu Bu, you’re going to betray us, aren’t you?” Leviathan said making Lu Bu stare at him, careful to not show any tells.
“Again, you don’t need to answer, just think of this as me speaking my thoughts out loud.” Leviathan said as he sat up straight, looking into the hanger drive-way.
“I honestly couldn’t care less whether or not you betray us or not. It would piss of the boss lady sure, but I’m sure she wouldn’t mind in the end.” Leviathan’s words got a scoff from Lu Bu.
“I didn’t know walls could make noises… anyway, the boss lady won’t care. You think she will, but she won’t.” Leviathan said with surety in his words as he looked to his black left arm.
“Boss lady is like me in that she’s self-centred. The difference between her and me is that she honestly does not think it is possible for you to disturb her plans.” Leviathan said and then he glanced to Lu Bu, the smile on his face fading.
“Lu Bu. As long as you don’t go after me I won’t stop you… but the boss would kill you like swatting a fly. That’s what I meant when I said she won’t care.” Lu Bu kept quiet, but that wasn’t enough to hide his agreement.
Gilgamesh was strong, and dangerous.
“Ah, the transport is ready. Leviathan, get off of there and start driving.” Gilgamesh spoke out as she arrived to see Lu Bu standing with his ‘Fangtian Huaji’ waiting for her and Jaeger.
Gilgamesh was once more in the armour she wore when she met Leviathan and Jaeger, not wearing her usual black dresses, her armour was sleek and white, with glowing lines all over it.
It couldn’t be seen, but Lu Bu recalled Solomon speaking about Gilgamesh’s armour…
It was more appropriate to call it a weapon though, because the armour was not as powerful as the Red Hare set when it came to defence or even mobility.
But the armour was what generated the hard-light that Gilgamesh fought with, giving her the sharpest ‘blades’ on the planet.
There was also a compatibility issue. No one could wear the armour except for Gilgamesh, and that wasn’t just because she was a Lord or female.
There was a reason why Gilgamesh was the only one who could use the Hard Light Armour, but Lu Bu for the life of him couldn’t remember it at that moment.
The scariest thing about Gilgamesh wasn’t her armour though…
Her ability was terrifying, and Lu Bu would never want to face her because of it. There were limits that people could not surpass, and Gilgamesh seemed as if one of those limits was made flesh.
Killing Gilgamesh was nigh-impossible, and it was one of the main reasons that Lu Bu and Solomon never actually betrayed her… until now at least.
Now he just had to figure out why Solomon would betray Gilgamesh, or if she had even done so, given Gilgamesh was paranoid.
They were all shortly in the car, with Leviathan looking a bit confused at the hover controls, until he was reminded by Gilgamesh that they worked like normal cars, and then they were off, with Gilgamesh sitting alone right at the back of the car, Lu Bu in front of her and Leviathan and Jaeger sharing the two front seats.
“…” “…” given their silence, this seat arrangement was less than ideal if Lu Bu considered the rumours he had heard… Leviathan’s arm was prosthetic, that was obvious.
Jaeger was the one who destroyed it, and that sounded insane, given that he was a normal human, and yet Gilgamesh valued Jaeger more than she did Leviathan, and Leviathan and Jaeger always glared at each other or went into the current silence when near one another.
“John will be following us with the three Hell-Hound units and his own Warden suit, and he’s liable to arrive about half an hour after us.” Gilgamesh spoke up, caring not for the sensitive silence.
“During this half an hour, our job is simple. I will make contact with Behemoth and get him to obey us. We must keep the one known as Typhon away from Behemoth, lest he Stabilize Behemoth and ruin Behemoth’s size advantage.” Leviathan nodded at that even as their vehicle came closer to the entrance to Area twelve.
Leviathan personally understood that his ability was upgraded by Typhon, but his size which allowed him to destroy buildings easily vanished.
Behemoth and Jormungand both had abilities other than their size, but compared to Leviathan’s Blood Control they weren’t as good, so the increase would probably be minimal and worthless.
“I can handle Typhon, I’ve fought him three times before, and I’ve won two of those encounters, and this was before I got my new equipment.” Jaeger’s statement got wide eyes from Lu Bu, but given his mask no one noticed.
“Very well, you alone would be enough to handle Typhon, or at least keep him away from Behemoth. We must also consider little Aaron and his followers… Jaeger, there are thirteen of them?” Gilgamesh asked the most knowledgeable on the Chained in Tartarus since his information would be the most up to date.
“Not including Typhon, yes. He has the Minotaur, Sphinx, Cerberus, Satyr, Medusa, Cyclops, the three Hydra siblings, Typhon’s sister Echidna, Empusa and someone they called Manticore… he used to be Chimera though.” Jaeger said absently, not seeing Gilgamesh looking out the window while clenching her fist.
If it weren’t for her having killed him, she would dig up Krauss and kill him again for making a mistake like that involving mythology. If they were going to use mythological names, they should at least get it right.
Then again there were ones like Baal who were just given amazing abilities based off of media variations of their source myths.
Baal was not known for lightning powers, but that’s what the Doctor associated with the name and that’s what happened.
“There are those twelve, and another member from before you recruited me, apparently Aaron somehow recruited the Nemean Lion as well, making for all thirteen members that I know of…” Jaeger paused, slightly uncertain before he sighed.
“And knowing Aaron’s ability to recruit people to his side, there’s probably at least one or two more Ascended that joined. Lu Bu claimed that Charon fought against Solomon, so he’s most likely included by now.” Jaeger’s words got a frown from Gilgamesh as she considered the enemies.
“So we’re facing two Lords and about fifteen Ascended, sixteen if we include Jormungand who normally stays with Behemoth…” Gilgamesh concluded and that sounded like bad odds.
“Behemoth would be able to take care of Jormungand, though one or two of the Ascended might assist the serpent. That takes out one or two, let’s assume one.” Gilgamesh said as she considered their plans.
“Typhon is a versatile and dangerous opponent, so while Jaeger can fight multiple Ascended, leaving him alone against Typhon is a better idea, that’s two.” She then looked to Lu Bu, who had tilted his head to look at her.
“Lu Bu should be capable of defeating Sphinx, Nemean Lion and Cerberus due to having fought those three before.” Gilgamesh said and showed five fingers.
“That is five enemies removed from play with thirteen left. Well, it would prove challenging, even for me to fight that many… but we do not need to kill all of them.” Gilgamesh said with a small smile on her face as she looked outside the window at the passing scenery.
“We are just going to go recruit Behemoth and possibly remove little Aaron from the equation at the same time. The main objective is the first, and the other is secondary.” Lu Bu couldn’t remain quiet anymore and spoke up.
“Milady, isn’t Odysseus our main target, given the danger he poses to Tartarus?” Lu Bu’s question got only silence…
And then his jaw was grabbed, almost twisting his neck as his body rolled to follow the direction his head was being twisted in, facing Gilgamesh who had her smile disappear.
“Do not question my commands Lu Bu. You are only marginally less expendable than Jaeger, and he’s less expendable than any Ascended that obeys me.” Gilgamesh said, drawing a nod from Lu Bu before she let go of his jaw.
“Good, you understand the lesson once more. I refuse to explain why Odysseus is being given secondary importance.” Lu Bu noticeably kept his hands away from his chin.
It wasn’t a conscious thought, but the same idea that had an animal act as if it was fine in front of a predator.
To show weakness was to invite death… it was survival instinct that had Lu Bu not show further weakness.
“Jaeger, is there any noticeable Ascended of the Ars Goetia around, the Lesser Key?” Gilgamesh changed her attention to Jaeger who thought on the topic.
“Not many that we know of. The more famous Ascended were usually of the Greek variety for some reason. The only famous Ascended I know of from that group would be Baal… he killed my grandfather apparently.” Jaeger admitted, and Gilgamesh sighed.
“Knowing Solomon… if they can find Baal, they will persuade him to join them somehow. And considering who Baal is…” Gilgamesh looked a bit worried there… Lu Bu considered the Ascended and his name.
Baal was supposed to be an electricity user, basically splashing around bolts of plasma in some shape or form…
But he had never died, and so Baal was an Original meaning his real name would be known by Gilgamesh who had been around since Tartarus’ beginning.
Whoever he was, he worried Gilgamesh slightly. Not as much as Odysseus did when he did something unexpected, but Baal was also worrisome apparently.
Lu Bu kept thinking, considering, listening as Gilgamesh kept discussing with Jaeger about their enemies, occasionally getting input from Leviathan who added details occasionally.
Another notable bit of information was Typhon’s ‘black cat’ form, which apparently heightened his reflexes, speed and power…
At the expense of being something he couldn’t use often without possibly suffering brain damage.
“It’s unlikely he will use it… but if he does, then I don’t think anyone of us could fight him unless we consider your hard-light blades boss.” Jaeger admitted, and Gilgamesh cursed, looking away.
“I won’t be able to fight him either given he’ll be using Nano-tech to be covering his body. Hard-light interacts strangely with Nano-bots…” Gilgamesh admitted, getting a raised eyebrow from Lu Bu. Again, this couldn’t be seen, but his curiosity was piqued.
“Even then, he might not use it, and if he does he won’t be able to use it long unless he wants to spend a long time recovering… how long was he recovering from his first use?” Gilgamesh asked as Jaeger thought back to the information the Eyes of the Hunter gathered for him.
“He had apparently kept this form up for almost ten hours straight. He was left incapable of moving by himself for about three months.” That was news for everyone in the car.
“Huh… so let’s say an hour of use, on average, would cripple him for nine days. I estimate from a quick calculation that Typhon would probably only be capable of using the ability for about five or six minutes with minimal drawback.” Gilgamesh said with her eyes closed as she considered the information.
Lu Bu’s interface agreed, calculating in front of him to show her line of thought. Nine days consisted of two hundred and sixteen hours, meaning Typhon would be left in pain for two hundred and sixteen times the time he put in.
Five minutes was around eighteen hours of pain, which was minimal to an Ascended with a regeneration rate that Typhon had, he healed faster than others.
Not as fast as someone whose ability was based around regeneration of course, but Typhon had a noticeable speed to how fast he recovered from injuries.
“That’s just an estimate. If he goes over that limit, then he’ll probably go for as long as he can instead.” Gilgamesh admitted, and once more the topic was changed.
Soon, they found themselves arriving in front of a ‘stadium’ of some kind, and Lu Bu was made to get out of the car with the three other occupants.
“Ah, Melbourne… it’s been a long time.” Gilgamesh’s statement was met with confusion from all three of her subordinates as they followed her inside the stadium.
Now Lu Bu, for all of his bluster, was an honest person, at least with himself.
The sight of Jormungand and Behemoth terrified him more than they should, given that he would be capable of killing them himself while wearing Red Hare.
It would take time and luck, but he could do it… but seeing things that big freaked out anyone, and Lu Bu was not ashamed to say that the sight of the two, especially Behemoth, terrified him.
And it seems that they were noticed too, given the odd look Jormungand gave their group of four… which allowed the people already near them to turn and stare.
“Well, looks like they’re already here… I don’t see Odysseus or Solomon though.” Gilgamesh stated aloud as Jaeger confirmed the names of those he recognized.
Lu Bu was inwardly cursing though, noticing that Solomon wasn’t around for him to talk to at the moment, and that meant he would have to fight.
And given the looks Medusa was giving Gilgamesh, Medusa knew who she was, and she was quick to shout out warnings.
They couldn’t hear the warnings from where they were, but Jormungand and Behemoth’s replies were obvious.
“There’s no such thing as a brainwashing Chained!” Behemoth roared as Jormungand looked to his friend with confusion in his huge slit eyes.
“Behemoth, we don’t know everything…” there was a slur to Jormungand and his words but Lu Bu deciphered it easily as Jormungand being the cautious one between the two.
Unfortunately for the two of them, they encountered Gilgamesh.
A piece of metal rose to cover her mouth, actually acting as a megaphone to boom out her voice.
“Behemoth, as your Lord and master Gilgamesh, I demand you to attack Jormungand!” Now understand… it wasn’t a verbal command which caused the Chained to follow the orders of a Lord.
But without the voiced out command, the Chained would only know ‘I am being ordered’ and not know what the order was.
Behemoth, his eyes previously wide and showing intelligence, narrowed as he turned to his friend of over fifty years.
“Consider it done milady.” His words caused everyone in the stadium to freeze before Medusa shouted at her comrades who immediately moved as Behemoth slammed its shoulder into Jormungand, sending the massive serpent flying.
Lu Bu and the two other soldiers for Gilgamesh rushed forward at her command, Lu Bu finally close enough to hear Medusa belting out orders…
Of course, Medusa’s ability was suitable for interrogation and learning combat styles, both to use and how to combat against them…
It was based around memories though, and if the reports were to be believed, she was with Odysseus romantically. She had to have seen his memories at one point, and still ended up loving him surprisingly.
Lu Bu had to respect that, but he also had to dislike it now.
If Odysseus was the greatest tactician in Tartarus, Medusa was a close second due to the bleeding effect of her lover’s memories.
“Echidna, support Jormungand! Typhon, Jaeger’s coming with new equipment, intercept him! Charon, Manticore that’s Leviathan, handle him! Sphinx, Nemea, Cyclops, we’re on Lu Bu!” Her shout got Lu Bu quite irritated, knowing that he had fought two of those four before.
And both of them injured him to varying degrees.
Medusa was the worst opponent for him as an Ascended, and Cyclops would be protected by fighting with the one least capable of instantly killing him considering Jaeger and Leviathan.
“Here’s a word of advice. Plans don’t survive contact with the enemy.” Gilgamesh’s voice rang out as she ran just behind them, approaching the group of Ascended, with Jormungand wrapping his length around Behemoth’s leg, whipping the beast into the walls of the stadium, toppling the wall as he spilt out to the other side.
Echidna was notably with Jormungand, sending out blades which she used as anchors to pull herself quickly to a different position, sliding on her shoes along the grass.
Soon the four clashed against the seven, and Medusa cursed.
She had not mentioned Gilgamesh because honestly none of them could defeat her except for a combination of Charon and Typhon.
But Jaeger was dangerous enough that the only one capable of fighting him to a standstill was Typhon or possibly Echidna… meaning that Charon was best used against Leviathan, his ability to freeze things he grabbed helping him against Leviathan’s blood manipulation.
Manticore had also been working with his ability to belch fireballs and that would help against the blood, hopefully turning the substance into steam would combat it.
That left Medusa, Sphinx, Nemea and Cyclops. None of them could possibly guard against or defeat Gilgamesh at all.
The worst possible thing happened as Gilgamesh charged into Cyclops, body checking the old man flying a couple of metres away, and before Medusa could turn to help, Lu Bu swung his spear, the Nano-bots on the spearhead changing its shape into a halberd.
Medusa was forced to roll backwards on the floor as she flipped back up, looking at Lu Bu and the scowling mask… a matching expression for her own as she looked to Cyclops who had gotten into a boxing stance, Gilgamesh stalking towards him with a smirk on her beautiful face.
Medusa never wanted to kill someone as much as she did in that moment… but she couldn’t do that.
She couldn’t kill Gilgamesh. She couldn’t do that because Gilgamesh was immortal.
That’s when the Ferrari arrived.

How will the story of an Immortal and an reincarnated human in the form of weed play out in a wolrd where hate and despair, fear and desire rules over the hearths of humans? There will be at least three chapters a week for this. Any more chapters will depend on motivation and/or free time. This is an original novel by my person and it will contain a lot of philosophical ideas and thoughts I have and will get while writing this. Also be prepared for a lot of bad puns and humour as well completely messed up language. Also if anyone would want to proofread and fix my bad english please pn, I'm no native speaker so please have mercy at my tiny ego.

The Immortals of Pandora
Richard was a humble man from a good background that put him above majority of the people around him. He was in his thirties and married to a lovely woman that brought him joy. He had gone through difficulties and conquered them all to walk a path of success. Only success of greater proportions could be seen in his future and his child would be born in a perfect family. But, reality could be cruel mistress. Richard got into an accident and died a painful death. His death was not the end of his ordeal and Richard found himself in a new world, and with a new family. The new world was still in the medieval ages but it was not normal. Magic and monsters were normal, and people could become stronger with magical energy. Armed with the new power, Richard decided to grow strong enough to return back home to his family. Starting from a low point, Richard was put into a journey of epic proportions that required compromise and effort beyond what he had ever imagined. It was a world where immortals roamed and each path towards the top was filled with the stench of death. Mixture of Greek, Egyptian, Chinese, Japanese and Lovercraft.
