I get that everyone wanted the Princess to die in a more horrible way, but I never said that there weren't ANY survivors...I think...anyway, now you know! She is NOT dead yet! Hehehehe...for now...
Also, I will add more detail to this chapter later, I just don't have any time right now. Actually, I might rewrite this chapter at a later date, I have too many other things to do today.
P.S. Please tell me if I said that she didn't survive somewhere, I don't believe I specified her to be dead, but if I SPECIFICALLY said she was dead, then I need to fix it. Thanks!

I'm surrounded by a bunch of other monsters. Hmmm...it seems there are 12 of them...nice, I'll get some good experience off of them!
Right as I am contemplating this, a giant snake approaches me. It appears to be a mutation, since it has the appearance of a Lesser Basilisk but it has 4 arms! Huh, it appears to be the leader of the group.
Any last words? Don't worry, the experience we get from killing you will be put to good use!
Seriously? A Lesser Basilisk is threatening ME?

Yelling this, he charges at me at an astonishing speed! My reflexes kick in and I whip my tail around to counter his attack. However, my tail gets blocked by one of the henchmen, a Lesser Wyvern! What strength! Before I can react again, the mutant basilisk hits me full force with his 4 fists right in my neck!
OOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!
I didn't think it would hurt this much! Grrr...you'll pay for this!
I activate my death glare, but it gets negated by another one of the henchmen when he uses his own death glare! How is a Greater Basilisk on par with a King Basilisk!? Is it a variant?!

I then get rammed by 2 different henchmen, and I lose my balance, falling to the ground.
By the time I get up, I get struck by the mutant again! This time, I feel something inside me break! It hurts like HELL!!!!
I lunge out with all my remaining strength and swallow 3 of the henchmen who got too close. I then lose the little bit of energy I have left, and collapse, bleeding internally.
Wow...he's not dead yet...what a monster! Taking my strongest attack twice and even managing to kill 3 of us...huh?
The mutant then notices how the King Basilisk is glowing red and green.
W-why is he...glowing?
Panicked, the mutant jumps backwards, all his instincts screaming for him to RUN!!!!
Wait...that glow...is he the Champion of the Mad God?! And he has Yggdrasil's blessing TOO?!?! What have I done!?
Before he can even think another word, the mutant is gone. The henchmen look around, startled, and someone finally locates him: he's being swallowed alive by the King Basilisk!
Berserk mode...a mode that can only be activated by the Champion of the Mad God in a life-or-death situation. It grants the user insane power temporarily at the cost of their sanity. However, since Fear unknowingly received Yggdrasil's blessing, he healed once he went into berserk mode so he kept his sanity!
Before the other henchmen can react, they, too, are swallowed alive!
