Hey everyone, I was wondering whether I should post longer chapters with less frequency or shorter chapters like right now with more frequency. What do you all think? My body began to glow with an insanely bright light! I felt as the muscles in my body were destroyed and reformed, stronger than ever! My eyes grew huge, and then they split in half, giving me 4 eyes! My 3 horns on each side of my head which were sticking straight out curled backwards ever so slightly and I grew 6 more horns shaped in a circle on the top of my head, each on of them curving outwards to make hook. The horns on the sides of my head began to drip venom, which sizzled as it hit the floor and corroded it's way through the castle floors down to the ground. My entire body began to grow longer, and longer, and LONGER! I instinctively know that I am 115 feet long. My fangs grew to be a massive 10 feet long! However, they began to shrink all of a sudden! I then realized that I can control the size of my fangs to a degree! I also grew 3 more rows of normal teeth behind my current teeth. I noticed that each tooth dripped venom, just not a powerful as the fang's venom. I felt my scales grow harder and more durable, to the point where I felt that even a magic enhanced weapon such as the Holy Sword wouldn't be able to penetrate them! Suddenly, as my evolution finished, the light around my body blasted outwards generating a massive shockwave!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!
The entire castle imploded on itself as I had completely destroyed its foundations with my evolution! I heard the screams of the castle's residents as they died, crushed by the falling rubble and debris. I noticed the damn William Heptic in the corner, alive thanks to his armor. An evil smile formed on my face as I rushed towards him.
---William Heptic's POV---
We finally killed that monster!! The King arrived just in time to kill it! That damn beast crippled MY Alyssa and nearly killed ME! The great ME! How DARE he?!
Wait, what's that? NO WAY!! IT'S STILL ALIVE?!?! I GOTTA WARN THE KING!!
But before I could do that, someone had beaten me to it. However, the king was swallowed my that DAMN MONSTER!!
No way...it's CHEWING on the KING?!?! Snakes can't chew, yet it's doing just that, and it's evening smiling?!
...IT'S ENJOYING THIS?!?!
Suddenly, the monster began to glow, and I, along with everyone else, was hit with a massive shockwave. I died, but thanks to the Holy Armor I was revived. However, the first thing I see as I regain consciousness is...the basilisk.
Sh*t, that basilisk is too big...AND IT'S GRINNING AND COMING AFTER ME!!!
---End POV---
I rush at Nico's descendant and I wrap around him with my tail, crushing him slowly. He dies, but thanks to that armor he revives endlessly and then dies again slowly. I keep him wrapped up in my tail and I charge at the collapsing walls. I learnt a new feature of my fangs, the ability to spray my corrosive venom out of them. I used this ability to "spit" venom at the walls of the castle. I slither my way out, and am suddenly blinded by a bright light!
Crap, an enemy attack?! Where is it!?

Wait...why don't I feel any pain?
It then occurs to me...I'm an idiot. It's the sun!
I mentally facepalm myself and continue escaping from the castle, or what USED to be the castle!

...awesome...anyway, I need to get away from here before some damn monster slayer shows up!
Monster slayers are really powerful people that dedicate their whole lives to killing monsters. They often having the blessing of one of the gods or goddesses who hate the monsters, which makes them even MORE problematic!
Anyway, after slithering my way out of here, I notice that there is a huge forest nearby! It looks super ominous...PERFECT!
Once I enter the forest, I notice something unfortunate...it appears that Nico's damn descendant stopped reviving...and I crushed him beyond recognition...
NOOOOOOOO I WANTED TO GET PROPER REVENGE!!!
Before I can further lament about my loss, I hear a powerful voice...not as powerful as me though!
WHO'S DARES TRESPASS UPON MY TERRITORY?!
A large basilisk creeps out of the trees towards me. It has ruby red scales that appear to be EXTREMELY durable, purple eyes with T-shaped pupils, and appears to be about 40 feet long.
An Armored Basilisk, huh? YOU DARE INSULT YOUR KING?!
It was worth a shot...I mean, I AM a King Basilisk now...
I'M SO SORRY MY LORD! PLEASE FORGIVE THIS INSOLENT LITTLE SNAKE!

So, what do you guys think? His first encounter with another basilisk reveals that he is truly a king! Also, since I couldn't figure out a way to implement it in the story, I will tell you why his death stare didn't work last chapter. You see, the mc needs to consciously activate his death stare for it to work, it's not a passive skill. Anyway, thanks for reading!
