Leos: “...It’s fine…”

Mr. Reeds: “With that finished, Elijah and Ian. You are both finished with your homework, correct?”

Elijah: “Just about. I already finished the Essay and was getting some extra studying in. But I only have one more page left to complete this chapter. Is there something wrong?”

Ian: “I’ve been done. I was just quizzing myself to pass the time. Why?”

Mr. Reeds: “Your homeroom teacher asked me to have you both meet he and Noel in the building’s lobby. He has a special assignment for the three of you that don’t need anymore studying for your academic subjects during this and other free periods.”

Elijah: “Oh? So then, Noel left because he wanted to… find Mr. Abrams?”

Ian: “Maybe he was called over by Mr. Abrams somehow and quickly left, forgetting to tell anybody? I see, I see… I’ll head on over immediately!”

Elijah: “Wait for me, I’ll finish up this chapter real quickly and be done with my studying for the day.”

Ian: “Okay.”

Alyandrea: “...So, what WAS the reason Noel left for then? Was it because of this… project… thing? Or was he only roped into it after the fact? Like, given something to do after getting caught?”

Mr. Reeds: “Hohoho~ it seems your little classmate got bored and sought Mr. Abrams out for something to do! He told that popular teacher of yours that studying stuff he already knows and sleeping during free period were ‘a waste of his time’~ Hohohohoh! This special assignment is to research something special. If anybody else reaches a point in their academic level where studying your year’s curriculum is gleamed as wasteful, then you too, can take part in this research matter. But only after you’ve finished your homework. Study up~ Hohoh!”

Alyandrea: “...Wait, what?”

Li Shun: “*Holds back chuckle*

…Wait…

...Stop...I can’t…!

Hehehehehe…! You… you got so worked up over him being depressed, and made that whole speech to show us all that he’s probably more delicate than the rest of us, yet here we are finding out…

...Hehehehe…!”

Alyandrea: “Aaah, shut up, shut up! Isn’t it fine that he’s okay?! He was just bored… I fucki—I mean, flipping, worried over nothing!!

(Give me my tears back, you dumb little-!)

But… that’s fine! That’s okay, because with him being unaffected by this level of tension, then I have less to worry about our class facing those Realism student bullies.”

Aria: “Heehee~ Alyandrea is really so very kind~ You’re like our class’s big sister!”

Alyandrea: “*Blushes* Well, heheh. I try...”

Ian: “*Grumbles* Pft, What big sister. She just has a bad attitude… *grumbles**

Alyandrea: “Mm! I do NOT have a bad temper, I am just mature for my age and RESPONSIBLE! Got it?!?!!”

Ian: “Meep! Yes! Yes ma’am!”

Ophelia: “I see. So he was only bored. Thinking back, he seemed a little impulsive like this. Heheh… it matches him.”

Elijah: “OKAY! Okay… Hahahaha…

All that matters is that your classmate is okay, right? I, along with Ian, will go ahead and meet him in the lobby. We indeed, overreacted a little. But I still believe Aly’s suspicions and worries were the right call. If we always ignore possible problems and constantly overlook possibilities that could very well manifest in reality, no matter how unlikely they may seem, such as those rounds of invading killers earlier this week that somehow broke into a highly defended school such as ours, we may be taken by surprise again. I… don’t want to see that happen. Not ever… *Clenches fist* No, never again.”

Wayne: “…Hey, Leos. Are you okay? You don’t look so good.”

Leos: “…I’m fine.

(I thought so. I figured as much, considering his cruel personality. Someone like him wouldn’t ever flinch away from bullies. He’d rather eradicate ‘em! Still, I really wanted Alyandrea to be telling the truth…)”

Mr. Reeds: “Okay, settle down and continue studying, please. There is a whole period and a half left for you kids to take advantage of.”

Class 3 – C in unison: “Okay~!”

Rise: “Pfff~ Ahahaha! Everybody got worried over nuthin’! Here you all were feeling sorry for the brat, when he snuck away out of boredom~ Ahaha! I bet that slap to your faces doesn’t feel to good, does it? Ahahaha~”

Everyone else: “…(This guy…)”

Ian and Elijah quickly packed up their things and left their homeroom, hurrying down to the front lobby. There they found Noel lazily debating with their homeroom teacher: Mr. Abrams.

Noel: “Like I said… I don’t NEED a babysitter – especially not two of them and ESPECIALLY not classmates!”

Mr. Abrams: “Hmm? Who said anything about babysitting? I believe the exact wording I used with you was protecting and either way, they also deserve to do something new and innovative, seeing as they both finished their homework and some extra studying. It won’t hurt to take them along. Furthermore… You have no choice.”

Noel: “Mmm! Fine then! I already agreed anyways, but after thinking about it a little, I can’t help but suspect that you don’t trust me or something.”

Mr. Abrams: “*Shrugs* That’s because I don’t. After all, twice you were at the scene of a crime during the first week of High school. How should I feel knowing this? That your fate is to cause trouble for Hero High?”

Noel: “But… but Mr. Abrams I’m innocent! I’M THE VICTIM HERE! Everyone is just targeting me! Fate… Fate hates me!”

Ian: “...What are they doing? Putting on a show?”

Elijah: “… *AHEM! Hello teacher Abrams. Are we… perhaps, interrupting?”

Mr. Abrams: “Nah, classmate Noel here is just being a brat.”

Noel: “Hello everyone. pleasant day we’re having. Are you ready to set off? I can’t wait until we start the project, so let us get going!”

Mr. Abrams: “…”

{Hehehe, since I can’t do anything about the teacher’s decision, nor his distrust in me, I’ll can only settle for making him look stupid! See?! They might’ve overheard a sentence or two just now, but so what? Mr. Abrams dug himself a pit by claiming I was being a brat, and expecting me to prove his point by complaining! So if I act like I’m excited for their tag-along… hehe… no matter what, he’ll look like he was proven wrong by my actions!}

Mr. Abrams: “…(How petty. And why am I arguing with a child anyways?)”

Ian: “...Are you...sure? You sounded a bit… unhappy just now.”

Noel: “Ah, that? It’s over something else. Me being worried that you guys would prefer studying than tagging along with my personal request is all.”

Elijah: “...’Personal Request’? Noel, you requested this trip? What for?”

Ian: “Yeah, where are we going, what are we supposed to be doing?”

Mr. Abrams: “I have a research study I would like you three to perform. It is the study on… Ahem, the study on humans. More specifically, adapting to high school life. Noel here has been home-schooled away from people, so he wanted to do this and ‘learn’ what he doesn’t already understand. Anyways you three are free to wander around and survey the vicinity of three thousand Kilometers around this building. Take these passes form me, verifying my authority to grant you free roaming. I will pick you all up wherever you happen to be, once free period is over. Elijah, you still have my phone number, correct?”

Elijah: “Ye… Yes, I do. Of course. It hasn’t been that long since I last trained with Rhys. Back when I still… had my powers. An-Anyways – let’s get going! I’m curious to see what the school campus is like, I never really got the chance to visit and explore the high school campus before I was forced to switch curriculum from SuperHero focused to Non - Combatant focused. Where shall we head to first?”

Ian: “Ooh – Ooh! I have a map of the entire school campus and always keep it with me! That way, if I’m ever involved in another school invasion, I can figure out a safe route out of here.”

Elijah: “Oh~ Brilliant! Nice Ian, let’s use that to find a nearby spot to start our research.”

Noel: “Mmm… but if the villains DO invade, wouldn’t blocking all possible escape routes and surrounding the building be one of the very first things they think of?”

Ian: “...Dang-it, that’s true! Aaah, what should I do then? Maybe use it to find a hiding place, I suppose. Probably.”

Elijah: “Ahaha, Ian just think of it this way, having one is far better than NOT having one. A map, I mean. You can also find a shortcut route all the way to the Hero Division or Security. Those two places should have very powerful heroes or super soldiers stationed in them at all times. They should be capable of helping you-- us.”

Noel: “Even though WE need their protection most of all...but forget it. Whatevs.”

Mr. Abrams: “… Well then, you three have fun. I’ll come find you in a little under two hours.”

*Vwish!*

Ian: “Noel, do you have a map? Otherwise, how were you planning to find your way around?”

Noel: “I was just going to pick a random direction and start moving over there. Going whichever direction I feel like going, turning whenever I feel like turning, and stuff.”

Ian: “...Okay.”

Elijah: “What about if you get lost?”

Noel: “Hehe, then I just keep on exploring until Mr. Abrams picks me up and brings me back to class or to the dormitory.”

Ian: “That’s – that’s so reckless!”

Elijah: “...Haha. Well regardless, we should hurry and choose a direction. Ian, the map?”
