《Birth of an AntiHero》Chapter 130 – Painful Memories Part 7

Ms. Daisy: “Hey you-you’re bleeding! He’s bleeding! Why?! What happened to him?!”
Georgia: “I dunno. All that I saw was his eyes turn ‘glowy’ before they started to bleed…”
Wuce: “Should – should we help him? Maybe heal him a little…?”
Mr. Abrams: “...No need.”
The handsome teacher closed his strained eyes. His eyes and nose both leaked a little trace of blood like scarlet discharge. There was something evil about that...glimpse, of whatever he saw in this kid’s soul. Something terrifying, even compared to the 10 families.”
Mr. Abrams: “(What the fuck was that? What…l was forcibly transported to a black, empty space. And within that empty void of a realm, what I saw was...a crack? A horizontal crack, no bigger than a human’s head. However this crack, it was sharply curving at each end.
…like an inconsiderate, mocking grin… and the pure pressure it gave off, the force alone was suffocatingly ruinous.)
...*Cough – Cough*...How much time has passed? It couldn’t have gone past 15 sec-”
Ava: “3.”
Mr. Abrams: “...P-Pardon?”
Ava: “Only 3 seconds have passed us by since your eyes glowed. After they did their glowy thing, they started to bleed. We were about to move when you spoke up and stopped us.”
Winney: “Did you overdue your ocular ju—I mean hahaha! Your eye technique thing? They were bleeding and everything! It was a sad sight~”
Mr. Abrams: “No. My ‘Ocular technique’ was not overspent nor was it overused. I just encountered something... horrifying...deep inside of him.”
Ms. Daisy: “You okay hun? Do you wanna take a break? Sit down and relax for a few seconds?”
Mr. Abrams: “No can do. I can’t relax now...not for what’s coming."
Ms. Daisy: “Hm? What’s coming?”
Mr. Abrams: “...Forget I said anything Ms. Daisy. *Rubs temples* I’m only rambling because today has been a bit rough on me compared to ordinary orientation days. Even more so, for my students.”
Ava: “Do you have an answer though? About what that thing you saw was, that made such a famous magician like you define it as ‘horrifying’??”
Mr. Abrams: “I don’t know. I can’t answer that question. It didn’t look like anything, but there was clearly something there. But…”
Wuce: “’But’?”
Mr. Abrams: “But make sure that nobody touches this boy right here - *Points to Noel* - His memories. Enforce it among every nurse and medical staff, as well as the counselors and any ‘guests’ that tamper with a person’s mind. I don’t want to see another accident, and this may very well be a ‘trap’ placed inside him for us to stumble upon. Luckily it was only me that faced it.”

Wuce: “How cryptic…”
Georgia: “Alright then. Thank you for the warning. I- no, WE will pass it on to the proper faculty members. And speaking of: is there any-”
Mr. Abrams: “Solution? No, I think not. Not yet anyway. I’m going to add it on top of my growing list of things to take care of today. Gods above, this day feels like it just never ends.”
With a thought, he was gone. Leaving the confused nurses behind. One however, looked as if she couldn’t concentrate on her work Noticing this, Ms. Daisy asked her to stop.
Ms. Daisy: “Georgia honey, stop what your doing- no, stop it dear! You almost killed him! What’s wrong? I know he’s a villain, but it’s our job to HEAL him remember? Not to take away his life. That’s for the police to worry about, along with them prosecutors.”
Georgia places her medical equipment down before taking a deep breath. She looks toward some of her fellow nurses and asks a single question.
Georgia: “It could just be a coincidence...but…”
Winney: “Did something happen?”
Ms. Daisy: “Oh no! Is the killer gonna be okay? Move over and let me see.”
Georgia: “Nothing is wrong with the patient. He...the killer is fine. But, that man from before; Mr. Onareilam...Did he say?”
Wuce: “Yeah. Strange fellow…”
Winney: “Strange? Yes...but still~ He is damn cute. He’ll definitely become popular with the ladies around here. I better catch him first!”
Ms. Daisy: “Hmph! What a dumb topic.”
Ava: “What about him, Georgia? What was so important that it got in the way of your professional work and almost cost a patient their life?”
Georgia: “……...Well, try - try saying his name backwards...”
Ms. Daisy: “…”
Ava: “…”
Wuce: “...”
Winney: “...”
…
*Vwish!*
Going back in time a bit. The children each picked out their own rooms. The dorm had all of its windows sealed by some form of metal. The kids were quite literally in a lock-down situation the very instance they got teleported to the lobby.
Ronald: “I’m going to pick my room out first. *Yawn* Today was so boring…”
Alyandrea: “Hey! How DARE you complain about the day being boring after so much has happened! From the assembly where we learned just how badly EVERYBODY hates us, to the orientation games where Muscle King Harvey actually LOST! Twice!! The entire arena fell apart! How was that boring?! Or are you saying that villain attack wasn’t entertaining enough for you? The one where I fucking DIED?! I’m sorry my death wasn’t enough to satisfy you, ya fucking prick!!!

Oh...wait! Aren’t you the guy that embarrassed himself with his cringey ‘remember me’ speech earlier this morning?
Pffft!
No wonder why you’re so salty. I don’t know if I’d be able to handle it.”
Ronald: “Haha…”
Alyandrea: “You-You’re laughing? Are you seriously laughing at everything that I pointed out?? You fucking basta--!”
Ronald: “AHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHA!”
Aly: “Eeew…! *Shivers* Why are you laughing...? *Takes a step back* Stop it you fucking moron!”
Elijah: “AHEM!! Excuse me, um...Donald, was it?”
Ronald: “No, it’s--”
Eren: “His name is Ronald! Ronald Reyes: my classmate. Ronald has a strange way of behaving around others and maybe he’ll step on a few toes here and there; but I vouch for him! He means well, honest!”
Ronald Reyes: “…”
Elijah: “Well I’m sorry, Ronald. I will take much better care from now on at remembering your name. Ronald Reyes...I wanted to ask you a quick question before you go, Ronald. Would it be alright if I had a go at picking out a few bedrooms first? Not for myself, you see, but for the three classmates of mine currently undergoing surgery. I promise to let you pick yours out before even I get to choose.(Not that I care which room I get stuck with anyway).”
Ronald: “...Alright.”
Eren: “Ah! Great idea! Why don’t you all get first pick, Class 3 – C? You DID originally have your bedrooms all sorted out before the umm...before... the… (Oooh darn it! I don’t know how to word it without it coming out as a little passive – aggressive...I think. I hope I am wrong...) before the… you know… the att- attack.“
Elijah: “No no. It’s completely fine. We aren’t kids anymore we don’t need first pick, right guys…?”
Ian: “Speak for yourself! I’m choosing my room again and NOBODY is taking it from me!”
Brennan: “Well I – I kind of don’t want my old room anymore. Not after the villains came and attacked us. I think I’ll go on to choose a different room.
...But I still want first dibs! I will happily take that gift from all the other classes!”
Elijah: “...You guys… they’re just rooms. They all look the same. Do you have to behave so childishly?”
Wayne: “I can’t speak for the others, but… my reason for wishing to choose a room first is so I can re-choose my originally picked room; the one that brought me good luck in escaping unnoticed by those bloodthirsty mercenaries! That room is my favorite now.”
Elijah: “...Alyandrea, can I bother you to choose the rooms which Aria, Ophelia and Oliviera first picked out for themselves? I can’t go because I’m a boy and you ARE the only female representative of our class that isn’t hospitalized."
Alyandrea: “What – NO. Why should I have to-”
Mrs. Haldeen: “That is a great suggestion Eren! Alyandrea and Elijah: you both will be Male and Female representatives respectively for your class’s missing members. Remember to pick wisely! I hope you recall where they were originally situated. It may not be the exact same view as before, but this will have to suffice for now.”
Alyandrea: “...Fine.(That fatty better be thankful!)”
Elijah: “...Haha, thank you so much for agreeing Aly, and thank you as well Mrs. Haldeen! For...uh...helping her agree to choosing bedrooms for the remaining three.”
Mrs. Haldeen: “Now. Attention everyone! Mr. Pierce will oversee the boys and I will remain in the girls’ dorm. Please do work hard at following our directions. We will do our utmost at keeping all of you safe, starting now. I realize that it’s been a strange, difficult and extremely dangerous first day for all of you – But I ASSURE each and every one of you that this is NOT normal. Here at Hero High School, we sport one of the absolute best security measures around. There is usually NO way a villain can get through us. Normally, anyways. So please, trust in us and focus on having a wonderful and fun first Semester~”

Upheaval - The Gentle Apocalypse
The world is changing, but people carry on. Early in the summer, the world started changing. It is not known who first found out, but magic was real, or had become real. Of course, with the world as interconnected as it is, it took only two days for most people to know about it. Online groups sprang up, eager to test humanity’s collective new toy. Quickly, it was found out that it was all but harmless; there were (unconfirmed) reports of deaths as soon as the first day. Nevertheless, it is a novelty to most, trying it out like you’d try sports or a game. The world marches on as scientists set out to study this new phenomenon, to use it for furthering our collective knowledge and to understand it. But that won’t show any results any time soon; it is only five days since the “Reveal” meanwhile I’m out camping. I had planned this since March, to unwind from sixteen years of studying. Finally! Finally I am done with school! Getting a job is another matter… So I figured, with this magic stuff, why not try out meditating on it? I’ve enjoyed more than enough books and other media that at least some of the magic methods should be viable. Turns out, the world might not let me relax. R15+ Coarse language and adult themes. This story is finished.

Words I Left Unsaid
"Like a treasure map in a bottle, We were slowly drifting apart, Mother Nature sailing our purpose out to sea, The more I got to know you, I realised how much of a hoax your devotion was, Almost as fake as the smile I paint across my shattered face."This collection of poetry releases trauma in the form of expression - mainly the words I could never build up the courage to say. Most of these poems present conflict of the mind and allude to mental health struggles, which may be relatable to a certain community of people.Ranks -#3 in poem#3 in poembook#8 in poetry collection #7 in sadpoems#6 in poemcollection #7 in wisdom #15 in poetic
