Principal Leyman: "Please welcome Class 3-C's (temporary) Class Representative..."

As the students were all enveloped inside of the bright, white light Mr. Abrams gave off, they closed their eyes... only to reopen them once the light gave out and see a massive stage, an equally massive crowd before it, and the curtain-covered area they all landed inside of – which was located behind the stage and sealed off from intruders. This curtain actually allowed them to see outside, but they didn't know that it still prevented prying eyes from trying to investigate those within. Well, Mr. Reeds was about to brief them about it, just to make certain they don't leave the curtain's shelter.

Essentially nobody could see them, so long as those people are on the opposite end, that is.

Mr. Reeds: "Okay, Mr. Abrams already walked up the stage, are you ready Elijah? They can't see us back here, but we can see them. Have you adjusted yourself to the crowd?"

Alyandrea: "Wait! The principal, said that only ONE of us would do a self introduction... does that mean that the rest of us don't have to do one??"

Mr. Reeds: "Seems like it."

Ian: "WOOHOO!"

Alyandrea: "No!!! I wanted to get up on that stage and announce to all of those judgmental arse-wipes that I was gonna surpass them all and be #1! Or something. What a stupid-"

Ian: "ly WONDERFUL change! I'm SO happy that I don't have to be made fun of up there~ Woohoo! Hahaha!"

Aly: "If you don't shut up shortie I'll push Tub-a-rella back on top of you!!"

Oliviera: "..."

Ian: "Meep!"

Aly: "Hmm? Hey: Where's your usual snap-back? Haha, did you finally-"

Oliviera: "*Turns away*..."

Alyandrea: "...What, don't tell me that you're-"

Mr. Reeds: "Elijah? I asked if you were ready to go on stage."

Elijah: "*Inhales then Exhales* Phew...yes. Sorry! I was calming down my nerves. I...I'm finally ready."

Oliviera: "...Goo- Good luck, Elijah."

An indecisively spoken few words delivered to his tense eardrums, actually managed to help calm those strained nerves of his. Elijah turned around with a genuine smile and thanked her, making the suddenly-reserved chubbette blush.

Elijah: "Thanks to you Oliviera, I'm feeling prouder than ever! I'm ready to prove to them that I don't need-"

Principal Leyman: "Please welcome Class 3-C's (temporary) Class Representative...Noel Tyler!"

Elijah: "Tha....That I don't need to go up! Ahahaha...ha...ha..."

Elijah was frozen with embarrassment. Why did he assume they'd call him? Because the teacher's told him so! They set him up! How humiliating! Well, at least he didn't have to go up on stage, it seems.

He wasn't the only person shocked. Even Oliviera, Alyandrea, Ian, Wayne, Li Shun, Brennan as well as both teachers on and off the stage, Mr. Abrams and Mr. Reeds, were all surprised.

Aria was partly shocked, but only because the teachers made it sound like he was the definite choice. Nothing more, really.

Ophelia, Leos and Rise didn't see it as that big of a deal for everybody to react over. Of course, they all have special circumstances that prevented them from ever knowing about how "Amazing" the formerly undefeated Prince of shades truly used to be.

.

.

.

As for Noel?

Well... when he first teleported here, he noticed that he was currently being glared at from behind. Mr. Abrams was going up the stage stairs, Mr. Reeds was listening to the current principal's speech, and the kids were all feeling overwhelmed from the massive crowd before them.

Both nuisances are out of the picture! - They both cockily thought, however... only one of them reacted fast enough to follow through with this statement.

Obviously, that was Noel.

With blindingly fast footsteps, he vanished from his original position and appeared eerily close to Leos's left ear. Only then, did Leos realize how badly he fucked up.

Confronting him? Getting answers? What was I thinking?! Where did such confidence come from? This kid was the "Unforgivable Watts's" final experiment project! I honestly don't have ANY idea if it was a success or failure, and I don't wanna know, but either way, it ended in a boy's disappearance, and a dead professor.

Why would he openly confront this killer?

.

.

.

.

Because he wanted answers, yes, but also...

It was OBVIOUSLY due to the teachers protecting him! Why would they be 'nuisances' if they were all of the protection he had?!

Leos: "Dammit, I'm friggin' stupid...so friggin' stupid! I'll die here... this is where he kills me... ends m-"

Noel: "We can talk when the others aren't around. If you have any questions, I'll answer them then. For now, let's pretend we don't know each other...okay? Because honestly, we really don't. Heheh."

Without waiting for a response, he sped back to his spot behind Ophelia, his wonderful cover, and pretended to be shocked by the crowd.

Yes, pretended... that is, until they called his name on stage.

...Now he was feeling just as shocked as Elijah. Representative? Wasn't he supposed to be a mere harmless, random young classmate that goes unnoticed by everyone?

What 'representative' nonsense is this?!

Principal Leyman: "Mr. Abrams? What's the matter? Why are you looking back at your class?"

Mr. Abrams: "Oh no reason...Just ….watching over my class, like always. I'm surprised. Why did you call for Noel?"

Principal Leyman and Mr. Abrams were both speaking telepathically at the moment. It wasn't a power either of them possessed, but a uniquely made artificial blue-green crystal embedded into a ring. Two people with the same stone can temporarily speak like this, but this brittle crystal shatters if overused. It's also extremely tough on the creator, so production is low with a high price. Not many think it's worth it. At least, most people don't think it's a sensible replacement for cellphones.

Principal Leyman: "Because that vixen couldn't possibly have information on him, even if there is a spy working for her within our grounds! And that's because he's a Malierano!"

Mr. Abrams: "...You knew?"

Principal Leyman: "Of course I knew! Boman and I go way back. That forever softie. But it looks like the family isn't moving. Those two oddballs must've plotted this together or something. A cute move like that often happens when they grow 'curious' of the scenery outside the nest. There have been multiple cases like this one in the past for both myself and my predecessors. It's why I was forced to memorize certain faces from the 10 families that largely go unnoticed: All three of our schools have probably done this to ensure we aren't taken by surprise during an unforeseen event or crisis, there was a situation 12 years ago where the Korpela Family and the Fall Family used our precious school as a battle ground over some squabble their kids started. Those bodyguards were surprisingly high level, but considering they're a financial powerhouse, I should've suspected as much. Maybe within a few years, they can give us a bunch of fresh heroes like the Ericsons! Hahaha."

Mr. Abrams: "(Hm? Wait, does he...know about their true nature or not?) Principal answer me one question: What are the malierano family known for?"

Principal Leyman: "Humph! Don't take me for a fool!"

Mr. Abrams: "...Sorry Princ-"

Principal Leyman: "Naturally, they're known for their hands in developing public facilities! Working for the governments of small nations along the edge of Spes Nova, and Herotopia alike! Unlike the Ericsons that focus almost exclusively on producing 'Heroes' every generation, the Malieranos don't really have a 'specialty'.

HOWEVER!

*Whispers* From what my predecessor told me in confidence, their family might sometimes dabble into some shady things..."

Mr. Abrams: "(His knowledge is incomplete.

Haah, if all that family could do was build bathrooms or distribute funds for schooling, they wouldn't be able to reign over the crime world as one of its kings; murdering or stealing whatever they like, without a trace leading back to them. Sometimes this man can be incredible, and sometimes he's just as useless.)

...Okay, then if you knew about him, exactly WHY did you give him to me? Isn't Mr. Pierce all about those with money? They're a perfect match! Also why are there so many problem children in my class?!"

Principal Leyman: "Gwahahahah! That kid'll just be spoiled by him. Besides You're a great teacher, eh? Mr. Popular~

I had two main rules for choosing your Class 3-C students: 1) They had to show some kind of potential. 2) They seemed troublesome at the same time. Only you could handle this, super teacher~"

Mr. Abrams: "...Then, did you also know he stopped---err...I mean paid, some kids this morning to make them leave, JUST so they could stop ganging up on the buff girl? And you did nothing?"

Principal Leyman: "...No, I didn't. I can't be everywhere, like you can."

Mr. Abrams: "Then... what about a place you were SUPPOSED to be protecting?! Just earlier you fell asleep, letting that girl WALTZ right on by while destroying the door in the process – and yet you STAYED sleeping?!"

Principal Leyman: "..We'll talk about that matter later. I didn't let her walk by on purpose like you think. I honestly fell asleep. That's what's so strange. I NEVER fall asleep while on duty. Well, unless I'm genuinely tired... At least I know that normally I would have woken up if that explosion happened on my watch!"

Mr. Abrams: "...Well, conspiracy theories aside, did you really give me ALL of the problematic children? Because I noticed somebody strange..."

Principal: "I gave you all the promising ones. That's all I'm going to say."

Mr. Abrams: "...Then-"

Random Male student #1: "HEY! Where is he?! That NOEL kid that you introduced never came!"

Random Female student new #1: "Principal Leyman!! If YOU think that we will all sit quietly AS YOU KEEP LEERING AT OUR MR. ABRAMS, then PREPARE FOR WAR!"

Principal Leyman: "..."

Mr. Abrams: "...That's... true. Haha. Our conversation was pretty long. Where the hell is that puny punk?"

.

.

One of the main problems with this Telepathy Ring accessory: it's very hard to use it while not making eye contact with the one that you're talking to - unless you train really hard at maintaining the mental connection while completing other tasks... and you must still take precautions not to overuse and break it.

Principal Leyman has clearly not yet mastered this complicated item...
