《Birth of an AntiHero》Chapter 49 – A High School's beginning Part 1

{Breathe? That's right. Breathe... calm down. Just... calm... myself.... down.
.
.
.
...Phew. I can't make a scene. I promised Da-err, Father, that I'll keep my ties to the family a secret. I swore to Boman that I'll behave.
...But still, how does he know? Has someone been tracking me or something?
He couldn't be a survivor...right? I thought everybody died...
No. Wait. There were some. Big Sis Bea secretly told me that she had been keeping tabs on a few survivors, like, 15 or so, in case they mentioned me while trying to recall any repressed memories of Professor Watts.
…but I saw all of their profiles, all 15 of the ones she's been monitoring! He's not there, I memorized them all!
She couldn't have made a mistake... so then, what exactly is going on? Is Aeron involved in this somehow? Yeah, first he shows up - even though he didn't know that I had Father's permission, largely thanks to Boman's awesome skills. THEN this guy that somehow survived manages to show up in the exact same school and class as me? Just – Just what is happening to me? }
…
Leos: "(It's him.
It has to be. Look at his reaction: from the mere mention of 'Unforgivable Watts'... he got scared! I can finally get some answers for myself, for Rebeccah...for Chuma and for Fa-)"
Mr. Abrams: "Watts? ...Oh. Haah, I see what's going on. Look Leos: this right here, what you're currently experiencing... well, it's called a relapse."
Leos: "...."
Mr. Abrams: "Yes, and you were doing so well too. A shame, really..."
Leos: "Sir...I don't know who you are, but-"
Mr. Abrams: "Abrams. Houdini Abrams, Mr. Abrams is completely fine, though."
Mr. Reeds: "Leos, I remember explaining to you both that we were going to be meeting up with the rest of our new class, right?"
Li Shun: "I think I slightly remember it."
Leos: "...Yes."
Mr. Reeds: "This man is your official homeroom teacher."
Both: "Not you?"
Mr. Reeds: "I'm merely an assistant teacher to help him watch over you all."
Mr. Abrams: "Pffft. Ha-ha! That may be the case officially, but don't any of you dare take him for granted! This man right here has been one way or another, associated with this school for decades longer than I have. Do NOT underestimate what you all can learn from him."

Mr. Reeds: "I'm flattered."
Leos: "Fine, then Mr. Abrams. I would like to point out that this is NOT A RELAPSE! I know fully well that the... the madman's killer is-"
Mr. Abrams: "Haaah, it seems I'm going to have to file up a written report that you're unwell. Think about it calmly, Leos. What are the honest chances of meeting a killer both the same age as you, AND that happened to be involved in the same currently trending 'unsolved incident' as you were, without any heroes noticing?(Wait a minute. Those bastards wouldn't have...)-
Leos: "(I know what it looks like, I know! But..!) But I gave the killer's description to the-"
Suddenly, the Well-groomed Homeroom teacher turned his head in the very direction both groups were initially heading towards. His eyes appeared cloudy and bright for but a mere moment, before returning to his former self once again.
Mr. Abrams: "Ah, shit-oops, I mean shoot! Class 2-B is already leaving the stage!"
Oliviera: "Somebody help me already -*FLASH* Oh."
with a flash of his eyes, Oliviera blinked before she realized she was actually now standing right beside him.
Ian and Brennan were helped up by Alyandrea, but both were still struggling to stand.
Rise glared daggers toward Leos's direction, before turning away in a huff.
Ophelia received treatment by Mr. Reeds, however it was an ordinary burn ointment he applied for her, and the injury she recieved seemed to have been a wound caused by magic. She would still feel the pain, albeit lessened, until they could visit a nurse.
Brennan: "Ah, I can't feel my leg anymore. At least, thanks to that random shout earlier, I forgot all about the pain..."
Aria: "Stop... JUST STOP TALKING...huh?"
Aria looked all around, and in turn, noticed almost everybody staring back at her. her naturally light cheeks reddened with embarrassment, and if one were to gaze very closely at her eyes, they'd see a single star outline, fade deep inside her irises.
Aria: "S...Sorry.."
Aly: "N-No, it's fine. Don't worry 'bout it. Everyone was kinda..."
Wayne: "He said Watts...somebody... could there be somebody here that... maybe they are the same person that murdered Victoria's pop? I've gotta speak to – oof!"
Ian: " Sorry, I feel kinda wobbly. I'll get better shortly, just, please stand still for a bit so I could regain my balance...would you?"

Wayne: ".....Okay."
Leos: "...Fine. I give up. Sorry Teacher. I was wrong – I mean, mistaken. I thought I saw the killer here, because, there's somebody in the group over there that looks...and sounds, ODDLY SIMILAR to him."
Oliviera: "HIM?! OH MY LEECHUMS, THAT ALREADY ELIMINATES LIKE, THREE OF THE ONES THAT REACTEWDMPHHH!"
Mr. Abrams: "Don't stir the pot. Leos I forgive you, but you better apologize properly to those that felt accused, once we're done with this 'introduction' shit--er-thing. Okay, does everyone remember what we have to do? Elijah, are you prepared to face them all during your self intro? Unfortunately, there's a high chance that your former acquaintances will be there."
Elijah: "...*Gulp* Phew, Okay. I'm – I'm all set, I'm ready. No matter how much they laugh or sneer, I won't allow it to get to me! ...I hope."
Oliviera: "Heeheehee, that's it! I'll know who this new boy was speaking to once I overhear who he apologizes to! Heeheehee, this is perfect~"
Ian: "He SAID to apologize to those that FELT ACCUSED not to those that he accused..! Clean out your ears...and...and lose some weight!"
Oliviera: "...."
…
Silence could represent countless emotions.
A sense of 'Indifference'...
A state of 'Calmness'...
or even silently withheld 'Rage'...
…
Sometimes, however....a complete silence could represent feeling pained, sorrowful or lonely.
Sometimes... you happen to feel all three.
Feelings of sorrow, pain, and loneliness – all repressed into a chaotic mess. That semblance of shame gathers, grows and coagulates within its bottle, until the cork can no longer perform its job. Your former mess of emotions... have now transformed into your deepest fears: your embarrassment.
If only someone... anyone could alter your insecurities from a dangerous tragedy-in-waiting, to a harmonious tune – one that would allow acceptance, and effectively soothe your very essence.
...If only..
… …

*Rounds of applause mixed with cheers*
Principal Leyman: "Okay! Haha, now, now! I know you really enjoyed the twins, but save the talks for the stadium! Before we close for orientation, I must introduce the last and final non-combatant class. Class 3-C, led by Mr. Abrams-"
Random female student #1: "KYAAAAAAAAAAA! PROFESSOR~ PROFESSOR!! LOOK OVER HERE!!"
Before Principal Leyman could finish his introduction: Before Mr. Abrams could even finish climbing the final step leading on stage, The slightest glimpse of his top-hat led waves of students into expressing their adoration.
Random female student #3: "Over HERE Professor~ Look this way~ OVER HERE!!"
Random female student #2: "No, stupid – stop! You're embarrassing him!"
Random student #11: "Oh~ OH~ My heart can't take anymore of this! How could they transfer him? AND RIGHT AFTER I GOT IN!"
Random female student #4: "*Sniff* They're doing it on purpose...*Sni-Sniff* THEY JUST DON'T WANT US TO BE TOGETHER!!!"
Random female student #5: "YOU?! He's MY man! Those adorable bicep-less arms are MINE TO SQUEEZE!"
.
.
.
Mr. Abrams: "...I have biceps.."
Principal Leyman: "Security, shush them all."
Security team: "Yes Boss!"
Random female students 1-5: "PROFESSOR!! PROF-ugh.....*Snore*"
Random student #11: "No! Stay away! Professugh...*Snore*"
Security Head: "*Nods*"
Principal Leyman: "*Nods back* Thank you. Next, due to a shortage of time, I shall introduce only a single student to represent the final class...
(Since he wasn't inside the other two classes, that means my assumption was correct. That one boy Mr. Abrams warned me about: the one who skipped two years ahead. If it's him, just like with the twins we have a chance to turn this doomsday class filled with targets, into some good publicity! I feel bad to surprise him, but! To save that promising young hero – Elijah! Not to mention the woman's no doubt done her homework about Ophelia. Maybe even Ian and Alyandrea: those sidekick failures. He'll have to face this tiger-like reporter! Hopefully I'm not making a mistake...)"
.
.
.
Reporter: "Hmph! Even if you wished to save face, there's NO way that I'll allow you to! Bring it on!!! It doesn't matter who – I know ALL of the Hero and Sidekick losers you're hiding in that failure Prince's class! All thanks to my undetected, secret informant! I can already see tomorrow's headlines~ Shocking! 5 students that flunked the entrance exam, are allowed in through 'BACK DOOR'...THE NON-COMBATANT DIVISION! OHOHOHOHO~"
Random student near her: "SHHH! Shut-up old lady, I'm tryna hear him speak!"
Reporter: "I'm not old!! You take that back right now!!! HAAA~ *HISSSS!*"
Random student near her: "Eeeek!"
That student's Parent: "Hey! If you don't leave my child alone then I'm calling for security to remove you! SEC-"
Reporter: "Ah! Please don't do that, I'll behave~ Uhuhuhu~"
Parent: "Hmph!"

Gamer
This story is abandoned and has not been authorized for distribution on any sites but RoyalRoad. Given the Gamer ability after shattering a crystal inside a game, Jon's world is upturned as he is thrown into a life he considered fantasy. Making new enemies and encountering a god, he cannot escape the quest which is forced on him. Different worlds and different situations, can he come out on top? He's neither perfect nor a saint, he is Jon. Welcome to Gamer. This has been dropped, I didn't like the way I forced a few plotpoints and I lost my notes on the story itself. Read below if you want to be spoilered. As far as I recall, he would change race into a higher human after using a spell to overload his mana repeatably until his body forcibly adapts, he would train up his rift usage spell with some better targets than God's Realm because he keeps hitting his stats limit until the cost lowers enough that he can actually grind it. His world is being invaded by multiple worlds, so the god had many backup plans where a lot of people went into their own fantasy settings and came back to defend Earth. Jon never is the strongest one out there, he has to keep grinding and grinding before he gets stronger than the other heroes, and at that point the invasion is nearing the final stretch. Jon's two biggest advantages is that he can keep grinding without hitting a cap he can't evolve, and that even when he is eventually killed. He would have respawned in the nearest 'Safe Zone' after dropping a level and everything he did to gain that level. I also had a bunch of ideas for mini-arcs where he would play in multiple worlds in multiple situations, not that great of an idea in retrospect.

The Tales of the Revolution
Synopsis: As a scholar of science and technology, Joseph Algorith was a man who pursued his dream in unrealistic methods, using his intelligence to surpass all hurdles in this Galactic Era. He was an idealist that combined his thoughts with realism. However, unbeknownst to him in how it had happened, he had gained the opportunity to research a new system, a massive planetoid shrouded in mysteries and magic. However, to fully realize his ambition and creativity, he must save the human race of this magical world, filled with different races and monsters. “The Heavens had forced me, so I shall propose and never will be disposed of.”- Joseph Algorith Spoiler: Basically, he is reborn, with his knowledge as a scientist of the galactic era, into a new world with magic and aura powers. In this world, humans are part of the 7 major races, but two (or three) are planning to enslave them, while the others are watching on the sidelines. His plans are to develop modern weapons to strengthen the human nation because the mages and aura users aren't immortal or have steel flesh even as they get more power to the point they can deal damage of a howitzer using special moves. Though it doesn't mean that there aren't magical armours (and other things)... Extra: I'm not sure if romance will be in this. Depends on whether you, the readers, would like it or how I develop the story further. And there won't be an exact release schedule as I prefer my pace of writing and because I'm busy in life (school and extra activities, FML). If you find any mistakes, please remind me. Also, my writing style and the pace of the story may be slower than other stories you might have read on this website. Though I may make some revisions with the story, considering my editor's thoughts. Also, my story has some concepts from RTW in terms of the idea of creating weapons in a magical world, however, the plot is mine. After reading, tell me, what do you think of the beginning? What do you think your rating would be.?If possible, comment down below anything that could help me improve or to express your thoughts. Lastly, please NO COPY AND PASTE!
